This place is located inside of Legacy Hall but had a very long line. That led me to believe that it was going to be pretty good but I was slightly disappointed. I believe that they were rushing because it was so busy. However, we ordered 1 chicken taco, 3 birria tacos, elotes, chips and queso. The flavor of the chicken taco was good, but I could tell that it had just been thrown together. The tortilla was broken up. The elotes just tasted like a cup of extra buttery super sweet corn. I was born in Mexico and grew up there. Since being in the DFW area, I haven't found barbacoa tacos that actually taste like the ones in Mexico. Today, I found a gem! I have been to this place several times and the food is usually good as always. The are a lot of variety in the tacos but I think there should be somewhat more variety like lengua, tripas, cabeza, ojo , or even sesos. The nachos are pretty good since it helps to keep you full for hours . The birria is great but the thing is that it's only offered on weekends.The service is great, the manager is so chill since I know him and so do I know the workers. I always get my food out within 2 minutes. I think that the prices are pretty reasonable and fair because of the quality.I think that this place is good and a lot of people should go more often not just for food but also for other things like the atmosphere and the drinks or desserts. I was so happy when this location opened upbat Legacy Hall! It is much closer than their other location! The wall with the "Al Pastor mi Amor" neon sign and all of the " tacos" painted on is such a cute photo op and it really adds to the experience eating here. I should mention they got my order out incredibly fast and I love getting my food quickly! Always such a happy surprise! I ordered a Barbacoa Taco, Al Pastor taco, and a cup of elotes! Was pretty excited to try this place in Legacy hall! To start it's a little pricy for tacos I would say. But price aside the tacos and elote we got were yummy! We got the Al Pastor Taco, Carne Asada Taco, Trompo Tacos, and Elote. All of them were freshly made and the elote was delicious! Nothing totally out of the park in my opinion though. The green sauce didn't have enough of a kick as I would have liked, but it wasn't bad. Overall, if I was in the area again I would love to try the birria tacos! read more

The salsa that accompanied the tacos were a perfect addition with their taste and spice levels. Personally I am very critical when it comes to a locations corn. This location offered me a corn in the cup and they had everything I looked for in a good serving of corn. The right cheeses, butter, mayo, and right spices. They had everything I needed as if I built it myself. However be aware that they make their corn pretty spicy. If you love spicy corn like me then this is perfect for you! But if you're not a fan of too much spice then request no spice or less of it. I ordered about 12 tacos and my oldest wanted flour tortilla, I forgot to mentioned that to her . I already paid and tipped! Our Ordered was not made yet . So I quickly said sorry can you make 4 of those flour , she sighed and gave an attitude and in Spanish said something smart to the cook . But little did she know I speak/ understand Spanish . I like this place, especially their speciality mango drink! They're street tacos and you can do some add ons to spice them up (add cheese, grilled onions, you get the gist). I've gotten the pastor and brisket tacos and I liked both. I could not believe my eyes when i saw that Chilango's was at Legacy Hall. I have only had the pleasure of trying them once before at their main location on Harry Hines and they were so damn good! The Elotes is outstanding, one of the better that i have had and the portion is large! When you enter the Hall door closest to the parking garage, then Chilango's is immediately to your right on the first floor. Staff was wearing masks and gloves. The gentleman behind the counter was very pleasant and welcoming. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes and on my way to devour some tacos. I did notice that the prices are slightly increased here compared to the other location, by about $2 so just a heads up on that. They have pretty much all the same items such as the Las Costras, and they will also have Birria on Saturday and Sunday! Sooo happy to have another top notch taco spot so close to home read more
