My Guisada tacos and the fagita taco were really good and flavorful and having a friendly staff is a recipe for success and pichanchas has it!! When you get your check at this place the total price is never listed. The dishes you ordered are on the check but not what you paid for them. Twice my wife and I have had to challenge the price because there seemed to be a disconnect with the price listed on the menu and what you are charged at the register. The last time I went there I ordered a plate for $11 or so and my wife got two bean and cheese tacos that were on special for one dollar each. When I went to pay, however, I was charge $16. I thought that it would be less, like $13 dollars or so. We had only water to drink. I don't think we were charged for the waters. When I brought this up with the cashier she just quoted me the total and made no attempt to see if there was a mistake and basically ignored us. We ended up at this eatery when another we were headed to was closed. We arrived for breakfast and found a very attentive serving staff and plenty of room to be seated. There is a separate dining room in addition to the area where we sat. The vibe is distinctly Mexican. The decor, the Spanish being spoken and the menu is very distinctly a visit to a vibrant community. I was immediately drawn to a dish I had never tried but found amazing, chilaquiles. Fresh tortilla chips with chiles, sour cream and I don't know what else. It was fabulous. My friend also enjoyed the same and my other friend got her usual tacos with carne guisada. I ordered unsweet tea and got an incredibly large sized fresh brew. Now while the decor is very eclectic and random Fiesta vibe, it is a comfortable, friendly immersive experience and delicious inexpensive fare. read more

We were craving Mexican and in the area. Thought we'd try this place out. The place was clean and music was poppin! Overall nice ambiance. We got assisted right away and they bring you chips and queso. Yummy. My husband ordered a fajita taco and Machacado and egg. They were big and he said very tasty. I ordered small menudo which was delicious and our boys got the Mexican plate and flautas. All our food came out quickly, fresh and delicious. The salsas were very good and the tortillas were big and soooo good! They also have great lunch specials and great price point! Enjoy! read more

Refused to understand there is a law against charging fees on debit card use. They automatically run credit to charge the fee. If you want eye candy I suppose you'd be happy, but I've felt over charged even when I get a lunch special here. read more

We just had lunch and it was so good I had to review right away! First of all, the staff were so welcoming and genuinely cheerful. I ordered the Mexican plate and subbed the soft taco for a puffy taco. Everything was perfect..the enchilada sauce was lighter than most I've had and it was packed with savory goodness! My husband ordered the Texas plate (thanks to the recommendation of our great server). He was equally impressed and said the carne guisada was some of the best he's had. We woke up and decided we wanted to eat breakfast with grandson and found this place. Place was full but once inside there were plenty of tables. The tables were beautiful a little crowded inside but still able to move around. We were seated right away and given menus. Our waitress was friendly and was able to get our drinks right away. We placed our orders and it really didn't take long to get our food except for a plate that one took a while and we all had already started eating they probably forgot. During the whole time we ate our breakfast our waitress never came back to ask if we needed anything. We never received refills on our coffee or water. My husband plate was Chilaquiles but when he started eating he noticed it was sour so I told him to let the waitress know it could be the sauce had gone bad well she never came by so he just ate out of plates. Tried the Chilaquiles and they were awesome. But the biggest thing for me was that they serve you chips and salsa right? And the Salsa was excellent but they changed my life when they brought queso alongside with it. Very good place that ill be returning back to quite a bit. read more

Went here this morning (Day 3 of winter storm). One of the very few restaurants open. The parking lot was packet but the whole staff was friendly and doing amazing work to keep up. Grateful that they were open and still feeding people during the electrical outages. We got food to go and it was great. read more

Had a late breakfast on Sunday here. Lately I've noticed the service has been very hit-or-miss but today it was excellent! I had chorizo and egg plate. It was tasty but it was barely warm. I was hungry and did not have time to wait so did not send it back. They have several sauces available - a fresh salsa that's very tasty - they serve that in a bowl with each meal. I like their salsa verde that comes in a bottle. It's always hot and the perfect consistency however today it had the consistency of water - not sure why unless they added a bunch of water to make it go further? Kind of disappointing here today. The worst restaurant I've ever had the displeasure of eating at in quite a long time. The food was bad. The papas rancheras tasted of pickle, the beans of dirt and the rice was undercooked. The restaurant table was so filthy that my pants got beans or something smudged on them (not a little bit but lots) and the waitress couldn't even suppress her stupid smile about it.
