LOVEEEEE CHIDOS DOWN. Amigos just shut down so me and my sister went to Chido's. Super busy of course because everyone had the same idea we did but we were seated in literally 6 mins! Drinks super strong, tacos super good as always. I ordered tres leches to go, forgot it on the table and went on a walk around the lake. I came back and they literally give me a fresh one. Chidos will always have my heart!!

This is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants and when I used to live in Laurel, I would go here regularly. The food and the vibes are always on 1000 and they throw one of the best Cinco de Mayo events in Maryland. On this particular day, I had a light meal, but it was so delicious and the bartenders, because I sat in the bar area, were so sweet and attentive. I wouldn't change a thing about this place and make sure you check out the entire menu because everything is delicious.

Apparently I'm new to the fact that Chido's has the vibes. I met up with some friends on a Saturday, and the place was packed. We had to wait about 30 min for a table, but it wasn't too bad after that. We shared a Frozen blackberry and regular Margarita pitcher which was surprisingly strong considering it was being split between 4 people (suggestion: you only need 1)! The frozen blackberry was definitely a hit! For dinner we had Salmon en Salsa Caribe and Carne Asada, while friends had Chicken Quesadilla & Ceviche - only complaint being the ceviche did not come with chips or something to scoop with. Everything was delicious and well-seasoned. The Salmon is def a fave and something to look forward to on a return visit. Overall the atmosphere is very lively, a great place to watch the games/fights or share a pitcher with friends

I went here on 2 separate occasions. The first time Melanie took care of us. And she has the absolute best customer service I have had in a long time. She was very thorough and patient. The mariachi band playing for a party was nice music. The music overall was great. Food was great as well we got full off the free chips and salsa. The second time I came back I had another server but they were still very nice. The food was so good but again I got full on the chips and salsa haha.

Here for a birthday celebration! We had a reservation and we were seated when most of our party arrived. We had a large party of maybe 20 people. We were seated outside. We ordered drinks and we ordered the tower with premium liquor. I want to say maybe 4 of us shared it and we at least got 2 cups out of it. I also had a frozen margarita. It was good and it's a creeper. It was sweet and you forget it's alcohol in it. Now let's get to the food! I ordered Carne Asada fajitas. They were so good the meat you could cut with a butter knife. It was seasoned to perfection. I literally tried everyone's food and everything was amazing. I will definitely come back and try different things. I want to try the fish. Can't wait to come back!

As soon as you park in the lot you can smell the food. This place was pretty spacious and it was busy, but the service was really good. We were served chips and salsa as soon as we sat down. It was pretty good. For drinks we had the sangria and a pina colada. They were both really good but the pina colada was my favorite. For entres we had the carne asada and the mar y Tierra. Both came with rice and beans and tortillas. Everything was delicious! The beans were really good and the flour tortillas seem homemade and a great pairing with the meal. Overall food was flavorful and delicious, service was excellent.

Oh this place was an absolute treat! I'm a sucker for Tex-mex and authentic Mexican food, so this place was perfect. The Shredded chicken taco salad was exactly what I needed. Perfect ingredients and the shell was fried perfectly. Our server did well considering it was 12 of us. We sat on the patio and although there was a lot of people, we were sitting on top of each other. Love the virgin and alcoholic Mango margarita

Went here for happy hour with some great friends. The ambiance is warm, and festive. There is a large bar with comfortable seats. The happy hour menu is small but powerful. The 5 dollar margarita made me wonder if they knew they were giving money away. I mean that one frozen margarita (strawberry) was delicious and strong. The bartender kept the addictive chips and salsa coming and I ordered the flautas which took me back in time. They were delicious and I offered none to my friends lol Will be back for sure

This place is a really spacious and a cozy location. Parking is ample and the food and vibe was great. I enjoyed the Lomo Saltado and salad, we were there to meet some friends and the environment was just right for a great conversation without any loud background noises. There was a birthday gathering that had the employees banging on loud pots and pans which was similar to a mariachi, but not quite as nice, a real mariachi singer and instruments would have been really good. I enjoyed the tender beef and sauce in the Lomo Saltado alot, would definitely be back to try some other goodies!

Chidos, Chidos, Chidos, an all time FAVORITE! I've been a loyal customer to Chidos for a few years now and can say 11/29/25 was my first time trying their brunch out. My mom and I decided to go and we can surely say we were NOT disappointed! The food had a great flavor to them, service was quick and easy, and the ambiance of the bar area, where we always sit at, is such a vibe and a fun time. I love being able to become personable with the bartenders and it's so fun connecting with them! Everything was so great and I can't wait to go back for their brunch again! Reasonable prices as well, 10/10!

Ambiance... it definitely checks all the boxes for Tex-Mex, very nice decor, etc. it was toasty in the restaurant, I found myself sweating and ready to get to air. Mints to go were delicious! Service.... Very kind, friendly waitstaff and hostess... no concerns there Drinks.... No concerns there, we had a strawberry and mango margarita and they were very good, I could've ordered more Food.... I was very disappointed with the Fish tacos... they contained salmon but the salmon was not seasoned at all and the plate was very "wet" lots of juices all over and it made the plate look really gross in my opinion and I didn't like the juice that was all over the plate very messy! ( I must add they did not charge me for the tacos because I did not like them)... pic has one missing where I tried to enjoy, but couldn't. Steak and Eggs (brunch item).... Very small steak it was flank steak, eggs were made order but unseasoned. Overall 3/5 for steak and eggs. Overall... I would come again for drinks if in the area and chips and salsa, but not for food and definitely would not travel here again to try anything else. Although this does not concern me, a gentleman who sat behind me dropped $20 and the waitress was standing there picked it up when he walked past and ran to another employee to share and then she put in her pocket.

I wasn't originally planning to get food but could not help myself when I saw they had a Chicago style hotdog. It was tasty despite being a bit of a mess to eat with the topping piled high. It comes with a side of kettle cooked chips that somehow managed to be just as good, maybe even better than the hot dog. The bartenders were pleasant and efficient with checking in on us and clearing plates as needed.

I tried to order ahead on the app, but for the life of me, I couldn't find the side salad. I don't know if it was the app or my eyes, but I ended up having to double-park and literally run inside to place the order. The line of people waiting to get seated was ridiculous, it was completely packed. The hostess told me it would be about 25 minutes. Knowing how busy it was, I came back in 30, and it took another 10 minutes to be ready. Honestly, with that crowd, it was completely fine and understandable. We got it home and everything was good. It's consistent, nothing to necessarily write home about, but exactly what we wanted. The wings are definitely better fresh in the restaurant; the plastic to-go containers make them lose that crispy hit, but popping them in for a couple of minutes at home brings the texture right back. You do get maybe two fewer wingettes here than their competitor chain, and I might slightly prefer the competitor's base wing flavor, but LongHorn has this buffalo sauce that hits. I was able to pour it all over my wings and still had some for dipping, which was a huge plus. The side salad was decent, and I absolutely love their white balsamic vinaigrette and the honey mustard, I just bounce between the two depending on my mood. Overall, a quality, consistent experience. I can't complain and would definitely order this again!

Today, I gave them another shot because Uber Eats was offering a buy one, get one free deal on the jerk chicken meal. I chose rice & peas with plantain for my sides. The chicken was cooked on the grill--which I love--because it really brings out the flavor in jerk chicken. I also requested my jerk sauce on the side since I prefer a dry rub style over a saucy one. The only drawback was the small bone pieces in the chicken and rice. That's something to be cautious about, especially if a child is eating the meal. The plantains were also inconsistent--some pieces were hard, while others were mushy. On the bright side, the coco bread was perfect and the Jamaican rum cake was phenomenal. Whoever baked that cake clearly took their time soaking it in rum. It reminded me of the way my grandmother used to make it--absolutely delicious. I would definitely order the rum cake again.

Usually with brunch we would do the bottomless mimosas and all but because I was driving I decided not to participate in that. And usually I would get chicken and waffles but I was in the mood for a burger. So I thought because their name is "Mad Cow" the burger would be the bomb...but nope it was not good at all. No blue cheese that I paid extra for and the burger was not cooked correctly it was cooked well done. Smdh. So the waiter brought me my blue cheese apologized about it and also gave me a mayo bottle. Even with the burger still was not good and the patty was so thick with no flavor not even salt and pepper was in it!! Make sure you don't get too tipsy as they already have like a 20% gratuity added on each of our checks no matter how small or big your group is which again is ridiculous! We ordered the calamari, fajitas, and enchiladas, and all of the entrees were delicious. My favorite was definitely the calamari. It was lightly battered, perfectly crispy, and I loved that the dipping sauce was served warm it paired so well. The only downside was that the shrimp in the fajitas still had the shells on, which was pretty surprising when I took a bite. It also feels very crowded inside, which makes the space less comfortable. The booth seating could use some improvement as well, the tables are too high while the chairs are too low, making it uncomfortable to sit and enjoy a meal. Their complimentary chips and salsa were the best we've had so far. The salsa tasted fresh, authentic, and full of flavor. The atmosphere was lively, service was genuinely great, and everything came out quickly. Staff was attentive, drinks arrived fast, and the guacamole was outstanding. That's where the positives end. ASK FOR THE PRICES. As I mentioned, I expected a normal Mexican restaurant experience and didn't think twice before ordering. Big mistake. The menu is extremely deceptive because many prices are not clearly listed. I ordered the Cantarito Mundial (a clay cup-style Mexican Paloma with Don Julio), my wife ordered a michelada, and we also ordered another World Cup special drink for a friend since we were celebrating a birthday. Food-wise, the pulpo al fuego was disappointing. The octopus was overcooked, rubbery, and lacked flavor. My wife's drink was also underwhelming. Then the bill came. For just my wife and me: almost $300. I expected the octopus to be expensive at $65! that part didn't shock me. But the drinks? Completely different story. The Cantarito Mundial was $60. Yes, sixty dollars for one drink. The soccer boot slushie drink was $45. Those prices would maybe make sense if the food and drinks were exceptional, but they weren't. Mediocre food at luxury pricing. I walked out feeling stunned and honestly deceived. Not because it was expensive, but because the pricing wasn't transparent and I never expected drinks to cost that much without clear disclosure. It left a really bad feeling after what was supposed to be a birthday celebration. The guacamole was excellent... but unfortunately I don't even know what it cost because it ended up on someone else's tab. If you go here: ask for prices before ordering. Don't assume.

Street parking is free, though it's important to check the posted restrictions, and there is also a small public lot just a short walk away. Our group of 11 had a smooth and pleasant evening. Our server was relatively new but handled the large party with confidence, including separate checks, which we appreciated. She was still learning the menu, but she offered honest recommendations based on dishes she had tried herself. The food was well received across the table. The kitchen gladly accommodated two guests with dietary restrictions, and that flexibility was greatly appreciated. I ordered the Lamb Shawarma, which had tender meat and a wonderful blend of Mediterranean spices. The empty plates around the table said it all. Dessert was the highlight of the meal. The chocolate mousse cake and the layered almond-lemon cake were both rich, flavorful, and a perfect finish. With generous hospitality, accommodating service, reasonable prices, and a menu I'd like to explore further, Olive on Main is definitely a place I'd return to.

My schedule was rearranged last minute on a Saturday so I decided to catch their brunch. The laurel location was the closest to me. I was able to reserve a spot at the bar on open table about an hour before arrival . It must have been a lucky day for me because there were plenty vacancies and I didn't need to make a reservation. There was live jazz playing. I sat at the bar - shout out to Nnamdi who was the bartender and my waiter. Food wise: brunch only offers the $55 unlimited food option for two hours. I was completely fine with this as I was able to taste multiple dishes. I had the fried deviled eggs, Rockefeller oysters, bang bang shrimp, deep fried snow crab legs, pork chop and grits, wings in hot honey lemon pepper (their signature sauce) and the white chocolate bread pudding I enjoyed everything except the deep fried crab legs. The cluster was hallow. I had more fried batter than crab meat. Deviled eggs were my favorite of all the things I tried. And the bread pudding was sinfully delicious . I wasn't able to finish my last two items ordered but luckily I was able to fit it in the to-go box. Most places that serve unlimited food don't allow to-go boxes so I was happy to not have my leftovers go to waste. I opted for the bottomless cocktails as well. I stuck to the mimosas and tried the different flavors. The pours were generous. Nnamdi was very attentive and I appreciate him answering all of my clarifying questions as it was my first time. Gratuity is included! I am excited to go back! Before leaving I ordered a cocktail (MisKiri IX) that wasn't included in the bottomless cocktails. It was good. A little too sweet for me but glad I tried it.

She said"the kitchen" messed up packing my order but instead of sending it back, she "fixed it". Honestly it seemed like she was trying to get me my food on time, but management should have been called to solve this problem and ensure I didnt leave the restaurant with collard greens missing all their juices. I didnt know what exactly happened with tje packaging, so since I was told the problem was "fixed", I took my food and left. The worst part was the deviled egg appetizer. Another casualty of the kitchen, apparently. It looked unappetizing when I got home and opened it, and the crab topping that I paid an extra $3 for gave off a very strong smell (reminiscent of the kitchen of a seafood restaurent) and also appeared wet. I'd guess they took crab straight from a can, put it on top of the eggs, and covered it with old bay seasoning. Very disappointing. Sadly these were not the only issues, as the collard greens themselves were bland and a little tough. There was also a wooden stick in my greens?? Not sure why. Although the catfish was fried well, that's the only satisfactory thing about this experience, and everything else ruined it.
