Usually this place is great but this time the service was absolutely awful. First of all, the restaurant was absolutely freezing and everyone was wearing a jacket. Also, It took forever for the waitress to even bring our drinks and after 20 minutes upon ordering an appetizer, she came back and said they don't have flat breads anymore which shows she was doing nothing for 20 minutes. The main food took an hour to come and the waitress only checked in once in that one hour. Awful waitress, awful service. However, the food tasted great and that was the only plus. If you're hungry, bring snacks, because the service is really really really slow. I've been waiting over 30 minutes for a hamburger. The burger was dry and chewy like leather, it sure wasn't the medium rare I ordered. That one star is me being polite since they don't have a negative one. I called Friday morning around 11:45 am to make a reservation for fourteen people for my birthday dinner we figured drinks and appetizers and it's close by for everyone that was coming. When I called I spoke to a lady on the phone I said please make sure it can be accommodated, if not I can go somewhere else, she reassured me that I could be done no problem., I confirmed all my guest and set it up, we got there at 8:10 pm and the young guy that was there told me it was going to be 15 minute wait or longer he wasn't really sure since there was a big party that has been there since 6pm and they weren't sure when they were leaving, I looked at him and asked if he was joking and that I had called earlier too make sure this would be arranged and he said we really don't take the reservations we just put your name down and call you if we have it if not you just wait until we get it ready.. I was already furious because if I had known I would of planned somewhere else. I asked to speak to the manager and all she said was basically "did you call earlier" I said yes and then she asked the guy to reassure her that I did. Which was ridiculous at that point I was already angry and I told my guest we were going somewhere else that was close by to everyone. I am really annoyed at this place every time I go it seems like something always happens and no one there can really help you.. customer service skills here suck and your staff is inadequately trained either. I was at this place yesterday with my family and had an alright experience. The service was very slow. The food was pretty good. When we got to the restaurant the wait was not too long only 5 mins which was good and we liked the table we had (in the bar area). Our waitress was very nice but took a while to bring the food out. I'm actually appalled over the experience we had here for dinner tonight. First sign should've been waiting 15 minutes to be seated (no host in sight), with empty dirty table abound. There must be 15 people (clarification: kids) working here, none of them are over the age of 23. They are screaming and laughing at each other in the kitchen -- ridiculously audible to the entire dining room as pissed tables wait 45 minutes for mediocre food -- which sounds like a high school locker room or frat house. I couldn't believe it. Is there an "adult" here? Dirty tables sat un-bussed forever, and the bathroom was absolutely disgusting (poop-clogged toilets, garbage everywhere), looking like it hadn't been cleaned since this morning. When I left the bathroom and glimpsed the kitchen in full view, my eyes popped out of my head. The floor was wet, food was strewn ALL over the floor, kids were cackling, and I became very leery of eating anything here. My salad was sad, tomato was mushy, and my imagination ran wild wondering what the hooligans back there consider acceptable hygiene in food-prep. The final insult was being overcharged for something I specifically pointed out ahead of time and waiting 20 minutes for pleasant-enough-but-clueless broseph to emerge from the frat den to correct the bill. read more

The service was wonderful, the food was delicious, and they have a tablet at every table in which you can refill drinks, order appetizers, and pay your bill right at the table with a credit card! They were pretty slow with their service. There were a lot of people but they were still slow when people left. I mean they also gave me a whole extra bag of chips and salsa to go too, so not complaining. Okok they're not that bad but did I mention they my appetizer didn't come until after my entree??? They apologized but hmm. OK fine that's not that bad. We waited eighty years just to order dessert and another eighty years for get the actual desert. Okay its not their fault but there was a screaming baby seated next to us when we came and loud teenagers when we left. Was not a pleasant experience. Even getting a check took a long time. So my point is it was clearly understaffed due to such a long waiting time but our waiter was phenomenal! He kept apologizing to us and checked on us and thanked us. He was arguably one of the best waiters I've ever had. Our waiter deserves ten out of five stars but chili's should have more staff. I'm sad that my experience last night at Chilis was not up to par. My best friend and I just wanted to grab a quick bite and a beer just to hang and chat, nothing fancy so we went to Chilis. We were immediately greeted and seated. Our waiter came over rather quickly and took our drink order. That was about the only good thing about our service. Our waiter was great when he was attentive but that was the problem he wasn't very attentive at all. We ordered chips and salsa which took about 15mins to arrive, thought that was a bit lengthy but we survived. Our waiter took our overly picky orders and got them correct. While waiting for our food I wanted a soda but our waiter was too busy on the other side of the restaurant bickering with another waiter about who got cut and who didn't get cut. I was still thirsty. When our food arrived everything was great the food came just as we ordered and hot. No complaints on the food and we like the new additions to the menu. Once our food came service got worst. Our un-attentive waiter never came to check on us during the meal and actually began to ignore us. He walked by us a few times at first completely oblivious to the fact that we were there. It then turned into a little game for us, how many times was our waiter going to walk by and completely ignore us where he actually turned his back towards us so we could not grab his attention. He did it 6 times. Finally at the end of the meal he came and checked in on us where we asked for a re-fill and the check. At that point we had enough and were just ready to go. It was the end of the night and I understand there aRe closing duties that need to be done and everyone wants to go home but as we were exiting the restaurant we were over whelmed with the unprofessional manner the staff was carrying themselves in. It's hard to believe a manager was on duty bc I just can't see a professional manager being ok with such behavior and actions. The wait staff was on the floor yelling at one another "come on guys lets clean up so we can get out of here" sweeping around us as if we were in their way. Exiting the restaurant another one of the wait staff was sitting down on the guest waiting booth with her legs crossed boots on the seat with her shirt half way up her back exposing her thong, not exactly what I wanted to see after I just ate. On the other side of the exit were two of the bar staff members gossiping loudly about their own personal life with a girl in tears. Yet again not exactly what I wanted to see, I have enough going on in my own life. At the end of the night we were a bit upset about our experience at Chilis bc we had never experienced such horrible service before. Unfortunate for our waiter his tip was a reflection of his neglect and carelessness. I am a tipper and normally tip out 20-30% based on the quality of service. I work in a tipping role in the hospitality industry myself and at bare minimum I will tip 10% last night I had a hard time even tipping that much. At the end of the day will I go back to a Chilis, of course I'm just not sure we'll go back to Maphopac. read more

I love this place for lunch with my kids and my mom but this past time we went it was horrible the waitress was not friendly and most of all the food tasted stale. My son got cheeses quesadillas and they where like eating card board and I had the quesadilla explosion salad and mine had come the same way it was horrible. Absolutely horrified. I went in earlier this week for dinner with my mother. Now normally we enjoy coming in, the food is delicious and the staff is normally very friendly and accommodating. But this week I came in with my mother, who is 72 years old so needless to say she has some issues with mobility. Due to this, my mother needs to be pushed in a wheelchair. One host was very kind and walked us over to our table, while the other seemed to just remain on his phone in the front. As we sat and began to get comfortable, the other host, a tall dark skin male proceeded to tell the other host that "if he ever got like that to please kill him." My mother heard this and was very depressed the rest of the day. Disability is not a joke and should not be treated as such! I am not sure how this kind of person is even hired into an establishment meant to serve all different kinds of people! This behavior was uncalled for and I am absolutely disgusted! Chili's is a really good restaurant... The waiters and waitress's are so sweet and have a bold personality. When your about to get your table your waiter tells you their name and you feel like your at home. If I were you I would get the Margarita Chicken it is one of my favorites.
