THE FOOD IS AMAZING, you will not be disappointed! I was impressed with the taste, freshness and overall look of the food. 100% will order again!

Chicken Salad Chick has a variety of chicken salads. I chose the buffalo barclay on a croissant roll with my lettuce and tomato on the side. The flavor was there, but there could have been more chicken salad added to the sandwich. Also, the croissant didn't seem as fresh as I've had before. The broccoli salad's base is vinegar, but was still slightly creamy. There's plenty of parking and seating available. Service was quick.

I hate mayonnaise but love chicken salad - go figure. Which is also why I really like Chicken Salad Chick! Their namesake is the perfect blend of white meat chicken, seasoning, mix-ins of your choice, and dressing. I tried both the Fancy Nancy, which is sweet with fruits & nuts, & Dixie Chick, which is savory with onions. Both were delicious on a croissant with lettuce. I ordered To Go on both occasions & the cashier was super pleasant & knowledgeable about the menu. The interior is adorable & would be a great space for a leisurely lunch if one has the time. I'll definitely return when the "I need chicken salad but hate mayo" craving returns!

I have to admit that I'm not sure I ever expected to find my way to one of Indy's newest chain arrivals Chicken Salad Chick. Started by Stacy and Kevin Brown, the company has grown under CEO Scott Deviney and currently has 179 restaurants across 17 states. The transition into Indiana has been a recent one, though spots in Fishers, on West 86th Street, and now in the recently rejuvenated Glendale Town Center are an indication the chain is serious about making its mark here. Before you ask, yes it's true. Chicken Salad Chick is truly centered around chicken salad. Chicken Salad, in a variety of flavors, is a good majority of its menu and you can either get it as a "scoop" or as a sandwich. This location takes over a spot of a restaurant so memorable I've completely forgotten its name. It's at the end of the front strip center in Glendale Town Center and having that spot has allowed Chicken Salad Chick to add a fairly decent patio here. The interior is warm and inviting and has what I'd call a light Southern charm other than the overhead music (that for me actually kind of clashed with the ambience). This strip center is undergoing major renovations with Macy's having been gone for a while now and several new retail spots opening in the near future. The sidewalk is fairly beat up, however, there's still curb cuts and plenty of accessible parking. You go up to the counter to order. The employees were friendly and helpful, though you can tell they're new and still getting a feel for things. I think they were surprised I had the app already downloaded. Yes, they have an app and a rewards program. The menu consists of several flavors of chicken salad, again either as a scoop or a sandwich on wheat or a croissant, a handful of more premium sandwiches, a couple turkey sandwiches, pimento cheese, salads, sides, a soup of the day, a relatively small kids menu, and fountain drinks including both sweet and unsweetened tea. They also have a couple dessert options. After ordering, you get a number and take it to your table. You do get your own drink. For a bit over $12, I got a Chicken Salad BLT, a signature sandwich, along with a side (pasta salad), and a large unsweetened iced tea. I'll admit that initially it seemed a touch steep for chicken salad, but truthfully it's on par with most fast casual restaurants and the meal is refreshingly healthy. The sandwich was abundant and tasty. I had mine on a croissant and really enjoyed it. I'll admit that I can probably count on one hand the number of times I've ever had chicken salad, but it was a nice change of pace and I enjoyed it. I also enjoyed the pasta salad and the tea is delicious. Business was steady. The crowd was mostly older, though it was fairly diverse. It will be interesting to see how Chicken Salad Chick does in this spot. With the newly built apartments and neighborhood changes, it may be nicely situated. The employees are friendly, the atmosphere is warm and inviting, the prices are fair, and they've certainly gotten themselves a niche that's not met in this market. Will I necessarily frequent Chicken Salad Chick? That remains to be seen, though I was way skeptical going into it and definitely pleased by meal's end. I also appreciated that the employees seemed to be getting along and there was a natural warmth that if maintained may very well attract customers. Chicken Salad Chick is definitely a welcome addition to the Indy restaurant landscape.

Another great- CHICKEN SALAD CHICK has opened and this one has a outdoor seating. For $8.49 you can get a scoop or sandwich and one side or soup and a cookie. Or you can get two scoops and no sides. This is called a Chick. For $2.00 more you can get another scoop or side and it's called a Trio. The sides are Broccoli salad/grape salad/pasta salad/fresh fruit or mac & cheese. Or for a dollar more can get a salad. Meals for kids under 10. Scoop of chicken salad or a turkey sandwich or peanut butter and jelly uncrustable or macaroni and cheese. A Quick Chick is A container of chicken salad to go. The small one feeds 2 to 3 people and the large one feeds 4 to 5 people. Also egg salad and pimento cheese. The chicken salad comes Traditional- Savory-Spicy and Fruity & Nutty something for everyone.

WOW!!!! I have been waiting for this location to open (did you know there are others???) and it did NOT disappoint. First off who knew you could make so many different delicious version of a chicken salad; i mean seriously good luck deciding when you come. I chose the jalapeño one and it was soooooo good i was said when my scoop ended. There's a meal you can buy which gives you a scoop. You can have the scoop by itself, on bread or a croissant, I had mine solo but after seeing how big the croissant is!!!!!! Please believe it's what I will be ordering next time (and there will be a next time). The restaurant is set up so you can eat inside or out; and there looked like it was a shaded outdoor earring area. Everyone was very pleasant and extreme my helpful and didn't even rush you as you took time pondering which chicken salad to devour. There were about 5 different sides to choose from. I went with the pasta salad but I eyeballed the grape salad. It sounded interesting based off the description but I don't care don't care for pecans and didn't feel like picking anything out. To be honest the next time I go I will probably order the grape salad. I saw it on another customers plate and it looked AMAZING! As you see I HIGHLY recommend this place. It will absolutely be another one of my go to's for lunch and the best part; if you're in a hurry they have a ton of different pre made sandwiches, scoops of chicken salad and fresh fruit bowls and you can grab and pay a la carte!

Have watched this place take shape over the past few months and been curious to try it out. It was busy at lunchtime, seemed like nearly every table was full! You order at the counter and they bring your plates out to your table. I had a $10 off mailer coupon to use if you ordered $25 worth of food, which seemed to fluster the gal who took our orders a bit. Between two sandwiches with sides and drinks, my friend and I were under by a few bucks, so we kept adding items until we reached the $25 magic limit, but then we still somehow paid $23? I'm not quite sure how that worked. There are a dozen different chicken salad recipes going by Southern names (Olivia's Old South, Dixie Chick, Fancy Nancy, etc.) with various add-ins and flavorings -- buffalo sauce, lemon, fruit, onion, basil and whatnot. You can order any flavor you want by the scoop or in a sandwich with your choice of side. I got the Classic Carol on a croissant with tomato and lettuce, and a side of grape salad because I was curious as to what that might entail. And a scoop of spicy pimento cheese with crackers. The chicken salad was reassuringly cold, but didn't seem much different than what you'd find at a grocery store deli counter. Ditto the croissant. Maybe I should have tried one of the more adventurous flavored options? The grape salad was basically red and white grapes in a little sweet mayo and topped with a sprinkle of chopped pecans. Fine, but nothing I couldn't easily have made for myself at home. The "spicy" pimento cheese had just the faintest whisper of jalapeño. All in all, decent fresh food, but nothing that really blew me away. A nice alternative to Subway, Panera or Jimmy Johns. You'd best like mayonnaise if you come here, because it's in EVERYTHING.

Such a unique restaurant with quality food! I work at a nearby hospital & we decided to pick this up for lunch this weekend. I was honestly iffy on it but decided to give it a try and I'm sooo happy I did. The food was light, fresh, and full of flavor. Everyone loved their food. I got the chicken salad melt on the croissant. The cookies were so soft and had a great taste to them too. The meal was very filling for price. I will definitely be back!

I was on my way home and looked and saw a restaurant I never saw before. I only keyed in on the word salad. That was enough to draw my attention to stop. I was pleasantly surprised when I made it inside. The staff was friendly and assisted me in making my order. They even went a step further and offered free samples. This is something that you rarely see today. I wasn't sure what to order but I ended up with a Fancy Nancy salad and chicken croissant sandwich. I must say I enjoyed both and will certainly be back. Finally, the customer service was first class!

ever since I seen this open up in Glendale Plaza I was excited to try this place. And now that I have tried it, it's just okay. They have different flavors of chicken salad for you to choose from and you also get to choose what type of bread you want as well. I had the spicy jalapeño chicken salad sandwich on a croissant with a side of fruit. Nothing was nasty, food was good but overall this place is just okay and not expensive at all. great little spot for lunch

The food was great! The service was fast and the ambiance was very friendly. There are so many different flavours and I would love to try them all

the employees are very nice. it's clear they care. love the food. I used to eat here weekly but not so much any more. the tacky table cloths are filthy and I remove it before sitting down, which always draws attn and comments which I'd prefer to avoid. 3 times I showed it to employees who, while nice, said they can't do anything. dear CSC: if you can't keep them clean then remove them. Replace Them. because these dirty table cloths make a customer wonder how clean the kitchen is. And I choose other locations for lunch rather than deal with this every time

A new location in the Glendale plaza. I love that they are adding more restaurants to this area and that you can order online. If you're looking for anything other than chicken salad...move along. It really is only chicken salads a few sides and a sandwich or two that you can add chicken salad to. You can order a scoop, or have it on bread/croissant and get a side. You can upgrade to a signature sandwich for fixins like lettuce, tomato, bacon etc on your sandwich. Mac and cheese side is good, pasta salad too. The kickin' Kay Layne and buffalo Barclay are delicious. They also have lots of traditional and fruity/nutty options. Pro tip- get a strawberry lemonade. It's AMAZING.

I've struggled with how to rate and review Goose the Market for a long time…read more I've struggled mightily. It's an Indianapolis icon in many ways. It's beloved. And listen, it's not the most wheelchair friendly place in the world. If you're a wheelchair user, you're in all likelihood not going to the cellar unless you're extraordinary with you're chair or you crawl. I remember attending a Yelp event here, and I just wrestled with these issues so much. It's not inaccessible - you can get in the door, though even the parking is a bit wonky and the curb-cuts a bit worn. This is an older building in an older neighborhood. So yeah, if you're a wheelchair user plan ahead. I am a wheelchair user. And I suppose I should knock off my usual 1-star for accessibility issues. But, I just can't do it. I, instead, choose to go 5-stars with my narrative disclaimer that there are accessibility issues here. But, my word. This is a great place and every single experience I've had with Goose the Market, including last night's Italian Film Festival, has been stellar whether I'm in their location or at an event they are catering. What is Goose the Market? First off, nearly everyone considers it one of the best - Indianapolis Monthly, Eater, Yelp, etc. Goose the Market offers a daily menu of sandwiches, soups, gelato, and small plates. It offers raw beef, pork, poultry, game, seafood, in-house made sausage/smoked meats, and more. It offers charcuterie - both in-house and from other producers. It offers farmstead cheeses, fresh produce, artisan breads, preserves, sauces, pickles, pasta, crackers, flours/grains, and a lot more. There's the cellar - Enoteca bar with Italian style wine by the glass and small plates (and it has all-ages seating). Goose the Market offers a wine of the month club, gift cards, catering, classes, daily specials, and more. What can I say? There are those places that are worth the effort. As a lifelong person with a disability, I long ago realized the world would never be perfectly accessible. It's never going to happen. I'll continue to work toward a more accessible world, though I'll also honor that there are those places where I feel welcome anyway. I feel welcome at Goose the Market, though I can't quite get the full experience. The service is exceptional, the products quite awesome, the environment warm and friendly, and there's simply no doubt it's one of Indy's treasures. So yeah, five stars. With a disclaimer that those with mobility impairments may need to plan ahead or have a companion along. Who wants to be my companion?

We were told we would get 1.5lbs bacon, and .5lbs bacon bits. When picking up the bacon, we only got the bacon, and none of the bits. This needs to be updated on the class description. Sandwiches: we tried a goose, and a batalli. The goose was good- nothing spectacular. I was a fan of the batalli- nice amount of mayo, appropriate spice, and good amount of meat/cheese. Would definitely get the batalli next time. Overall, I enjoy the sandwiches, think the sandwich class could be improved.
