Chilis Atascocita So My family and I just ordered a to go order from chilis Atascocita location to bring back home to watch during the game. When we arrived home we had two orders incorrect as well as the food very cold (even though we were parked outside and got the order the moment the food ready notification came through to my phone). We reheated each meal and just went ahead with eating despite the incorrect mix ups with two of the orders. About half way through with my drink in theirs now clear to go cups I notice something floating in my drink. I take the lid off and notice that there is multiple chip pieces in my drink floating around. I show my boyfriend and it took him a while to register as well that they were chips and not ice. He then goes to check his cup and notices two pieces in his cup as well. ABSOLUTELY disgusting and at this rate looks purposeful places. I called up there to speak with the manger who was completely unconcerned and dry about this situation. We were told to pack back up everything bring the food back up there to have everything re made and that that's the only option. Do not order to go. This location is not able to handle the business. The past three time I have ordered to go from this location they have taken 20 to 30 minutes longer than they stated for the order. When I arrived and text that I am there to pick up the order no one comes out to the car. After noticing customer after customer going inside to check on their order, I do the same. The place is so disorganized and lacks basic customer service and any leadership. Once the crowd cycles through I am able to speak to someone about my order they bring it to me and it is wrong. It takes an additional 30 minutes to get corrected. At no point does a manager come over and apologize or do anything to expedite my order. I've worked at this location for 2 months and they just fired me for a "no call no show" when I called and texted the managers multiple times saying I was not feeling well and I went to the doctor and got a doctors note as well. I showed up to work the next day and was informed I was fired. It's so unfortunate that this is the closest chili's to me. We've tried multiple times to give this location another chance... what a waste of time and money. We placed an online order (chili's has a great system for this) and never received a notification that our order was ready. A server came out to our car and asked if we were picking up. He told us we were supposed to check in but nowhere did we get an option to check in. The server was friendly and quickly got our order. Then the real issues start... One drink was missing so my wife went to retrieve it. We got to our destination and found that we were given only ONE SPOON for the THREE ORDERS. My wife ordered only sides for herself... her $1.99 Steamed Broccoli had 2 pieces of Broccoli Her $1.99 black beans were in a small cup only filled half way - mine was slightly better. Her $1.99 rice was also filled only halfway in a small cup. - mine was the same for my order. Considering this was a to go order, I do not have time to go complain to a manager every time I place an order here. We have gotten to the restaurant about 10:15 on a Tuesday night. We were trying to set at the bar a very rude guy full of tattoos told us that "Are have been close " well I just come in.. not that I have been there all night too know that. Returned today after getting our previous problem worked out with new General Manager Matt. Totally different atmosphere!! Our server Melissa was excellent along with her teammate. The food was hot and tasty. It's obvious that big changes have been made to this location since September. They go from 0 stars to a 5 star experience for us Matt addressed the original problem in a timely fashion even reaching out by phone to speak directly to me. Today I was reminded why I NEVER eat at Chili's anymore! The service slow and unattentive. The burger had absolutely no flavor the only thing that stood out was the amount of grease on the bun! It's Chili's. The food was good. I ordered the new mex bowl. It was filled with rice, corn, black beans, chicken, lettuce, cheese, sour cream, tortilla strips, avocado slices (2). The portion size was just right. My mom was with me and ordered the black bean burger. She said it was good and didn't leave you feeling extra full. We waited a LONG time just to be sat. 2 ladies were before Us also said they had been waiting a long time as well. Service was ok. The waitress was very nice. Lots of tables were dirty. My friends and I had such a great experience at the Chilis on 1960. Our server Devin was so sweet. My friend wasn't able to afford a meal and was planning on just not eating and Devin paid for her meal, without hesitation, and even gave us a free lava cake. I was on the verge of tears. Typical Chili's, not bad but definitely nothing to write home about. We dropped in for a quick drink and dinner. Sat at the bar because it's always easier and faster (and in this case it was). However be aware that this Chili's is in Humble and therefore smoking is allowed in the bar. I had forgotten that there are places that still have smoking inside (a little behind the times for what is supposed to be a 'family' restaurant. Oh well. As for the food. I tried something different this time and got the 6 oz sirloin. The beef itself was okay, cooked exactly the way that I asked. The problem was that it arrived with a garlic spread on top. The menu mentioned nothing of garlic, just mentioned a butter spread. I scrapped it off and ate the steak, but I think the garlic was an inappropriate topping. It just tasted weird. The mashed potatoes were very bland as well. From now on I'll stick to the chicken pasta which I usually get. read more

Now, after the renovation and I guess new management the quality of food, service, and cleanliness dropped... We went here after the renovations finished and we did the 2/$20. He got the steak and asked for medium-rare and it came out rare. It came back a second time and was still rare. Then we went again, gave it a chance and same thing happened. Not the best experience at this location tonight. They were super slow and we were at the restaurant 1 hour 45 mins. The new sunrise burger came highly recommended by our server, after waiting a while for our food everything came except this burger. Apparently it was burnt and being remade. New burger comes and egg not cooked as requested (over medium) and completely missing the bacon (a highlight when originally told to order this). Several mins later, as everyone else was almost done eating, bacon was brought out The table across from us sat and received drinks but was not checked on or asked for their order for quite a while (we placed order, appetizer came, and ate all of our chips and salsa before they ordered). This review is for the Chili's by H-E-B in Atascocita. This restaurant is not consistent with their food quality throughout the day and night. Old food is served at night, especially after 11:00 PM, with a closing time of midnight. If old food is going to be served, then the food should be half price! The fries were OLD, the ribs were cold inside, yet hot outside, and the corn on the cob was old. Poor food quality. Shame on you Chili's. Just close early instead of pissing the customers off! I love restaurants that you can order online and normally other Chili's are good. I ordered 2 meals and chips and queso. They were very prompt bring the order to the car, which is why they get 1 Star. When I got home and opened our order: the chicken was over cooked and looked like it was old and reheated. The bacon burger was way under cooked and I didn't notice til I had about 4 bits. I am pregnant and that can be very dangerous for my baby. They did not put the queso in the bag only the chips. The food here is dependibly good. However they seem to be having problems with the service at this location. Again today, we had to wait over 10 minutes before any waitstaff came by. I had to go back to the hostess and ask if we were going to be waited on. So, the hostess took our drink order, then a waiter appeared a minute later to again take our drink order and explain that our table was at the edge of someone's station and no one was sure who was responsible for us. Then a waitress showed up to actually take our food order. I asked her if anyone else would be joining us. After that things went smoothly. I did overhear the manager apologizing to the table behind us about their food. I went to curbside today (3-12-21). Service was excellent and food was ready. However, the food is the worse I have ever had. I got the Bacon Chicken Quesadillas, which I have gotten before. The tortillas weren't cooked - it was like they took them of the package and slapped the filling in between. Even I know that you must toast the tortillas. Filling wasn't any better. One of the worst restaurant experiences I've ever had. Walked in and the bathroom was not very clean, 2 sinks out of order and no TP in the stall. We're told the tea was out and the Diet Coke has to be changed so that took some time...Chips and salsa came out and the chips were bottom of the barrel. Then after waiting what felt like forever for our food, a roach is crawling up the wall at the table next to us. We alert the manager and also tell him it's been a while for our food. When he comes back, he tells us we hadn't been waiting an hour, only 42 minutes based on their clock system but that he would take care of getting it out ASAP. Food comes out less than great, and one of our steaks is over cooked. When we send it back, the waiter comes back and argues with us and says it was perfectly medium and wanted to know how exactly we wanted it if that wasn't right. Then we just ask the manager to take the steak off because we didn't want it anymore since the rest of us were done and as he's doing that, the situation escalated into some words exchanged and defensiveness and arguing from the manager...never a genuine apology or taking responsibility.
