I enjoy the variety of chicken salad options and side dishes, portion size, ambiance, etc. But I noticed an up charge on my receipt today of $1.00 which granted it's not a lot, however, there is nothing on menu board and cashier when she gave options of bread she didn't mention that a croissant was a $1.00 more. I went back and questioned it, she confirmed it was true, but when I asked where it was posted she said it isn't. She definitely didn't tell me and I think they should tell you those things upfront when providing options. read more

Horrible experience. First of all, they close at 7, not 8, and we got there at 6:45. They served us, but rather than being chill about it, they made it known they didn't want us there past 7. We ate as fast as we could, and were gone before 7:05, but 2 of the employees left at 7 sharp and another one mopped around our table while we were eating. It gets worse. They got my daughter's order wrong and argued with me about it. Also, 3 of the 4 of us got no crackers. My daughter didn't get a cookie. I very rarely post reviews, but I was so disappointed with this place (twice now), I felt I had to. I ordered a Pimento Cheese BLT with toasted white bread. The sandwich was so cold, it was almost soggy. The bacon was equally as cold. It took less than two minutes for me to get the sandwich, so obviously it was done half ass. They also serve pimento cheese, egg salad and a spicy pimento cheese. Salads, sides and soups. Signature sandwiches are also on the menu, these are served on your choice of croissant, white and wheat berry breads. I finally decided to try the Chick Trio. I chose the Classic Carol, Barbie-Q and Mimi's Mix. The Classic Carol is made with all white meat chicken with celery mayo and a secret seasoning, the Barbie-Q is hickory smoked barbecue, Olivia's Old South is a traditional chicken salad with sweet pickles and eggs.I thought all three had a good flavor, but out of the three, I liked Classic Carol the best. I really like the concept and the variety of chicken salad here. The staff was super friendly and allowed me to sample several items . I sampled the Dixie chick, buffalo Barclay and sassy Scotty. Some of my friends and I went to this Chicken Salad Chick to enjoy a meal. It took a long time to get our food because the girls working were standing around and not preparing our food and when we finally did we were not given any Utensils. We didn't think much of this because we were just ready to eat our food. We sat in there five minutes past the time they closed and they decided to start vacuuming. We didn't have a problem with that until one of us was asked to pick up our feet so that they could vacuum underneath. They preceded to tell us they were closed in a disrespectful tone. It didn't seem like a big deal but the girls that were working kept laughing while looking and talking about us. We then realized that they were becoming impatient with us so we decided to leave. As we were walking out I decided to refill my drink so I asked one of the girls if they could turn the machine back on. I've been to this Chicken Salad Chick several times now and I'm definitely a fan. It's become my go to place for a quick lunch. Even though their most popular item is obviously their various chicken salads, I always go with the sandwiches. My favorite is the turkey hoagie. I like that you can get it on various types of bread. My favorites are the hoagie and the croissant. It comes with a side, pickle, and cookie. I've also had thier loaded baked potato soup which is fantastic but it's only availble twice a week. I've always thought I wasn't a chicken salad person until I tried the classic recipe here! It was a game changer for me. The restaurant was packed for a reason. Despite the bustle we made it in and out with our order rather fast. The 9.95/1 lb package was split between three people and was filling when paired with the buttery wheat crackers included with our order. You couldn't buy a sandwich that good for that cheap. Today I went to chicken salad chicken after not going for a few weeks because they had forgotten my salad but a complimentary one when I came back. Ordering the meal was difficult because Gus told me they didn't keep with their complimentary meals in the past or so Gus said, then when I picked it up I found that there was no extra scoop on the first plate I checked and Gus informed me would have to pay full price for it. Finally after a bit of back and forth they gave me a the scoop I ordered but not first without Gus saying "make sure you tell us all of your order next time" like I had made the mistake. I work in downtown Greenville and frequent here for lunch. It is always very busy at lunch time, but food still doesn't take long to come out. It's always fast, fresh and yummy! My favorites are the Buffalo Chicken salad and the BBQ one. The only thing that I dislike about this place is that it is small and doesn't have much seating.
