Their chicken salad is always good. However there are some issues. The girl taking out order asked us 3 times if we were dining in or taking out. Not that big of a deal. She didn't understand the 'fundraiser' monthly deal A and seemed confused in general. My tomatoe was a tiny little piece of nothing . My husband remided me of the same issue we had months ago. When the young lady came over and asked us every if everything was okay, I showed her my sandwich and the the picture of previous visit also. She said the truck brought the wrong roma tomatoes. But my husband's tomato was normal portion. My pasta salad side was dry and tasteless. My husband's broccoli salad also dry . Their chicken salad is excellent but they need to work on portions and sides.

I'm just gonna say it. I love Chicken Salad Chick! I would be a regular if there were one in south Durham where I live or even West Cary. I just don't get over to the area they're in much at all. They have a huge variety of chicken salad to choose from. My favorite is the lemon basil, but I have tried other selections they have too. There's a nice selection of sides too that are very tasty. One of the most unique things is their toasted bread. We all know when bread is toasted it has a roughness about it. Their's doesn't. It's smooth. I don't know how they get it that way, but I like it. It still is crunchy, but to the touch it's smooth. Their employees are always very nice and welcoming. They keep the line moving too when it's busy. The restaurant is always clean inside and is pleasantly designed.

I finally got a chance to check out the chicken salad chick. The cafe is casual ans they have plenty of menus to peruse as you wait in line. I ordered 2 the chick meals and you pick from a scoop and a side or sandwich and side. I got the classic and Lauryn's lemon scoops and broccoli salad and chicken poblano soup. I like the Lauryn's lemon the best! The broccoli salad is also a great side. The staff was really friendly and fast. They have a health score of 100 too. If you have a go play save book, I recommend using a coupon. This is a casual chicken salad focused eatery and had lots of foot traffic!

The owner came to check on everyone throughout the entirety of our stay, he was so friendly and caring which was enough for us to come back. Everything was clean, including the bathroom, and while eating he offered us a sample of the broccoli salad which was absolutely incredible! Me and my boyfriend were genuinely shocked at how good some raw broccoli could be . The food itself was delicious and refreshing, I didn't have that drowsy feeling that I normally have after eating lots of food. Seating was comfortable and plentiful, both outdoor and indoor seating is available. We will definitely be coming back. Big thanks to Mike and the kind crew!

I love me some chicken salad chick and really wish one would open in Durham! I stopped here bc I wanted a casual low key dinner while house sitting near by. I'm so glad it wasn't busy when I got there bc the young man at the register seemed to be having a tough time getting the order entered for the woman he was helping. It took a bit longer than I expected for them to bring out my food, although there were not many people physically there eating I did notice a few to go orders so they may have been slammed with those. I placed my order a meal; a Nancy on a croissant and a side of grape salad. The sandwhich was good, but it's a rare occasion for me to get chicken salad and I probably could have done without the carbs of the croissant and really focused more on the chicken salad. The grape salad is one of my favorites! I am all about the pickle, it's always the last thing I eat. The best part of the whole visit of course is that little cookie with butter cream frosting-I took that with me and savored each bite as I sat in my car before leaving the parking lot. I've never had a bad experience at any chicken salad chick locations and look forward to future visits!

I didn't expect much from a place called Chicken Salad Chick, but their elevated chicken salads and excellent customer service provided me with a wonderful experience and inspiration for my own chicken salad mixtures. I dropped by recently to get takeout. It was a weekday lunch but there was a constant stream of customers. The interior decor reminded me a bit of a retirement community I used to volunteer at, but everything was neat and clean. I got the meal with a lemon basil croissant sandwich and a scoop of the classic chicken sandwich. My friend got the egg salad classic salad. She was torn on which dressing to choose, and the cashier was kind enough to give her both! (Both were tasty too!) The classic chicken salad was an example of simple done right. Perfect, spreadable texture and delicious savory flavor. The lemon basil chicken salad was so refreshing, prefect for a summer day! Paired with the complimentary pickle spear, each bite was a burst of fresh flavor. My only complaint was that the croissant was a bit stale, and not particularly buttery. My friend enjoyed her salad and the egg salad was tasty as well. The cookie that comes with each meal is a pre-packaged sugar cookie. This was definitely skippable for me, and I was amused by the frosting being firmer than the cookie. With low prices and generous portions, chicken salad chick is a great lunch spot. Looking forward to trying their other scoops and sides!

I'm not in this area much and was to get lunch at another business in Waverly Place today. But not having a good experience with their breakfast, I knew Chicken Salad Chick where I had an Elite event in the past would be a good choice. This visit I went with the prepackaged area. I couldn't decide what flavor to get so went with two, the Cranberry Kelli and the Fruity Fran. I couldn't have gone wrong with any of the flavors. I also got a grape salad. Harrison was so friendly and enthusiastic to make sure I had everything I needed from providing crackers for the salads to a topping for the grape salad. The customer service is really top notch here.

I first thought the scoops were smaller so it wouldn't be so filling but don't let them fool you it was very filling. The Scotty was my fav. The Spicy Pimento was a little spicer than I expected but still not too hot. The pasta salad was one of the best I've had! The service was great too with the friendly person taking my order to the people that bring you your food and that walk around checking on you and taking your trash.

First things first- I love sandwiches! Add a delicious home made chicken salad to the mix...I'm forever a fan! Love the Carols Classic chicken salad, their baked potato salad is so good and finishing off with their signature cookie so a must. Staff is great, service is quick and the sandwiches are great!

I checked out this place thanks to a yelp elite event. New restaurant with an overwhelming number of takes on the chicken salad, but! They allow you to have samples in case you're having difficulty deciding! The staff was very friendly and walked me through the menu. I ordered the buffalo Barclay on toasted wheat which had a slight kick but wasn't too spicy. Overall a solid 7/10 for chicken salad. My side was the Mac and cheese, which was in all honesty... Mac and cheese.... I was hoping for maybe a slight twist since the rest of the menu had so many options but if you're a fan of the no frills Mac and cheese, go for it! There was plenty of indoor and outdoor seating and the outdoor seating had umbrellas to shield you from the NC sun. Lastly, they have a prepackaged Togo area where you can buy your favorite type of chicken salad. To me it seemed like a perfect lunch option to pair with my own crackers or sides!

We stopped by on a Sunday morning and the place was buzzing--I'm guessing many diners were coming from church. Thankfully we made a reservation because every table seemed to fill up quickly. To kick things off, we each ordered a refreshing Lone Rider wheat beer along with two appetizers. The Shoestring Okra Fries were a fun twist on a Southern classic--crispy, lightly seasoned with chili citrus seasoning, and even better dipped in the tangy lime mayo. We also shared the Artichoke Dip, which arrived bubbling hot, creamy, and perfect for spreading on the toasted bread. For brunch, we went with two very different dishes, and both were excellent. The Asparagus & Mushroom Omelet was fluffy and packed with flavor from the goat cheese and pickled onions, while the buttery biscuit with jam on the side was a nice Southern touch. The Fried Green Tomato & Bacon Benedict was the standout of the meal. Crispy fried green tomatoes, perfectly poached eggs, smoky bacon, and rich hollandaise came together beautifully without feeling overly heavy. We couldn't leave without one more treat. The Strawberry Kiwi Margarita was bright, fruity, and balanced with just enough tequila and a zesty spiced citrus rim to keep it refreshing. To finish, we shared an Affogato, the perfect ending with creamy ice cream and a shot of hot espresso. If you're planning a Sunday brunch in Cary, make a reservation--you'll be glad you did. We'll definitely be back to explore more of the menu.

It has been a Raleigh institution for nearly 30 years, serving breakfast and lunch with a focus on traditional Southern home cooking. It's a classic North Carolina country restaurant filled with regulars, simple furnishings, brick columns, ceiling fans, and happy diners enjoying long lunches. Restaurants like this are becoming increasingly rare. This restaurant is well known across North Carolina and much of the Southeast. I am always surprised by how many people throughout North Carolina, east and west, know of it and have eaten here. It has been featured on WRAL's Tar Heel Traveler series featuring Scott Mason. The inside reminds me of restaurants that were built in the 1970s and 1980s and simply never felt the need to modernize. The terrazzo-style floor, brick columns, vinyl chairs, and ceiling fans all contribute to an authentic, lived-in atmosphere. It feels like a place designed for regular customers who want to remain in a time of family-owned local restaurants with loyal employees who know many of their patrons by first name. Their menu is unique and includes all-day breakfast featuring hand-patted sausage, country ham, homemade biscuits, red-eye gravy, grits, pancakes, and omelets; daily lunch specials that, depending on the day, include fried chicken, barbecue chicken, meatloaf, fried catfish, country-style steak, hamburger steak, pork chops, fried seafood, and turkey with dressing and gravy. Fresh vegetables also change daily and often include collards, butter beans, cabbage, squash and onions, yams, cucumbers, black-eyed peas, and other Southern staples such as fried okra. Meals are served with biscuits and hush puppies, reinforcing the old-fashioned Southern diner experience. Today, I had roasted turkey with plenty of gravy over dressing. It came with cranberry sauce. You get two sides, and I had black-eyed peas and fried okra. The turkey was moist, and the gravy seemed homemade, covering the turkey as it rested on a bed of dressing. The fried okra had an even golden coating, and the black-eyed peas seemed slow-cooked and homemade. This is exactly what I've come to expect here. They always live up to their well-earned reputation as a place specializing in Southern comfort food. I drank a half-and-half mix of sweet and unsweetened iced tea. No need to ask for a refill; the pitchers of both are left on the table. But that doesn't mean you'll miss your waitress for very long; she'll check on you regularly. In other words, the service is every bit as good as the food, with plenty of old-fashioned Southern hospitality. Important things to consider when planning a trip: They only serve breakfast and lunch. They are open 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to noon on Saturday, and are closed Sunday and Monday. They accept cash and checks only--no credit cards, debit cards, Apple Pay, Venmo, or other electronic payment methods. The prices are reasonable enough that they won't break your wallet or checking account. There is an ATM on the premises for your convenience. I can't wait to go back. Great food, great service, great hospitality, and always a great experience.

I was thrilled that most of the menu was available. They were just out of the banana pudding. So I got to try the pecan wings I read about with the white sauce. It was so good. Then I got the chicken pot pie and biscuits. The pot pie had old biscuits for the topping, but the creamy mixture with large chunks of chicken was delicious. My biscuits came with honey and were served warm. I left with a slice of the chocolate-caramel-coconut cake, a side salad without onions, and a fried boneless thigh. The salad was made correctly, and the dressing was included. The salad was full of veggies, and the cake was rich and moist. Service was friendly and as soon as I finished my iced tea, another appeared. My wings were brought out first and it was a while for the rest of the meal as the restaurant was full. But they didn't rush me at all. I actually liked the space between the dishes, as I might not have been able to eat it all otherwise. I couldn't finish both biscuits and was even provided a container for the honey. I am going to miss Beasley's, but I'm glad I got a positive experience to remember the restaurant.
