Unfortunately, something seems to have changed over the last six months to a year. The portions have gradually gotten smaller, and the sauces taste noticeably different. When we asked about it once, we were told it depends on who's cooking that day, which is understandable, but the inconsistency became hard to ignore. The smaller portions, however, have been quite consistent. Toward the end of our visits there, it felt like we were getting mostly sauce with very little meat, which is disappointing for a place we used to rave about. We're now on the search for a new Indian restaurant to take the spot of what was once one of our absolute favorites.

We've eaten here 3x now, and it's always great tasting food. But the service was really slow, while only just two tables had diners. ( us and another couple) then a few to go orders while we waited . Yes, it's Christmas Day holiday so I can be forgiving with being slow. I get that, but ... The thing that rubbed me wrong the most was the waitress only wanted to bring one togo container for all 4 four plates of food . Like we were just going to slap it all together like pig slop. We had to specifically ask for four seperate containers. They also brought one foil wrap for the leftover Naan for two couples . So we mixed ours with our daughter and her boyfriend . Needless to say we didn't get any of it . I'd go back, but they surly need to train the waitress better. Maybe, it's a tradition in India to not have ice with a water, but is a little off-putting especially when the drink menu is so limited . It's a small place only for accommodating small parties. The dine in experience leaves a lot to be desired.

They made small talk and helped with the menu to help me get what I needed. The restaurant is situated next to a service station and other restaurants, so parking at peak times might be a little touch and go. While I waited for my food the ladies chatted a bit with me about the food and people of Nepal. Very interesting conversation! The place has maybe a dozen tables and a well stocked bar with about 8 seats. While I was there not a single person entered who wasn't warmly greeted with a smile. Pretty quiet inside with some ethnic music playing. The ladies warned me that the food would take a little time to prepare. It came out right on time! There seems to be a pretty brisk lunch rush here so I recommend getting here at 1130 when they open. I ordered my food to go, so not a lot of great pictures, but the food was fantastic! I look forward to trying new dishes and getting great recommendations from the menu from the wait staff!

The thali was okay and had an authentic Nepali taste, which I really enjoyed, but I felt the variety was a little limited. There was no dessert compared to other Nepali thalis I've tried, I think they could offer a bit more variety. The steamed chicken momo was also decent. I had tried momo at another place before, so compared to that, these were good but the wrap were tad bit dry! One thing I really liked was the service. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. The thali did take a little while to come out, but it seemed like most people at the restaurant were ordering it, so it may be one of their more popular dishes. I'd probably come back to try some of their other dishes. With a little more variety in the thali, I think this place could be even better.

Perfectly seasoned with the right amount of spice. The butter chicken is Devine...other worldly where the flavors pull your palette to that warm happy place. The curry chicken, rivaled the other dishes. All unique with the most aromatic flavors pulling together. Speaking of aromatic the Chicken biryani rice is the perfect compliment. Chili chicken, my absolute favorite was tasty and the "fish" sticks are a must try. I often think about a friend from years gone by who 1st introduced me to Indian food when I was a mere 19 yrs old. I loved it then as much as I love it now and He would absolutely love it. The people are always soooo nice and the service is first class.

I ordered a house salad and an additional appetizer with a cottage cheese based dessert. I assumed this would be a quick order as I needed to my next work assignment. 5 minutes till 6 pm I advised my client that I was grabbing food and would be a little late. 42 minutes later after sharing my concern my food appeared. Right before then she came to process my payment after so said I would just pay for my beverage as I no longer wanted the food. I also had to tell her they let me sit over 30 minutes without even checking to see if I needed water when the pitcher was walked around the room. The customer service team member initially advised there was no manager available. When I got ready to leave she sent a friend that looked like she was just clocking in. She also confirmed she was not the manager when I asked directly.
