Steak sandwich

I got the steak sandwich with the Munster cheese oh my gosh, it was heaven the meat was flavorful juicy with no weird fat things in it... I got it without the avocado. I think it tasted better just added mayo. Superbbbb

Came here for the Empanadas. Parking can be hit or miss. Located in a small plaza with a lot of businesses. Best advice is get here early. I ordered the Beef and Chicken Empanadas. The outer crust was incredible. Just like my aunt makes em. The meat on both was fresh and absolutely delicious. The size of each empanada was very filling. They give you two different types of sauces. I like em plain. The dining area is pretty good sized. I ordered them to go. But will absolutely dine here in the future. They have digital menus and flat screen TV's that were playing soccer games. The wall decor will full of Chilean photos. I'd highly recommend them. The last thing is the place was very clean and sterile and service was great.

2 empanadas and salad combo

Empanadas are delicious!! I ordered the empanadas and salad combo. Food is delicious and the owner is very friendly! They have sweets and drink options, including coffee.

first time here; ordered the combo of two empanadas (chicken and shrimp) with fries. I personally love the shrimp one and the jalapeno sauce!! Paid $12+tax, decent price and the fill is great. I would recommend to order ahead of time though, place isn't for someone whose in a rush it'll take 10-15 minutes depending on the amount you order / from my experience (-_-)

This is hands down my favorite spot in LA for authentic Chilean food. Every time I come here, it feels like a little piece of home. The atmosphere is so warm and inviting, with Chilean TV playing in the background--it always brings a smile to my face. The food is incredible. I can't get enough of the pastel de choclo, the empanadas de pino, and their pan amasado--everything tastes homemade and full of flavor. Honestly, I come here every chance I get because the food is just that good. Plus, the prices are very reasonable, which makes it even better! What makes this place even more special is the people. The staff is so friendly and welcoming, they make you feel like family. On my birthday, the owner surprised me with a cake and sang "Cumpleaños Feliz" to me--it was such a sweet and unforgettable moment. Oh, and I have to mention the parking--it's free, which is a big deal in LA and just one more reason this place is so great. If you're craving real Chilean food or just want a cozy place to enjoy a great meal, you have to check this place out. I promise, you won't regret it!

Baked empanadas: beef on bottom, chicken on top $3.50 each
Brenda M.

I love empanadas so decided to try 2 at this Chilean restaurants. They have baked ones with beef, chicken, seafood or spinach. The fried ones have cheese with ham, jalapeños, mushroom or shrimp. I bought a chicken one (has onions) and a beef one (has olives and egg) which had a good baked crust and savory. They also have a case full of pastries but I did not try any. Similar to other businesses in this shopping center, I recommend avoiding eating in during peak hours as there is limited parking.

A cozy and lowkey spot perfect for a mellow outing or a tranquil date. Today was our second time in and we ordered bistec a lo pobre and the pescado frito. Both were delicious! In addition to the amazing food there's also a great selection of home made pastries for dessert or to take home. Servers were attentive and accommodating. Will be coming back! If you are thinking about it; do yourself a favor and check this place out! :)

Amazing food! Came here because I have a cold and was fed like a queen. I will definitely come again. The big plus is that they have a super clean bathroom which is so important to me. The service was great and the ambiance was lovely. This is my new go to place.

Little spot with Chilean food. I was getting food to go and I loved the delicious smells inside when waiting for my food. Seems like they definitely specialize in Empanadas so it's a must have for me to try next time. I ordered the fish and chips to go. They were a little softer than I normally like my white fish and not as crunchy as I'd like but still very good. Comes with a red sauce and green sauce which was different than your traditional tartar sauce. They have daily specials and make their own fresh juices as well. They also make some cakes and have baked goods. Multiple options to do here!

Half eaten Chicken Empanada - yum and full of filling
Tagan L.

Pleasantly surprised by this place! Yum. Think we found our new fave empanadas spot. I ordered two shrimp & cheese, one jalapeno & cheese and one chicken. All very good. My fave was the shrimp. The jalapeno one didn't have a lot of heat, but it was still solid. I began eating before I can post so all if have is the last bite of the chicken, but notice the filling. They give you a lot. Will absolutely be returning the next time I'm in the area.

Because my job requires me to always travel. I'm always looking for a spot nearby where I can get a quick bite or enjoy my morning with a Hearty breakfast. I pay attention to the food the way that they season it the way that it's served the presentation and it's not because I want to. It's just overtime. I've developed an eye for these kind of things. By tasting the eggs in the omelette, I can tell that there's effort put into the ingredients and seasoning the slight pleasant creaminess of the eggs tell the whole story and the selection that goes into the scramble is so delicious! And fitting I recommend the chicken apple sausage in the omelette. It's not even a question of whether or not I'll be enjoying my morning here again it's a firm most definitely! I have come once every few years and this place still hits. My niece ordered the 3 egg scramble with: smashed avocado, queso fresco, and spinach with home fried potatoes. My sister ordered the Belgian Liege Waffle with Berries and Banana. I ordered the Chimichurri Steak Quesadilla. We shared foods and hit the ultimate combo of savory and sweet. We saved the Waffle for dessert. The most surprising thing was how amazing and crisp the waffle was after we ate the savory parts of our shared meals. This is the second location in The Valley. The other location is in Granada Hills. Apparently Doja Cat, Vanilla Ice, Stevie Wonders, and other celebs are regulars that they have a menu called "Eat like the Stars," based on the celebrities usual order.

Since it was going to be a long wait, my wife and daughter waited in the car and I asked the hostess if it was cool if I sat down by the bar area and order a coffee which I plan to pay for. I was told by the hosts that that area is first come first serve so she didn't see a problem with it so I sat there. One of the gentleman that works there asked if I wanted anything to drink so I ordered a coffee. Moments later, while drinking my coffee the lady that's assigned to that section asked if I wanted to order anything or if I needed a menu which then I informed her that I was waiting for a table and was told it was cool if I sat there while I drank a coffee. She then rudely stated in Spanish. "I DON'T MAKE MONEY THAT WAY" then storms off. The lady starts complaining to her coworkers and they start looking my way. They then inform the guy that always wears a black shirt and slick back hair who I believe is a manager and he comes over and explains that this section is for walk ins that plan to sit and eat here and am welcomed to wait outside or in the waiting area.I informed him it wasn't a problem but thats the reason I asked from the beginning. I also mentioned we drove from Simi Valley to come here and there were many other restaurant options but I told him how the waitress treated me and he said he would talk to her. I told him I would pay for the coffee and I would leave. He said don't worry about the coffee. I didn't even finish my coffee I set it down and left. After coming here for years with family, friends, even referring this place to others I WILL NEVER COMEBACK AGAIN. We made our way to the Country Café in Chatsworth and of course got great hospitality and food.

The service from sitting down to leaving was exceptional and welcoming as our waitress was extremely friendly and attentive. I ordered the Bee Eggs Benedict which was packed with flavor. The serving was adequate and what I think sets it apart from other eggs Benedict's I've had is that they kept this simple. Some versions have so much going on and the flavors contrast each other leading more to a mush. This version is much more direct so that the flavor from the sauce, eggs, protein and potatoes was highly noticeable. My friend ordered the panwhich which is a play on a pancake sandwich that that serving was huge haha. The inside of the restaurant is very spacious and optimal for small or large parties. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a solid weekend breakfast/brunch joint in the Valley.
