As someone who doesn't LOVE chain restaurants - chicken salad chick impressed me. All 4 chicken salads that I tried were truly delicious. Well blended, very flavorful, and great texture. I particularly loved the lemon basil chicken salad and the loaded potato soup. We ordered two trio's - each came with one sandwich, one scoop, side, crackers, pickle, drink, and a cute frosted sugar cookie! A whole lot of food for a VERY reasonable price. There was one thing that I didn't care for and that was the texture of the bread. It does not crumble (from what I've read - that is intentional). For me, it was just a bit odd. Super impressed by this place! They opened during the pandemic and have made a really go at the business! We were lucky to arrive when they opened so they weren't too busy yet. We were greeted by the owner and the manager right away. Since we were newcomers, they recommended trying whatever we wanted so we could make our decision! You order and pay at the counter. They then give you a number and they will bring out the food. We hadn't even filled our drinks before the food was at our table! If you are pressed with time for lunch, this is the place to go! The first thing I noticed was how clean and neat the dining room area especially I came during busy dinner rush. I cannot say this for a lot of fast dining. They have a spacious indoor and outdoor dining area. Being my first time Brayden did a great job explaining their menu and giving excellent recommendation to try for the first timers, great customer service experience. They also have Grab and go bar if you are in a rush. They have good amount of pre made selections. I tried Classic Chicken salad BLT sandwich and Turkey sandwich both with croissant . They were both delicious and quality of the ingredients were superb. Must try the side of grape salad. I never had anything like it before. Mmm... this is a nice place when you need a break from all the fried and greasy food you eat throughout your week. I ordered the Lauryn's Lemon Basil with a side of broccoli and bacon salad. They definitely served a huge portion of chicken salad in the bread, but I was expecting chopped chicken as opposed to shredded. The amount of mayonnaise was a bit overwhelming, and you can't really taste the basil or lemon in the chicken salad. So overall there's a lot that are just a little unknown to really say this place is truly overall a healthy option, well it might just be the item I ordered. But the calorie count sent me to the Fruity Fran for my lunch choice. I was surprised the green grapes were whole in this chicken salad. I will say all the salads are are held together with a lot more mayo than this weight watcher is used to. Maybe that's why they were so good!!! I ordered the Chick special --choose two. I had the Fruity Fran scoop and a seasonal salad. $1 upgrade was worth it to me! The salad was chocked full of fresh greens, Apples, strawberries, finely chopped nuts, craisens, and some feta. The poppyseed dressing complimented it perfectly. It was served with packaged crackers and a salty dill pickle pear. For $10.05 it also came with a yummy mini buttercream cookie and fountain drink (soft drinks Coke products, sweet tea and unsweetened, and lemonades). If you want a refill, please ask for a new cup due to COVID. Speaking of COVID-19, masks are being worn by every employee, use a touch-less menu you scan onto your phone, the cute decor inside includes tables socially distanced, there's comfortable outdoor dining (that overlooks a parking lot) and hand sanitizer galore. This is now officially my favorite lunch spot! Came in on a whim when we were in there area and it did not disappoint. Everyone was so friendly - I would say by far superior service to what you might expect. The manager(s?) even checked by our table to ask if everything was good, and we had an employee offer to clear our table when we were finished eating. These things really make a dining experience memorable. We were fortunate to have dropped in on a Wednesday, when they have the Chicken Tortilla soup, which was recommended by our checkout associate at the order counter. I got the combo with Classic Carol chicken salad scoop and a cup of the soup and my husband just got a bowl of the soup. I have to say WOW it was so good. I can't bring myself to order anything else but it's perfect. Usually order with a side of broccoli salad which is also very very good! My husband has tried the Classic Carol and the Buffalo chicken salad and loved both. We probably need to explore more of the menu but seem to have found our favorites. Got the Classic Carol on toasted white bread with lettuce and tomato with side of mac and cheese. Also got the Olivia's Old South on wheat berry toast with side of broccoli salad. Every single time I come to this shopping center (on this side) there is always someone PARKED sitting in this area making it difficult, if not, dangerous.
