Haven't had chicken maison in a while and mannn!! Its so darn good! Always fresh! Great staff we love it here thanks guys.

Three stars because in the past they have been great, but the last two times it has not lived up to the standard and today was the final straw for me. Ordered a Cesar salad for 13.50 and this is what I got - a head of lettuce with NO CHEESE and 6 little pita crisps, underneath the salad. Seriously, it has 3 items in it, and you leave one out and add 6 little pita crisps. Very disappointed and hungry!

Usually go to another store but ordered for pick up here since was in the area. Food tastes standard; same as other locations (only reason it's 2 instead of 1 star). Order was ready later than estimated pick up time but understandable since they were busy. Other employees were pleasant but after pick up service call was horrible w/ the lady packaging orders. We got the chicken feast, which includes 2 whole chickens & 4 sides. Ordered lemon garlic (extra charge) & original, but came home to find that we were given 2 originals instead which could happen since they were busy but we were very sad about since lemon garlic is the most popular/delicious & also not what we ordered. Called as soon as we found out asking if they could update the charge to the correct amount since they messed up but she said we'd have to come in same day for that (doesn't make sense bc gas costs more than actual refund) or come back next time for a free dessert bc it's "just $2". I didn't ask for sass on the side. I definitely don't need the petty dessert. When I called, I asked very calmly & nicely, but the tone & way in which she handled this was very rude & unprofessional. It undermines the "apology" & there should've possibly been a better way of handling this. My family who were eavesdropping were also shocked at the way she handled the call. I am hoping they improve their customer facing employees to be more professional & polite. Never coming back to this location again

Al Hamra Kabob Grill is a restaurant run by a Pakistani owner, specializing in kebabs and grilled…read moremeats inspired by Middle Eastern and Mediterranean cuisine. The menu also features traditional Pakistani, Persian, and Arabic dishes, such as Beef Nihari and Haleem. After several visits, here are my thoughts on some of their grilled meats and desserts. Beef Kofta - 3/5. The kofta was a bit dry and tough. I wish it had more fat and seasoning to make it juicier and more flavorful. The grilling is also somewhat inconsistent--sometimes the kofta comes out beautifully browned, while other times it's over-charred. Grilled Fish - 4/5. This is easily my favorite item on the menu and, in my opinion, their best dish. The fish is seasoned just enough to enhance its natural flavor without overpowering it. It's grilled very well, developing a beautiful golden-brown crust while remaining moist and tender inside. Beef Shish Kebab - 3.5/5. The quality of the beef is decent, especially considering the price. Given the cut of meat they use, they've done a commendable job with the grilling. The beef has a solid seasoning base and a nice sear with just enough char to add flavor without becoming overly smoky. It's reasonably tender, though I wish it retained a bit more juiciness. Chicken Shish Kebab - 3.5/5. Very similar to the beef shish kebab. It has good flavor and is grilled well, but it could benefit from being a little juicier. Gyro - 2/5. Unfortunately, this was the biggest disappointment. The gyro meat on the vertical spit often appears to be rotating without enough heat to properly caramelize and crisp the exterior. As a result, the meat comes across as dry, rubbery, and lacking the rich roasted flavor that makes a great gyro. Kunafa (Knafeh) - 3/5. This dessert has both strengths and weaknesses. The cheese filling has a pleasant, slightly salty flavor and a creamy texture, and I appreciate that it isn't overly sweet. However, the syrup is underwhelming. A good kunafa should be generously coated with a fragrant sugar syrup - ideally infused with rose water or orange blossom water - to provide sweetness and aroma. I also wish the kataifi, the shredded pastry dough, were crispier and lighter to create a better contrast with the gooey cheese filling. Overall, Al Hamra Kabob Grill is one of the better places to enjoy Middle Eastern-style grilled dishes in the South Bay. While a few menu items could be improved, the grilled fish stands out as excellent, and the shish kebabs are solid choices. The owner is also incredibly friendly and welcoming, creating a warm, neighborhood atmosphere that keeps customers coming back. It's not perfect, but it's a restaurant I enjoy visiting from time to time and one I'd recommend if you're craving grilled Middle Eastern flavors.

I wanted to follow up my very short review that I wrote about this restaurant over a decade ago as I have continued to frequent this restaurant and I have always enjoyed their food. What they offer here is a really nice selection of Mediterranean-based cuisine. They always use the best ingredients, and the food always arrives with a great presentation. Mostly, the food here tastes very-very good. And, isn't that the right reason you actually go to a restaurant in the first place? This is a family-owned and operated business. From this, you can really tell that everybody who works here really cares about the restaurant and the customers. Thus, it's always a great dining experience. Their menu offers a really nice selection of everything from gyro's to kebabs onto salads and the like. There's a really nice choice of both entrées and side dishes for you to choose from. The one thing I will say about this establishment, and this is certainly not a criticism, but whenever you eat here, they always keep the food coming. Whether it is the pita chips, the pita bread, the whatever, when you leave here you are going to be very-very full. This restaurant is located just off of Hawthorne Boulevard and a block from PCH. Thus, it's very easy to find. In terms of parking they have a parking lot over to one side of the building. You could always find a spot there. They also have a number of spots on the street, in front of the restaurant. This is where I always prefer to park. Easy in, easy out. Overall, if you're looking for some great Mediterranean-based food, this is the place to go. You will not be disappointed.

I've never eaten in, but I've picked up food from here twice and have enjoyed their food at my sister's house at least one other time. The first thing I don't understand is how this place is in Torrance rather than Redondo Beach. I don't mean that I don't understand why they chose Torrance over Redondo Beach; I mean that I just don't understand the two cities' boundaries very well, because this feels like straight-up North Redondo to me. The second thing I don't understand is how this place hasn't expanded or multiplied or otherwise won the hearts and minds and stomachs of South Bayers near and far. But maybe it already has. The third thing I don't understand is why I don't come here more often. It's not that far from my sister's house, and I was dog-sitting there earlier this year. . . . I'm fresh out of things I don't understand. What I do understand is that the owners of this place (an Armenian brother and sister?) are amazing. The food is so good and fresh and flavorful. The menu is kind of all over the place, which in most cases is a red flag, but in the case of more than one restaurant owned and operated by Armenians (I'm including my cousin's restaurant before he sold it and retired), the more different items on the menu, the better. Or at least it's not a red flag. I promise. The combo deal is legit, but even without that deal, the prices are good, especially when you consider the food quality. Writing his review now makes me miss King Mediterrano even though I don't normally miss it or think about it. Those days are over. Next time I have calories to collect in the South Bay, I'm headed straight for Redondo Beach Boulevard.
