Tried this place in search of a good street taco. This taco place is located inside the gas station. I tried the chicken tacos- with a side of rice and beans . The rice tasted a little too watery for my liking and the beans are salty. I would revisit to try the breakfast tacos. read more

This place is a hole in the wall but not to be judged for the location! It's inside a gas station but it's quite clean. The pupusas are really good. I got a pastor taco which was just okay. The flavor was fine but I wasn't the biggest fan of the texture of the meat it tasted a bit more like ground meat, grainy as opposed to big chunks of pork that I prefer for my pastor. I'll start with, I had a weird experience and wanted to not like it so I wouldn't go back. I have to say though, their food was good. That weird experience...I walked in, waited while the customer before me finished ordering then stepped up. It was already weird. The lady stared at me and didn't say anything. I went ahead and started ordering anyways to which she flatly echoed back and wrote down. When receiving my order, I asked if I could get a container for the curtido to go with my pupusas. She replied that it already included some. I'm pretty particular about eating curtido with my pupusa and appreciate a well balanced ratio. I went ahead and checked my order and decided I wanted more curtido. I borrowed the tongs from the neighboring table and added more to my to go box from the complimentary ones sitting on the table. I finish, turn around, and that lady is inches from my face. She asked if everything was okay to which I replied yes. It was very uncomfortable. I probably won't be back despite the good food. This restaurant was in the back of a gas station. There was a small seating area. I went there in the afternoon and there was about a 15 minute wait to get food. I was greeted when I was looking at the menu. I ordered Takeout for 2 Pollo Tacos and 3 Pupusas (Jalapeño con Queso, Frijoles con Queso, and Queso). The tacos were pretty big portions for the price I made. I was given cilantro, onions, lime, and radishes. They also provided a green sauce (I assume avocado crema) that gave a little bit of kick to the taco. It was quite good! The pupusas were warm and hearty. It seemed cooked throughout and the for the price, it was quite good. They gave a serving of red and green sauce, which complemented the pupusas. They also provided a small portion of pickled vegetables that were delicious. I definitely recommend you try this place out! read more

The papusa was doughy and the meat was some weird minced paste. The burrito has virtually no meat in it. I had carne asada and it had essentially the same amount of meat as one single taco in a burrito the size of two fists. So all I ended up with was rice and beans burrito. read more

I actually found this place through Google then came to Yelp to see the reviews. What a wonderful place. It's not really a dining in place per se but it's some good food if you want to take something unique home. The girls that work there were so sweet and the food is amazing. I think my choice of food had an impact on the score. I had two pupusas. I guess when making these the amount of ingredients is limited. I think there may have been a language barrier as well. I saw a couple of them that had up to five ingredients. There were limited amount of meats that you can put inside. The only thing they had was pork that you could put inside this. It was kind of like a stuffed pancake essentially I had one with jalapenos and cheese, the other one had beans pork and cheese. They served a type of coleslaw on the side along with salsa. I had asked for Pico and sour cream, but got this instead. The freshness of the ingredients was top notch. I will give them that. And not out of a plastic bag or jar. All the ingredients were fresh. The coleslaw was nothing like I had ever tasted. It was quite good and meshed well with the main entree. I think if I could have had other ingredients inside it would have been a little better. Everything was made to order and piping hot when it was served to you. The quesadillas that other people were getting looked full and fresh. I was trying to think outside of the box and have something different that I don't normally get from a Mexican taco joint. Next time I think I may try gorditas or something else.
