Got the jumbo pepperoni, more than enough to feed 3 adults & 2 small children. Service was friendly, ambiance is comfortable. Typical pizza parlor / sports bar atmosphere. Handful of arcade games to keep kiddos entertained while waiting for pie. While it likely won't be the best pizza you've ever had, it's good. Major upgrade all the way around from previous ownership. Moved to Seaview in June and went in to take a look. After seeing the inside I left without ordering. Fast forward a year and I decided to go in after the remodel. The place looks great! Service was fantastic but that's all of the good news. I ordered a large Sore Thumb and a few sides of ranch online. At pickup I discovered that the large pizza... well it isn't very large. And my total after tip was more than $30. To make things worse, when I got home the pizza was barely warm and they forgot the ranch. Sad to say, but not a great experience. 1 star read more

Pizza was good, not the greatest pizza ever. Restaurant is disorganized. You get no direction on what to do. You don't get drinks when you pay you have to go to the drink counter. Waiting 10 mins while no one is there, not told you need table number to get drinks. Then to get a To go box cost a dollar, but if I'd ordered to go box is included. Half the areas were closed off, in sections where was open lots of dirty un-bussed tables. Place was busy but not super busy. Great place to bring a family. My husband, I, and three kiddos came in for lunch on a Sunday after a bike ride on the Discovery Trail. We ordered a half cheese, half pepperoni and a vegetarian pizza with vegan cheese. They had a great selection of beers on tap poured into ice cold glasses. The salad bar isn't bottomless, but really it shouldn't be. There is a little arcade with video games and pin ball machines. The restaurant was spacious and very clean. Pretty good place, the inside is huge and has a ton of arcade games/gumball machines. Lots of places to sit. The pizza is good, but the crust is a bit too dry. The arcade games are a little too expensive as well, but I would still recommend the place! read more

We have been coming to Long Beach for the month of August for the past twenty years. Have always enjoyed pizza and beer at Chico's several times during out visits. We went there last evening with a grou of eleven. Ordered our pizza, then went to get beer. No longer available in pitchers. Each person had to show ID to purchase a glass rod beer. We are in our 80s. What is that about? When the pizza came, the bottom of the crust over cooked that it was like cardboard. Bye bye Chico's. read more

We tried Chicos 3x. And the third will be our last. The pizza itself is mid. But on our recent order the confirmation email said ready at 7:13. Which was 30 mins after our online order for 1 large. 1 small. And deserts. My wife showed up at 7:15. They said it's not out yet. No problem. But then it didn't come out until 8:04. So about 80 minutes after ordering... for carry out. Alright they're busy, maybe someone called in sick, but at least the Order would be right? Nah, large pizza was missing a topping, and one of the deserts wasn't there. Wife asked about the desert. They said it would be 15 more minutes for that. But my nephews were already ready to eat the walls so they left. Chicos didn't offer a refund for the desert that we didn't get, or even a come back and get 2 deserts later... nothin. 2 stars because we still got a hot meal. read more

We've been to Chico's twice since they've reopened and although the inside has been freshened up, the pizza leaves a lot to be desired. The bread crust is the worst ever. It was so hard we couldn't cut it with a knife, let alone our teeth. (We had 6 pizzas.) The elders in our group ate salad but were unable to eat their one slice of pizza, and they were the ones who paid for our entire family dinner. I hope the owners will decide to change the crust recipe immediately. Everyone on the peninsula wants Chico's to be successful, but we must have a delicious soft bread pan crust but keeping it the same will only drive many of us away for good. As I observed the weathered exterior paint in bad need of a new coat of red, I said to myself, ya know, the lockdowns haven't exactly given this place the resources to paint the exterior...and besides, it's pretty hard to screw up pizza. Well...I spoke too soon. I feel like there's potential in this place. Good space, prime real estate, two giant pizza ovens (that I probably shouldn't be able to see from the ordering desk)... But from the pizza sizing pictures which show an image of an absolutely disgusting plastic pizza (just show me the pie tin size!) to the general sense that you're not going to get anything but the most basic pizza...well...that basically sets the tone. And then the pizza: 1. the pizza is all cheese and practically no sauce. They can fix it. I'm not sure what the sauce tasted like so I can't comment...since, as I said, all cheese. 2. Who sprinkles cheddar freaking cheese on a pizza! It's not a hamburger. The cheddar and mozzarella totally clash and leave me tasting grease more than cheese. And again, no sauce to negotiate between the cheese. 3. The pepperoni ought to be crisp. But it's not--it's cooked on the top side and not on the bottom side giving the pepperoni this disgustingly soft, slimy texture. Use smaller pepperonis or up the heat on the oven. Or get thinner sliced pepperoni. What you have is awful. 4. The crust on the other hand I thought was good. It's a crunchy style crust and it was cooked to perfection and it actually had a decent flavor to it. So I did not have a satisfying pizza. I normally can eat half a pie but I was done after 2 slices. Couldn't take any more. There's so much more (like being forced to buy bottled water because of covid and then to watch the table across from us get pitcher after pitcher of water served to their table. read more

Always been a fan of this place. Used to come here 10 years ago after slow pitch tournaments so i had to take my gf during this 4th of July holiday weekend. Just as I remembered the crust is cooked phenomenally. Toppings were delicious w/ plenty of sauce & cheese to complete their masterpiece pizza. Cashier was very polite and helpful w/ recommendations. This is one great pizza parlor! Everything is superb. As a person who can't stomach saucy pizza, Chico's is the only place I never have to say light on the sauce. The toppings are full, the sauce level is perfect, and the crust isn't too thick and not too thin. It is perfectly perfect! The taste is divine. The parlor is spacious and has a feel of the 80s or 90s dine-in restaurants. Lots of tables and seats with lovers' scribbled names, or "I was here." Etc.... Reminds me of 90s high school days. This is a very family friendly pizza parlor that can accommodate large groups. Stepping foot inside Chico's is a bit like stepping back in time as the interior is a throwback to the pizza joints of the 1980s, complete with period video games. The picnic style tables are carved and etched with the names of visitors probably dating back to Chico's inception. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly; ordering is easy. As for the pie....well, it was just ok. The mushrooms on my veggie pizza were from a can. Canned mushrooms are full of water and zilch flavor. A pizza parlor that does things like this is more interested in convenience rather than flavor and that did bear out in the pizza, however the pepperoni was a bit better. All the pizzas at our table were on the wrong side of done as well. Your best bet might be to keep things simple when deciding what to order. Stick with basic cheese & pepperoni for your best chance at success. If you aren't super picky and have a good sized group, by all means consider Chico's for your pizza needs, because it does check off most of the boxes, but there are better pizzas to be had in the area. read more

Love the old school style of pizza. It's easily the best pizza in this small town. However, I do have a couple complaints. First, Chico's always closes the salad bar an hour or two before closure. Second, the water tastes moldy and dirty, the hoses need to be cleaned ASAP. Third, there is only a few friendly employees there. BUT the place is for sale. To the person who buys the place; Keep the recipe, look more uniform and maybe add some things to entice people to come in and enjoy it! read more

Literally dime store pizza, poor service. Don't bother. Money better spent on a frozen grocery store pizza. One star only because zero is not an option. I read food reviews and live locally in Seaview. Look forward to Seriously Pizza to open here in Ilwaco in March. Somebody has to have a good local pie. read more
