My Lan is a Vietnamese restaurant in Justin, TX that's clean, modern, and serves legit Vietnamese cuisine in a growing area where Asian restaurants are limited. The menu is large and will satisfy most tastes, but for me I was so happy to see familiar items on the menu. My Overall Rating - 4 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) Atmosphere - My Lan is in a new shopping strip with ample parking. Inside the new restaurant is clean, modern, and has some impressive large screen TVs inside (this matters to me ). There also appeared to be a drive through window. I didn't try it out so if you do LMK! 1 Star. Service - I came in for lunch on Saturday. They were semi-busy, but our servers were very nice. My Lan is a legit Vietnamese restaurant because my mom ordered in Vietnamese. The staff was very nice and were always pleasant and smiling. 1 Star. Food - I ordered the Mực rang muối (salt and pepper squid). The squid was seasoned well, but it was a bit chewy. The veggies were fresh and tasty. It was good (not great). But I DON'T CARE. I'm in Justin, TX eating a dish that normally can only be ordered in Arlington or Garland. I also ordered a Vietnamese Iced Coffee that was sweet and creamy. Again, I'm in Justin, TX. 1 Star. Will I Return? - Yes. Did I mention I was in Justin? Yes, it was great to see a familiar restaurant with familiar dishes. Bonus - My Lan won't break the bank. 1 Star.

Good food and service. Pho was on point! Good price too. We got the cold viet coffee to go and it was good!

Hey Justin, TX! You guys now have a My Lan in your neighborhood! No more having to drive to the Alliance location for good Vietnamese food and boba drinks. Today was their grand opening and we had to go try it out. The new spot is in a shopping strip off FM 156. The space is smaller compared to the Alliance location but beautifully decorated. We came in for a late lunch and the place was poppin! We were lucky to snag a table. No surprise though because everyone knows My Lan is the spot! The menu is the same as the Alliance location so no worries if you have your favorites! And if you are new to My Lan, they have solid pho, rice dishes, vermicelli noodle bowls, and their famous eggrolls to name a few. The boba drinks are spot on especially their Thai teas. I was in the mood for pho and ordered their combination bowl. It was comforting and delicious. Always hits the spot. My friend ordered her usual grilled pork vermicelli noodle bowl and enjoyed it as usual. Of course we had to share an order of eggrolls as well. With any opening day, whether with new or experienced owners, things were a little chaotic. We still got our food in a timely manner and everyone was so friendly. It was just fun to be a part of an exciting new chapter for them. So please pack your patience as they are trying their best. I was told they're having a dragon dance tomorrow at 9:30 am so come out to experience that! This location is closed on Mondays and they have a drive thru window which I'm assuming is for pick-up orders only.

Great food as always. Very comparable to their other locations. I scarfed down those egg rolls and chicken chow fun. Highly recommend. Service was friendly, similar how you can sit where you want and pay at the counter after. Very nice location in Justin. Definitely try it!

This was our second take out from My Lan. I was impressed with all of the food that we had. My son had the fried rice and chicken and it takes good. The vermicelli was awesome and made two meals. The rare beef pho was very good and also makes two meals. The staff is always very nice even though I was getting the food to go. Ambiance we very nice while We did not eat there. Food 10 out of 10. Service was N/A as take out Ambiance was 8 out of 10. We will return...

The host greeted me and its seat yourself. There was no introduction as to whom was serving me. I ordered the chicken pho and chicken spring rolls. The menu I wish I took a picture of because the format of the menu was confusing to me to understand at first. The spring rolls are amazing! They tasted fresh and the ingredients are so fresh in the rolls. I'd rate the rolls an 8 out 10. I really liked the sauce that came with it. Now the pho; I enjoyed the amount of side ingredients they give you on the side. The ingredients were fresh and crunchy. The noodles for me were breaking when I was grabbing them. So it was making it hard to eat. There were way too many noodles and they seemed to me was over cooked. The pho came out warm and I'm very picky about my chicken. So my flavor palette is different than others. The chicken was a little tough for me to eat. And after a while of eating the pho wasn't as hot and started to have a different taste to it. I'd rate the pho a 5. The waitress did go on break and I didn't ask for a refill on my water. I think there could be a more attentiveness for the customers. This was my first time coming here. Everyone deserves a break though. Maybe I should have relayed that to the worker. I really liked the chicken in the spring rolls and wished I liked the chicken in the pho. Not a bad place overall. I'd come here just for the spring rolls and order them to go. Wish there was a little more excitement to the service. Like Hi my name is (blank) how are we doing today? Is this your first time visiting us? So service was a 5 for me as well. Overall will be coming back to give it another shot because you never know if you catch someone on a bad day. And always want to give people the benefit of the doubt. It seems very clean and put together.

Great pho, very friendly service. We eat here 2-3 times per week. The grilled pork appetizer is also really good.

I have eaten at enough sushi restaurants to know the formula…read more Step 1: Install bamboo. Step 2: Add a dragon. Step 3: Play mysterious flute music. Step 4: Name every roll after either a volcano, a ninja, or an apocalypse. Komodo Loco apparently looked at that formula and said, "Nah." This place has actual character. The restaurant is dark and cool without feeling like you're being interrogated. There are cozy little nooks everywhere, and somehow it manages to feel both laid-back and upscale. Like if a speakeasy and a sushi restaurant had a child who grew up with excellent taste. Then the food arrived. Look, I've had plenty of sushi. I've had good sushi. I've had "my friend won't stop talking about this sushi" sushi. Komodo Loco belongs in the last category. The fish was incredibly fresh, but what really stood out was that the rolls didn't all taste like slight variations of spicy mayo negotiating with cream cheese. The flavors were genuinely original. We ordered the Crispy Rice Bites, the T-Dub Roll, and the Horacio Roll based on our server's recommendations. The Crispy Rice Bites were so good I briefly considered ordering a second round before I had finished the first. The T-Dub Roll disappeared from the plate so quickly that I suspect it may have violated several laws of physics. The Horacio Roll was one of those dishes that makes you stop talking mid-sentence and stare into the middle distance while reconsidering every life choice that led you to not order two of them. Which brings me to our server: Breann. Or Breanna. I apologize for not knowing which one. In my defense, I was busy entering a committed relationship with sushi. My daughter is moving to Denton, and since we don't live here, we asked what we should order. Breann/Breanna immediately became the Gandalf of menu navigation. There was no hesitation. No "everything is good." No vague server diplomacy. Just confident recommendations that absolutely delivered. She was kind, funny, helpful, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. More importantly, she made my daughter feel at home in a city she's about to call home. As a dad, that meant a lot. I also loved how Komodo Loco celebrated Pride Month. Not because restaurants have to weigh in on everything, but because the atmosphere simply communicated: "Hey, you're welcome here." And honestly, that's one of the best things a restaurant can do. Good food fills your stomach. A welcoming place fills the room. Komodo Loco managed to do both. So yes, I'll be back every time I'm in Denton. My daughter thinks she's moving here for school. I think she's moving here so I'll have an excuse to eat at Komodo Loco several times a year. One of us is probably right.

It wasn't very busy at the time, but our drinks still took about ten minutes to arrive. We started with potstickers, which were delicious, and our little one's avocado came out quickly, which we appreciated. However, after placing our order, we noticed several tables seated after us receiving their food before we did. At one point, we were concerned our order may have been overlooked. When the food finally arrived, it was very good--no complaints there--but the wait was a bit disappointing, especially since most of what we ordered were appetizers. Overall, we'd still come back, just hoping for a smoother experience next time.
