The place is clean. The waitress very pleasant smile welcoming her name is Miriam. She brought a little taste of the Guisada and soup. To me that action pleasing customer request is a plus. All the plates looks delicious. My Guisada and asada exelente flavors and tender. Only one thing if you want their caldo better be early!!

I've been seeing this place for a while now but never stopped in...we finally did... & I'm glad we did! The best shredded chicken sour cream enchiladas ever! My daughter got the cheese enchiladas.. they weren't the best but they were good. The ladies working were super welcoming and sweet... the place is clean & the ambiance is relaxing. We will definitely be back!

Migas plate. My son liked it so much we came back just a week later!

This place was available and open and we were hungry We didn't want to stand in line next door at the original place we going to and when we looked around we saw this mom and pop shop and preferred to go here. It's your basic breakfast menu but you can choose breakfast tacos Very good selection of about 34 breakfast tacos to choose from The coffee was very good. Got a second cup. Lots of flavor. The orange juice we ordered came in a bottle but had no expiration date so we were a little concerned. I got up and looked at the juice in the glass refrigerator and noticed with the better lighting the expiration date is on the bottle just very faint so I feel better to consume the juice

Like many reviewers before me, my parents and I trickled in here when we didn't feel like waiting 40 minutes at Pancake Joe's. This joint was more to their liking anyway. Your standard Mexican restaurant in San Antonio with decent food. My parents were very satisfied here. Given they're from Brownsville, their palette for good Mexican food is harder to please. The mugs for their coffee are bizarre. More ended up in my cleavage than my mouth, but they were kind enough to give me a styrofoam cup for my second fill up. Also, I am not graceful. The menudo was top notch. I'm not big on the honeycomb cut, so to my delight they made it using the other cut. It had the right amount of spice to make my nose run. My sinuses really needed that! Some of the meat was a cut too large though. Fortunately it was tender enough to cut with my spoon. (That's how you know it's good) I probably wouldn't swing by on my own here as a first choice restaurant. Good Mexican food places here are a dime a dozen and also there are spots in my neighborhood. But this was a good alternative to our original choice.

Delicious huevos rancheros breakfast. Great coffee and as always great service. Always delicious!

Always delicious. Great service and nice atmosphere. This is a perfect neighborhood restaurant for breakfast or lunch. They make all your family favorites plus a few more. Tortilla soup is one of the best and their menudo reminds me of my moms. The owners are amazing and hospitable. You will have a great dining experience at our very favorite neighborhood restaurant.

Highly recommend this place if you're craving or even not craving some damn good Mexican food! With a wait time of 1-2 hours for other restaurants nearby we popped in to see what the menu had and decided to give it a try. The staff here is super friendly and attentive to their guests which makes for a great dining experience, the lemonade is freshly made in house and the food was some of the best I've had and I will for sure be returning! On a side note, I'm really glad I found this locally owned gem and I encourage you to give it a try!

Visited by chance, and loved it! We originally wanted to visit Pancake Joe's for some of their famous pancakes. However, the wait was at least 40 minutes long and the line was out the door. Since it was 97 degrees outside, we decided not to wait, so we ventured into the Mejican (not misspelled) restaurant next door. It's a nice local restaurant that is not fancy. We enjoyed the breakfast plates and tacos. We'll definitely return when we visit San Antonio again. I forgot to mention, they only open for breakfast and lunch, closing around 2-3pm each day. Check my photos for daily hours.

This small jewel was discovered purely by chance. We were actually going to the restaurant literally next door, but they had a line with what seemed like an outrageous wait time. When we started to look for something else, I realize the this place was the very next door. This is a small family owned Mexican restaurant with excellent food, very attentive wait staff who work together to assure the customers are happy and cared for. The restaurant isn't the prettiest, but it is clean and comfortable. The restrooms are clean, and when you walk by the kitchen it looks extremely clean. The food is really good and all cooked from scratch, even the chips and flour tortillas. Awesome job ladies.

The food is beyond delicious!! Tortillas are made perfectly. I ordered huevos rancheros special and the amount of food for the price, I felt was CRAZY GOOD. Mon-Fri they have a $2.99 special. I came in early in the AM and got it. The plate was full and oh so good!!!! The coffee was delicious as well! I've been on the hunt for the best huevos rancheros here in SA and i believe I found it!

    Torta de Asada

Fantastic place to get a great bite to eat! Stopped by with friends and will definitely be back. The customer service was just as good as the food and you can't beat those fresh made corn tortillas! Definitely make a stop here, you won't regret it.

Chicken tortilla soup and strawberry/chocolate waffle (the waffle was complimentary since it was our first time there).

This place was so delicious and service was great. They even gave us a complimentary waffle because it was our first time there! Definitely coming back.

I'm not a big fan of chorizo, but I do seek out unique variations of eggs benedict, and this one fit the bill, so I went for it. The flavor combination was perfect, and I wasn't overwhelmed with chorizo. If you like eggs benny, give this variation a try. You won't be sorry! The refried beans - I know it's silly to review beans, but these were a bit different than the normal ones we find in SA. They had a bit more texture, unlike the overly blended beans we're used to. Chef's Kiss goes out to these beans! The potatoes - we weren't sure what the seasoning was, but we think it was adobo. Whatever the seasoning is, it puts them over the top as far as breakfast potatoes are concerned. Good stuff! Just a couple of notes: We didn't get tortillas with our breakfast. It might have been an oversight, or our meals didn't come with them. Not sure. The service was great, but depending on the server you get, you might need to know some Spanish. I give them 5 solid stars for breakfast.

From the moment I walked in, I could tell this place was special. The atmosphere is beautiful, upscale, and inviting. The architecture and design throughout the restaurant are absolutely stunning. Even the restrooms were impressive and reflected the same attention to detail found throughout the entire establishment. The food was outstanding. Every dish was beautifully presented and packed with flavor. This isn't your typical restaurant experience--the menu is creative, unique, and offers something different. You can tell a lot of thought goes into both the preparation and presentation of every plate. What really made the experience unforgettable, though, was the customer service. My waitress, Kreizon, was absolutely amazing. She was friendly, attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely made me feel welcome throughout my visit. Great service can make a good meal even better, and she definitely elevated the entire experience. The outdoor dining area is also beautiful and creates a relaxing atmosphere that's perfect for enjoying a meal and taking in the surroundings. If you're looking for a restaurant that offers exceptional food, incredible ambiance, unique architecture, and top-notch customer service, Domingo is a must-visit. This is more than just dinner--it's an experience. Highly recommended, and I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in San Antonio.

Electronic dance music pulsed quietly in the background. The toilets were all individual unisex stalls that were classy, mine had run out of hand towels. Also, the entire restaurant is very dimly lit. I had to use the flashlight on my phone to read the menu, but I have poor eyesight so there's that, but it might explain the quality of the photos I took. The Paloma drink was amazing. It had a great spicy zing in the back of the throat after every sip. Queso was... kinda plain. It might have been better with the add chorizo option. It was very thick. Shrimp cocktail was big, but we started fighting over the shrimp pieces. There was plenty of onion and tomato left over after the batttle. Pollo Asado was a great flavor and the chicken was juicy. Grilled squash that was on the side was good. Chicken enchiladas were good and had freshly sliced jalapeños, which is always a welcome detail. I wasn't able to taste the quesadilla but my daoughter said it was "really good". Fried Chicken sandwich had a great flavor and the bacon was actually pork belly if I'm not mistaken. Sadly there was more batter than chicken. The seasoned fries were delicious and crispy.

We sat on the back patio for dinner on a day when it was 100 degrees out and there were fans all over to help keep the air flowing, which helped immensely. They have some interesting cocktails, such as their jalapeño cucumber margarita which is made with ghost pepper infused tequila. Their salsa tray is nice too, they have 4 to select from and you get three in this appetizer, but we ordered the 4th as well and all were pretty nicely done. The verde was amazing and the roasted tomato was great, just not spicy at all. I tried their combo fajitas and was thankful they came out being simply plated, rather than on the blazing hot, sizzling skillet - I don't need the show, just the good eats. The meats were decent, the beans were amazing. The tortillas were just ok, as I felt like they were way too thick. They offered corn tortillas too, but I'm in Texas, so you get flour, not corn. Save room for dessert, they have amazing churros! Overall, this was a decent visit. Service was nice too. I'd recommend stopping in.

It was delicious! The concha was soft, buttery and flaky, with just the right sweetness. We took home the majority of it and it stayed nice and soft instead of turning hard like so many others. We decided to try several appetizers to go along with our concha to get a wider taste of their food than we would by just ordering a couple entrees. Let me tell you, this was a great idea! We ordered the Tosti-Ceviche Verde, Panela Asado, Mexican Street Corn, and their Spicy Bean Dip. The Ceviche Verde was excellent, the freshness of the fish and shrimp was wonderful with the chipotle mayo and avocado. We chose to have it on the salsa Verde Tostitos and it was all great combination. The Panelo Asado was a completely new dish for us and was extremely good with a savory flavor from the salsa Tlaquepaque that mixed well with the Panela cheese. Their tortillas though not made in house, are made for them and taste like mom made them. The Mexican Street Corn was great and had the perfect bit of char taste from the corn. It was creamy and flavorful, we did think it could use just a tad more lime juice though. The Spicy Bean Dip was very good. You can't go wrong with Oaxaca, Chorizo, and pieces of pork mixed with some mildly spicy beans. Our server was fantastic. She had great recommendations for us, and was quick with checking on our drinks and generally helping us throughout our dinner. The food was prepared quickly, was hot, tasteful and refreshing. We definitely will be going back, and recommend Pan Fila to all of you.
