Chicken Salad Chick is such a cute place to grab a healthy and refreshing bite to eat! Everyone is so nice here! It's easy to see the employees are passionate about what they do. I've gone here twice in the last two weeks. I wish they had tuna salad (hehe) but the egg salad makes a change and is just as delicious! The sandwich was huge in my opinion and I intended on eating the other half later buttttttt...I failed. There's so many types of chicken salad so there's variety no matter what you're craving. So, I went here when they 1sy opened & honestly, it was a *Cluster Bomb*. Now, couple yrs later I gave 'um another try. Today was pretty damn good. Reg Chix Salad BLT that came w/Choice of soup; My Wife Lemon Basil Chic Salad on a Crossaint w/soup. 2 reg drinks. (SEE PIC for total). Soups included as a side; Broccoli/Cheese was much better than my Loaded Potato. Both however needed salt & pepper to give a little seasoning as just bland. My BLT was toasted on wheat & very good. Crossaint roll was fresh and Chix Lemon Basil had more flavor than mine which was just your basic Chix Salad. Place was very efficient, but I hated the fact I couldn't tip the young lady @ the counter who took my order, or @ least allow a *Tip Pool* since it was another employee who served us @ the table. You get a number that stands-up & seat yourself. Anyway, they were constantly cleaning while we were there keeping everything wiped down which was appreciated. Sanitizers were available too. I wanted to try something a little different today and I was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked Chicken Salad Chick. I tried two of the twelve types of chicken salad-Olivia's Old South, with pickles and egg, and Dixie Chick, with onions. I liked 'em both. I also had a side of fresh fruit and their little tasty cookie. The food came out pretty quickly and was very good. Friendly staff. Decent value for what I received. I really enjoyed my visit to Chicken Salad Chick. This location is pretty big, but it filled up quickly at lunch time. They had a station set up where an employee told me about the different salads and allowed me to try the ones I wanted. I quickly settled on Kickin' Kay Lynne as a BLT on a croissant. You can have your salad (there are egg, pimento and other options than chicken...so I am just calling it salad) on bread, croissant, or just scooped. They had a special on the day I was there to received two sides for the price of one. I ordered a soup (it was some sort of artichoke soup that was really creamy and tasty) and pasta salad. My meal was also served with a pickle and a sugar cookie. Here are my thoughts on the individual items: -Croissant BLT with Kickin' Kay Lynne: Perfect! This sandwich was HUGE and really tasty. The lettuce did have a bit of a bad spot, but I pulled it off easily and the rest was perfect. It had a lot of bacon too which made me happy. Kickin' Kay Lynne has a little bit of heat and is really satisfying with the bacon and ranch added to the chicken salad. -Pasta salad: Meh. It was dry and definitely needed more dressing. I probably won't order again. -Soup (creamy artichoke soup): Very satisfying. It was creamy with a lot of chunks of vegetables (and it might have had chicken?) The cup they give you isn't huge, but it was perfect as a side. I would order this again for sure. -Sugar Cookie: Okay, so I do not normally eat sugar. I was surprised to see this cookie and thought it looked bland. I took a small bite (you know, for review purposes) and omg...it was delicious. I ate 3/4 of it. It is a small cookie, but really sugary and satisfying. Keep the cookies away from me please. I really loved my lunch here and I was super full afterwards. Great first impression. I was in the mood for chicken salad and I was limited on time. I googled chicken salad restaurant and found Chicken salad chicks in Seminole. I've passed it before in Palm harbor but haven't had chance to check it out. When I walked in there was a lot going on, I found out it was their grand opening so I was given a free scoop of their classic chicken salad. They have an area that you can try their chicken salad which helped with the decision making process. I'm not sure if they always have chicken salad sampling but they did today. Everyone was very nice and efficient, The cashier knew I was limited on time so she checked on my order and reassured me it was coming up. it took about 5 minutes which is a reasonable amount of time to wait. I ordered the Jalapeno chicken salad on wheat bread with fruit, and a tea. My order came to a little more than $10 which is a fair price for a sandwich, side and a drink. The chicken salad was delicious not too much mayonnaise, just right and had a nice kick of heat due to the jalapenos. The fruit was good but it some type of sweetener on it, probably a simple syrup. I would have preferred fruit without the sweetener but fruit is naturally sweet. It was good but fresh clean fruit is my preference. We ordered 110 boxed lunches including some special orders and everything was done precisely as we ordered. The ladies were all blown away how delicious the food tasted and you now how many new customers. The professional and caring manner in which Courtney sat down with us and explained everything was so appreciated and put our minds at ease. We weren't worried one bit because of the great communication and customer service provided by Courtney and her staff! Finally!!! A place solely devoted to kicking the Chick-Fil-A chicken salad sandwich's ass! I fully endorse this place and frequent it at LEAST 2x a week. There's a sample bar- like at Sam's Club but every damn day for you to try each kind of chicken salad before you order. GENIUS! You CANNOT go wrong with any selection and won't be disappointed. I swear they put crack in it and I'm shamelessly addicted. Ordering can be a smidge overwhelming & like rocket science, just like at Starbucks but well worth looking like an uneducated ass to get the sandwich. HELPFUL HINT: Know what you want ahead of time and bypass the line by cutting thru the dining room and straight to the registers. Where it gets negative reviews seems to depend on the quality (or lack thereof) of the service from the local franchisee. This location appears to have pretty good service. When you first walk in, you can consult with an employee to learn which flavor of chicken salad you want by tasting some samples. Or, you can skip that part and step right up to the counter and order your meal. I had the Classic Carol. Sophia had the Fruity Fran. I should have listened to the cashier, who recommended I upgrade to two scoops of chicken salad instead of one for an additional $2. (I came back after I ate the first scoop and asked for a second scoop for $2, which they graciously accommodated me.) Iced tea was only $1.59 and it was freshly brewed. Each meal comes with a choice of side (no chips here - just "healthy alternatives!). And also a small cookie. Overall, with the second scoop, it filled my belly. This location is very popular. I was so unbelievably disappointed with this place. First of all, I did a dumb thing and I ordered without looking at what the ingredients were in any of their chicken salads. I assumed this was a somewhat healthy place, but I was wrong. So after I order, I decided to look at the labels of the containers in the refrigerated section. The first one I picked up was for the Fancy Nancy. The ingredients seemed good, no high fructose corn syrup, no sugar... I was impressed! Then I picked up the Lemon Basil one, I noticed there was high fructose corn syrup in the mayo. I was like weird... the other one didn't... I wonder what else has it? I looked at the other labels and some said it had HFCS and some didn't. It didn't really make sense, so I asked the cashier why some of them had HFCS and some didn't and she was very confused. She called the manager over. The manager was not very caring, or helpful. I asked him why some were labeled with HFCS and why some weren't. He said he didn't know but they used "Dukes" mayo. I didn't know what that was (my boyfriend did, when I told him on the phone he was like oh, that's not high quality at all...). I told the manager I would highly recommend they label their food correctly, since people who generally avoid toxic food would be very disappointed to know they are basically liars on their labels. Okay, I didn't say that exactly. But I did recommend they should label their food correctly and the manager did not acknowledge this at all. I said I wanted a refund on my food and didn't want it. Before I had visited this restaurant, I kept thinking, "How much can you do with Chicken Salad to make a restaurant out of it?" Turns out A LOT!!! Things I LOVED: 1) You can sample the salads before you buy and the sides too!!! 2) Chewable ice!!! 3) The sugar cookies that come with your meal. 4) The atmosphere. Kid friendly, but adult friendly, too. 5) the variety of salads. Basic chicken salad to mixes like jerk spice and pineapple. 6) the quality of salads. I was worried that they would be chunky chicken and they are mostly "paste" like (smooth) and I LOVE that. Also not too mayonnaise-y. 7) If you are on a low carb diet, you can just do 2 scoops of the salad and forsake a side/bread. Things I didn't love: Hmmm. I guess if you didn't like chicken salad, egg salad or pimento salad you might be challenged to find something but then again, you probably wouldn't come to a place with "chicken salad" in its name. I tried about 5 samples and went with the Kickin' Kay Lynne and was very pleased. I didn't think it was too hot, just a bit of a kick but I like HOT spicy stuff. Last week, we tried Chicken Salad Chick (Seminole, FL). My girlfriend brought me home 3 scoops of chicken salad she thought I might enjoy. I have to admit, I do love chicken salad, but I am picky in what I like and dislike in my chicken salad. She bought the kicking, old south, and fancy Nancy. The old south had sweet pickles and eggs in it. It reminded me of the tuna salad I grew up on, which I didn't care for. It was made well, just wasn't for me. The fancy Nancy had apples, grapes, and pecans. I don't typically like sweets in my chicken salad, but this scoop was very good. The flavors were well balanced. The kicking scoop had buffalo, bacon, ranch, cheddar, and jalapenos. It was very good, but a tad salty for my liking, and I like salt. Overall, I really enjoyed sampling the different styles of chicken salad and thought they were all made well. I do look forward to getting to try other menu items in the future. I strongly do not recommend this location. The manager Angela was very passive aggressive to me as a customer . After asking about my order for 30 mims I kept being told it wasn't ready when it was sitting there the whole time. I asked to speak to a manager I started off by saying hi Angela I been waiting for a long time and she states "so has everyone else ". I said no I been here longer and she said ok . Angela was very rude and dismissive . I truly understand they were busy however a manager should be able to work under pressure and she can't! My coworkers and I always order from didn't restaurant and now this location has totally been removed. A perfect fast food alternative in Seminole! We stopped by mid day Friday for a late lunch, early dinner meal. What we missed on our way in was the sample station; I wish I would have sampled all their chicken salad options as there are many variations to choose from. You have the option of a scoop, on bread or on a crossaint. My son chose the BBQ chicken salad on toasted white bread with a side of mac n cheese. I would love to say how it tatsed, but he wouldn't even share a tiny nibble of either. He claimed both were "gas", which in teen speak means really good. My daughter chose the turkey BLT with a side of broccoli salad. She said it was the best turkey sandwich she ever had. I was lucky to steal a broccoli piece when she was deep into her turkey and it tasted wonderful. The right combo of sweet and savory. I chose a scoop of lemon basil chicken salad with a side of grape salad. Their chicken salad is perfectly made with nice chunks of premium chicken that's not drowning in mayo. The basil was prevalent!!! But the grape salad....oh my!!!!! Ripe, crisp grapes smoothered in a sweet yogurt topped with crushed pecans. Heavenly!!!! Who knew you could build a whole restaurant around chicken salad? I didn't, but now that I do, I'm a fan. It should be obvious, but if you don't like chicken salad, you're mostly going to be out of luck here. We're talking the finely chopped and tossed with mayo and other ingredients kind, not the sliced chicken on top of greens kind. However, there's actually a lot of variety, because they have a lot of different flavors! I'm partial to the lemon basil, which like the name implies includes lemon, basil and pecans. My husband usually chooses the Old South, which includes sweet pickles and hard boiled eggs. If you're feeling less traditional, I also quite like the Jalapeño Holly (with lots of jalapenos) or the Kickin Kay Lynn, which includes buffalo sauce, ranch, bacon, cheddar, jalapeños, & Sriracha. You can have a scoop with crackers or a sandwich on croissant, wheat or white bread. If you've come here for some reason while not liking chicken salad, the pimiento is quite good, too. There's a couple different side options: I like the pasta salad, my husband likes the grape salad, or you can simply get a second scoop (enough to make your own second sandwich for later!). Service can be a little bit slow, but they're always friendly. I've never had a problem with cleanliness or order accuracy. I do wish that you could get a green salad for a side, or something else on the healthy side, and it's a little on the pricy side for what you get. Wow! Really love this place such a great positive vibe for a fast lunch! I loved being able to mix the scoops and sides. The best is getting to sample all of the available flavors before you get to choose. It's such a happening place and the staff couldn't be nicer! Someone opened the door, greeted us, helped us decide on a sample flavor. After ordering and being told about "craving credits" we got to sit and the food was delivered :) We were approached by 2 different people, I think one was a manager asking us if we needed anything and then someone came and took away our finished lunch.
