Chicken Maison is consistently good. Buit last Saturday. I ordered a whole spicy lemon chicken to go with sauce on the side. After eating a piece of chicken with a little bit of sauce,m like my daughter we both got the runs the next day. My wife who didn't add sauce to her chicken didn't have the same problem. Sunday, we had left over chicken my daughter didn't add any sauce and I added a small spoon full. We didn't have any problems. But my wife didn't want to waste the sauce really covered her chicken with gobs and gobs of sauce. Sunday night she basically stayed on the toilet and couldn't get off for more then 10 minutes and she had to get back down. Monday she started throwing up on top of diarrhea. We were very close to the point of calling 911. We all came to the conclusion that the sauce was bad, so a word of warning don't order the Spicy Garlic chicken. It could be dangerous to your health. This was really really bad incident otherwise I wouldn't write this review. Be Warned!! read more

I've been eating here for years. Love their rotisserie chicken and all their flavor and side options. All the years I've been coming, always had good customer service except for today. Guy with the the dyed blonde hair and heart tattoos on wrist was short with his customers. I could already see that he looked upset from a phone call before I even went up to register. Not sure what pissed him off today, but asking for an extra garlic sauce for the naan in my dish made him more upset. He snapped at me as if my request for one more sauce was really inconveniencing him and said uhh what kind of sauce?? I told him I'm just asking if you can provide one extra garlic sauce for the naan bread. He didn't respond, grabbed the sauce and gave it to me while looking in another direction. Not sure what is going on at my former favorite restaurant? I have accepted the higher prices but cannot accept the lower quality of service. Has anyone else had issues calling in orders. The team at the Rolling Hills location seems to NOT ANSWER the phones whenever they wish. I understood being busy but that's ridiculous. How is it that the team at the Torrance location has a system for answering the phones but the Rolling Hills location does not. I'm trying not to walk away but it's getting hard. I asked the manager at Torrance to share my feedback with the owner and she said she would. Chicken Maison took a MAJOR price increase!!!! They are too expensive now. It feels like they've gotten greedy. See the attached photos. They have raised their prices dramatically. A year ago a Chinese Salad was $11.95 today I paid $14.95 (including tax, my bill was $16.37... That's almost $20 for a salad) That's a 25% increase in one year. How many of you got a 25% raise? Did their employees get a 25% raise? Feels like GREED to me. The food is still great but for that amount of money, I can go to a sit down restaurant. Whenever we play golf, the biggest question is, "What's for lunch after this?" Los Verdes Golf Course is a preferred course during the thick of the summer for its cool temperatures and nice views. Chicken Maison is one of the spots we frequent after the round while in this area. It's real close to the course and in the path of the way down the mountain. It's conveniently located in a plaza full of other shops that has plenty of parking. The food is pretty solid. The word "chicken" is in the name of the restaurant, so why deter from that? We like the spicy lemon garlic sauce with the grilled chicken. Though, it's not really spicy at all. That sauce, coupled with some brown rice and the grilled chicken all comes together nicely. I would recommend considering going family style if you order this amount of chicken. The warm pita bread works magically with the white garlic sauce (Lebanese?) they give you. We actually all agreed that we like that garlic dip with the pita more than the hummus that came with the chicken. With an order of a whole chicken, we got two sides. Although, the brown rice sounds boring and healthy, it's actually tasty and moist. The Chinese chicken salad is a plentiful dish. Also, recommended to share. The customer service today was on point. Big thanks to Camellia, Sandra, and Bre for taking care of us from start to finish. We ordered with ease, the food came out fast, and the ladies checked up on us from time to time. They even helped cleared out table even though the self-tray to put your utensils and plates away was an arm's reach away from us. Every time I call this chicken maison to place an order it's chaos. They ask you to repeat and you repeat the order. Then when you show up you ALWAYS need to check the order because they obviously get the order wrong. Then when you tell them the order is wrong they look at you like it was your fault. The people that answer the phone act clueless and the people I'm charge argue with you. I now drive all the way to chicken DIJON in Torrance. When you call them they look you up by phone number and know you by name. They have your order history and can usually guess what you're getting. They never get the order wrong. I no longer go to chicken maison in PV because the staff is terrible. read more
