They have these great rice bowls called chop-chops that come in a regular or large size. Just a little tip, regular can be split or half taken to go. There are several ones to choose from I recommend the Cuban or Mexican, either one with the black beans is a great choice. Pick from guacamole, lettuce, pico and tomatoes. It is all good. Mix and match to create a flavor that works best for you. This place is really clean, the staff is patient and helpful as well. I needed a minute to figure out what I wanted. It was nice to not have the employees look at you crazy when you are looking at the menu not knowing what you want. I have been twice in one week. Heck yeah its good! Chicken Kitchen is delicious and healthy for a reasonable price. The food is fresh and it never takes a long time, which makes it a great place to go for lunch. The chicken is grilled or rotisserie and you see the meat cooking on the grill or in the oven. The sides and toppings are great and they don't have a fryer, so no fries. Chicken Kitchen is a great place to grab a bite to eat so long as you know what you're getting into - as you might have guessed from the name, they specialize in making chicken. Most of the stuff on the menu is American Heart Association certified in terms of nutritional value so if you're looking to eat healthy this is a great place to start. That being said, since the food is healthy, it's going to be somewhat bland since it's going to be devoid of the fat and sodium that makes your usual lunch/dinner oh so delicious. Parking is usually ok, there's a security guy that walks the premises and makes sure you aren't parking and going to another place that's not in that complex. I give this place a SOLID 3 stars in that it's a great place to grab food in terms of service, etc. I just can't give it 4 because the fat kid in me can taste the healthiness in the food. Awesome! Get a Cuban Chop Chop. Its a cup of diced chicken breast in a bowl of rice with lettuce, black beans, and tomato. Its like a chicken bowl at Chipotle. What rules are their sauces! The Cilantro and Curry Mustard sauces kick ass. You help yourself on the sauces so just fill a couple of little cups of sauces. Just get a spoon of rice and chicken and put sauce on it. I would alternate between the cilantro and curry mustard sauces cause both were awesome! Seating was ok today but I could see that seating can be problem during a heavy lunch crowd. Overall this place is tasty and healthy. Their ceasar salad chicken wrap is quite big and very fresh. Also, the Mexican Chop Chop is very good. I got a small size yet the serving was very big! Chicken Kitchen is a place I recommend to my college friends. Quality food in large quantity, cheap and quick. The food quality is a little above average. Something about the dishes makes me feel so healthy. Almost everything is under $10 for a large (you can split this between 2 people). They have a lot of different types of sauce that you can get yourself. These sauces are not what you normally see. I tried just about all of them. They are all very tasty with their own abnormality. The seating area is plentiful. I can see the parking lot being very crowded during lunch time. There is no server. You look at the menu right when you get past the door, tell the employee what you like and he/she slaps it together. If you feel like eating healthy or feel like eating a lot or on a budget. Can't believe I've been so out-of-the-loop about this little gem in rice village. Very casual and great place for lunch. My boyfriend and I ordered the Cuban chop chop and Deluxe chop chop--both were delicious especially when doused in the spicy cilantro and curry dressings. Alot of people get the chop chops, which are basically like Chipotle bowls but with the option of yellow rice and with roasted chicken. However, unlike Chipotle, you can't ask to put a little bit more of the ingredients you like without getting charged extra (I was not very happy about this). We got the Mexican Chop Chop with guacamole and sour cream. They had a variety of sauces that you can mix in with your chop chop and the best one for me was the Mustard Curry. I was a bit iffy about this at first but it was actually VERY good and it went really well with the rice and the chicken! When I lived there, CK was always a runner up to Pollo Tropical, which had more taste to it, Chicken Kitchen offers a healthy choice to other fast foods in the area. It's pretty basic when it comes to chicken and rice dishes. I usually get the Cuban Chop when I'm there (add lettuce, tomato, and black beans). Only once have I not doused my meal in one or multiple of their special sauces. That one occasion was a sad, sad day. Zero taste in everything that's offered on the plate. A piece of pita bread is offered as some sort of consolation prize for the lack of taste, which isn't much of a consolation. The pita is equally bland and tasteless. I give this place credit for offering healthy portions. There's enough vegetable choices to make any health-minded person squeal with delight. There are a few other options available, including rotisserie chicken. I'd just stick with one of the chop options if trying for the first time. If ordering to go, get plenty of sauce choices, you'll be thankful after the first bite. read more

I've never left a bad review but also never have experienced such bad service. I walked in to order a family meal to go. I requested a larger container to put sauce in and was told that I can only have 4 small containers. I asked why since I could have as much as I would like if I ate in. The manager started yelling and telling me that I am not eating there so I can't. I told him to calm down and that with a baby in my hands it would be easier to fill one container. He continued to yell and so I told him that I'm leaving. He said "go". I then heard him complaining to the gentlemen behind me how I wanted to fill a cup with his sauce.
