The two people working there were nice. I ordered two jumbo pizzas to make the trip back to Seattle area. They traveled well and were very tasty that evening (and a few more evenings to come). The crust was perfectly cooked on the deli pizza and a vegetarian with no cheese. I make this point because those two pizzas require very different cooking from each other. I am a little confused on the rates number of dollar signs. I don't see how it's range is $$-$$$. The jumbo deli is $34 but it will feed 5 very hungry guys. So $7 per person in my opinion would be one dollar sign ($)! Yes the pizzas tasted great, crust was firm, right amount of toppings. Their sauce has a unique nice flavor. Very tasty. While I have not been there when it's busy, my experience contradicts other less positive reviews. And I suppose if 5 hungry guys ordered a jumbo veggie they'd still be very hungry so maybe the apparent cost is variable depending on the pizza ordered. Good pizza with a crisp and airy crust and plenty of quality toppings and good sauce. The place seems to be family ran. The older gentleman was very peppy and happy to help with a smile on his face. They seemed very busy in back with a constant flow of customers coming in and phone orders. The restaurant it's fairly large with lots of seating. My only negative was that the ordering was a bit odd....there is a long counter in the back of the restaurant that you order from. You order and pay for your pizzas on your left...but then have to walk down to the right counter, where no one is at, to order a pitcher of beer... So you have to wait until they aren't busy taking pizza ordered for someone to walk to the other side of the restaurant just to order beer..which is rang up separately...like I said..it was odd but it won't keep us away we will definitely be back the next time we are in town. read more

This place isn't horrible, but you can clearly see(in the cooler behind salad bar) the dough is precooked and cut, mushrooms are canned(staff stated they're better then fresh) lol, employee had his rubber gloves on while texting, adjusting his clothes and hat, wine in cooler has been re-corked (who knows how long) I love watching Robert Irvines "Restaurant Impossible" it opens your eyes to how owners and employees don't care for the food. Chico's is the classic pizza parlor! There are big, long red checkered tables, lots of booths, video and arcade games, a big TV... They've got it all! We stopped in for lunch so I got the lunch special. It included a 2 topping personal pizza, small bowl for the salad bar and fountain soda for only $6.95. It was perfect! The pizza had a nice full but not really deep dish crust. Cheese seemed fresh and tasty. The salad bar had a surprising amount of options. After all the junk food I'd eaten all weekend, fresh veggies tasted awesome. They also have take-n-bake options if you're in town on vacation and have a place to cook up a delicious pizza. read more

Pizza was terrible. Canned mushrooms, burnt black spots on the bottom, tasted like a frozen pizza. Came out super fast because of cracker thin crust. The salad bar was decent, although there were no radishes, olives, mushrooms or tomatoes in it. On the plus side it is a large place good for groups and kids. I just will never eat pizza there again. We ate here again, and it was just as good as the first time, back on 7/21/17! This time we ordered a 14-inch vegetarian pizza but with sausage on it. It was super delicious. The only bad thing was the price. It was $30 plus tip. That seems mighty expensive for a 14-inch pizza. Not sure if the prices have gone up since last year or what, cuz we only paid $27 plus tip last time for a large pizza with more toppings. This place is just awful. 1st off I wish they delivered because I regret seeing the inside. It's really run down. As for the pizza...for $30.00 you'd hope they'd use fresh ingredients. The mushrooms were from a can. The sausage was a gross yellowish color, but who knows that could be because of all the shredded cheddar cheese they put on top. We got really excited when we saw Chico's Pizza Parlor in Seaview as we've been long time customers at the Moses Lake location (they use to be part of a franchise many years ago) anyhow we headed in excited to order our favorite jumbo sized pizza topped with pepperoni, Canadian bacon, breakfast bacon, pineapple, shrimp & black olives. Now, it's normal to sit & wait but when they started calling numbers 10+ ahead of ours we started to wonder & then it happened ours is ready. We found out that our 1st pizza had been "eaten by the oven" thus the extended wait. Well it's on the table & in our tummies. Good pizza with a great cornmeal crust but it lacked the mound of toppings we've come to expect & paid $33 for. We'll be back. We'll just order double toppings the next time. read more

This place is full of liars. I called and confirmed they would take a pizza order until 930. When I called back at 920 they refused to take my order stating they had been closed for an hour. Their hours on yelp and other Web sources confirm they are open until 10 so I was being polite ensuring the order was placed in time to get them out of there by close. When I explained the situation politely I was told I was being rude and then the lady hung up on me. Sadly this sort of behavior seems to be prevalent in this town and things would be much better if they went out of business and we're replaced by a domino's or a pizza hut. read more

Chico's doesn't do the basics. Water, cups, soap in the bathroom, knives, all infuriatingly missing. My kids were mildly dehydrated after a day at the beach. Brazenly, I asked for water. The soda machine water switch broken, they urged me to buy bottled water. Just tap water, please. No came the reply. Could you just put out a pitcher? No. Could you fill up a glass with the sink (right next to you)? No. Can I have a cup to get water from the bathroom? No. No soap in the bathroom. No knives or implement to help cut the pizza. I would suggest avoiding this place. Europe, with its long history of serving expensive carbonated water, passed into law the right to tap water. California, in their drought, allowed for tap water. Don't. Just don't. No matter how badly you think you want a pizza, just not here. When you walk in it SEEMS like a bona fide pizza parlor - and it is - in every way except the pizza. The crust is thick and as unlike a good, yeasty pizza dough as a bagel. The sauce is bland and clearly out of a can, and the toppings? You don't GET pepperoni - you get salami. Honest. The sausage is bulk - unseasoned fat balls.......I can't even go on. My wife and I have been on a pizza kick lately, and with our hectic work schedules, we decided to get out of town and look for a new (to us) pizza place. A good friend of mine suggested Chico's and said they have been around since he was a kid. A family owned restaurant that has been around for 40+ years? Exactly what I like to see. The inside probably looks much like it did when it opened, and looking at the graffiti covered tables that have likely been there since they opened made me smile. Surprisingly enough, I was surprised to not see the table tops covered with obscenities or vulgar drawings or etchings (a lot of carvings in the tops). It just surprised me. I grew up eating thin crust pizzas with a crispy bottom and that was exactly what we got here. The crust was perfect, and unpretentious. Chico's does not try to be artisan, New York, Chicago, Neapolitan, or anything else. Chico's is Chico's. Nice, thin crispy crust, sauce with a zing, and toppings to the edge. It really took me back to my childhood. Sure, there might be "better" pizza out there, but definitely not in this part of Washington. It was just good pizza, good service, and friendly staff. My years as a Chef always leads me into great conversations with the staff everywhere I go, and being able to talk to the owner was a pleasure. With this kind of place, people need to stop and realize that they are NOT in the city, and people DO things a little differently. You want snobby, snappy service? Stay in the city.
