We waited for a while for drinks and asked the waiter where they were so they came out right away, and were watered down so they had been sitting for a while. Went in for lunch today and we should of walked out. Place was empty and that should have been a clue. The mini Bite burgers came out barely warmed up and the bacon ranch quesadillas had a weird taste. The chicken seemed rubbery and tough to chew. The chili we had with the lunch combo had a bad taste and the waitress we had said it came from a fresh bag. Service and drinks were the only good part of our meal. Good place to take the kids and not die of embarrassment from yelling, crying or spilling food on the floor. A couple comments though, please turn down the music volume in the ladies room!!! Today I went to this location and was probablly the worst experience I have had in awhile. Our first waitress was so sweet and nice but had to leave becuase her shift was up which is respected. However the second waitress was named Marey. She was absolutley rude and did not respect her tables. I was sitting with a table of 5 and we wanted seperate checks ONLY 3 SEPERATE CHECKS. I proceeded to ask to get the free chips and salsa and she gave me attitude about how i have to insert my card to get it. I just asked a question and didn't need the attitude. When leaving, and recieving the checks after she explained to the table across from us and said "Im so sorry for the wait I had to deal with this table that wasn't my responsibility and they had a bunch of cards" I'm sorry that we are eating with a table of 5? After that, we checked the recipt WE WERE STILL CHARGED for the chips and salsa!! I am calling to get my money back. read more

Went to this location last weekend and sat at the bar. The bartender was a young, dark haired (ponytail) thin girl. We sat down and without any acknowledgment from the bartender at all, we watched her make drinks while we waited for a "hello", a "be right with you", something, but it didn't happen. Finally, at almost 9 full minutes, I said, "could we please get a drink?" She walks over, irritated, no smile, nothing and we ordered. She nodded, got the drinks and brought them...again, not a word. We then had to give her the bad news that we wanted appetizers. We again had to wait, wait and wait some more for her to come over, which my fiance finally said, "could we please order?" Again, all irritated, she took the order. Fast forward: after the appetizers (which were good as Chili's always is), we had each ordered another drink and sat for almost a half hour with our empty dishes in front of us and my fiance's unboxed chicken leftovers too. You could see we were done by the dishes, but she didn't bother to clear them OR ask if she could box it up. What she did do at this point? She kept walking away from the bar and had a soda and kept drinking off it, but again, away from the bar??? She finally walks back over and I had pushed the dirty dishes on the side of me (there were only 5 of us at the bar) and said, "Could I please get a rag to wash this?" Meaning the bar in front of me) and she walks over, slaps the rag in front of me, while I washed the bar area myself!!!!! At this point my fiance and I were both chuckling to ourselves because we were beyond stunned at the rudeness of this girl the short time we were there and that was all we could do. When the check came (we didn't have to wait for that!) we looked at it and we are always 25% tippers.. always.. but tonight, we left a 10% tip and she didn't deserve even that! I asked someone else that walked behind the bar (a really nice girl) for a box for the leftovers and we left...again, stunned. While we would go back to Chilis at this location again, we would definitely NOT sit at the bar if this girl was there! read more

Came here for lunch today. It's set out like TGI Friday's, with booths and tables and 50's-type decor. The best thing about this place was the 90's music. We started with the tostada chips with salsa and corn guacamole. Chili's manages to make everything tasteless, which must be quite challenging. Next I had the margarita grilled chicken, which is where things got a bit weird. The chicken looked like breast but in fact was some kind of reconstituted meat, which was alarmingly uniform with no texture. Essentially it resembled a block of processed cheese. The 'chicken' came with rice and beans and a few bits of chopped tomato. Again nothing had any taste until I smothered it in salt, pepper and tabasco. My companion had the chicken fajitas; same story with the re-formed chicken, but the whole dish was disgustingly greasy from the fried onions. I had a classic margarita (I know, what a lush, and at lunchtime too!) which came is a cute little shaker. The drink was okay, albeit a bit sweet. Our server was helpful and attentive, although nothing about the experience would make me want to go back, ever. It's a shame, as I remember Chili's from way back when they had a massive restaurant in the centre of Reading in England. They used to serve good catfish and enchiladas. Terrible, don't bother. My wife and i waited for over 5 mins on a slow, off hours night for somebody to come to the front and seat us. Then we waited another 10 mins while waitresses walled past us. Nobody bothered to give is the slightest bit of attention. Again, there was nobody there, a few people at the bar and that's it. We were hungry so we just left and went else where, i don't think it's unreasonable to expect at least a drink after 15 min's waiting. read more

I haven't been to chili's since I was a young teen and I wasn't a fan so I haven't been back until recently. It was a more pleasant experience now based only on the food. The waiter was awful didn't right down are order for the six of us and when placing the order with the kitchen he returned to ask questions about are orders. The drinks sat for a long time before being refilled which is sad because there was only the six of us and one other couple in there for lunch. My friends food was all screwed up but mine was awesome! The portion size to price was good and I didn't leave feeling full like with alot of the chain restaurants. Will be back again hopefully with a different wait staff and will update. read more

We were shopping in the area today and as it was around lunch time we decided to come here. We were seated quickly but wait for server to show up a bit TOO long especially since there was only one other party of 4 there at the time. We had been sitting....WAITING...for nearly 25 minutes and getting up to leave when someone came running over. Hmmm. As things turned out we should have left when we wanted to. Since we had had ALL that time to decide what to eat we placed our order...immediately. Don't you want an appetizer she said. No thank you we said. Another 25 minutes goes by...again seemed a bit TOO long for 3 hamburgers ... The kicker is after waiting...the food was barely BARELY warm. I asked for burger to be cookex medium well, it was pretty RARE in the center. ICK!!! We let it go...THEN. Heh heh heh...Hello Yelp review. I go to Chili's fairly often, and the only reason they are getting a two is because their food is good, and I have had good experiences in the past. The last time I went there, which is also the last time I will ever go there, my friends and I only went because we wanted the molten chocolate lave cake, which is delicious, there is no denying that. However, the waitress did not even offer us dessert when we concluded our meal, and then when we asked for some after receiving our check she finally said yes. She then gave us the two desserts we ordered (the second was a hot cookie sunday) in to-go containers, still frozen. Now, I understand that it was getting late and the workers probably wanted to close-up shop, however, I do not believe this should be a valid excuse for her action. We did not realize until we had left that they were not heated what so ever, or we would certainly not have tipped so generously. Chili's food is good, but I would recommend going to a different one besides this particular location if you want actual service. read more

The positive: they did service recovery after a terrible start. And the food was good. The negative: pretty awful host/hostess. I get that some guests can check in online, but being told the wait is 30 mins and then to wait over 60 mins, all while similarly sized parties come in, put their name in, and get seated ahead of you, AND, their dumb app incorrectly says how many parties are ahead of you, is just poor service. At least manage expectations better. The cherry on top was being seated finally after over an hour, to discover 3 EMPTY tables in our section. Someone really screwed up. Manager: train your hosts to be human and actually care. Not cool when Joe Hostess caters to a table of either his female friends or just favors a particular party because they're all females who flirt with him. Also, pay attention to who's waiting and don't oversell your wait times. When I have 3 hungry kids in tow, I don't expect instant seating but I would appreciate honesty. Next time, I'll go to UNO's. It shouldn't take over 2.5 hours from the time I walk in. read more

Honestly the only reason I ever come to this restaurant is because several of my friends really enjoy the food. Personally, I'd sooner eat the cardboard boxes that their frozen beef comes in as it probably tastes better than the food I'm served. But that's not why I'm leaving this review. Just last night I was here with my friends, and while we're waiting for our food we're sharing some sour patch watermelons. The waiter who was serving us, his name was Isaiah, comes over and asks for one. Now, that's unprofessional in itself but it gets worse. We had just finished them so my friend tells him that. Isaiah seems completely shocked (he's probably not used to people finishing meals in that disgusting restaurant) and says "Really? You ate all of them?" directed at my friend. My friend replies that we were sharing them (which we were) to which Isaiah replied "Oh no, you definitely ate them all. LOOK at you!" We were all taken aback by this blatant insult, and when we confronted him on it he pretended like he didn't say anything at all. Isaiah was completely disrespectful and we now have no reason to return to this awful restaurant, especially if that is the kind of behavior that the managers condone. read more

We are local family who visits at least twice monthly (theater next door & food and service have been ok), but takeout is always subpar. Takeout order last night included cold soups, cold boneless wings, cold french fries, and cold, crunchy (like they were just sliced) fajita veggies. Mgr Jennifer told me they "only convect the veggies for 2min, 30 sec" and "what did I want her to do for me?" Really?? I've worked all week & didn't want to cook tonight, but because your take out is a disaster and you want me to feel it's MY fault for ordering YOUR food, and it's cold & raining so I am not coming back for replacement food, I put my boneless wings and fries in the toaster over, my soups in the microwave, and I cooked my own fajita veggies. Nice! Not the first time I've had issues with take out, BUT it IS the last. Hey Chili's...if you cannot ensure the same quality for takeout as your dine-in menu, perhaps you should consider a limited take out menu? read more

I went there today with 2 others. I ordered the baby back ribs and they were lousy, All bone, little meat and lots of chewy fat. The photo of the ribs on the menu looked great. That is NOT what I got. The chef threw my fries on top of my ribs. If I wanted my side of French fries doused in BBQ sauce, I would have done that myself. The menu showed them separate.. My son ordered the Chicken Quesedillas, they came without the Ranch dipping sauce that was promised on the menu. By the time the sauce came, the Quesedillas were cold and lousy. Our young lady ordered the sirloin with garlic butter. It came plain, sans the garlic butter. When she asked for the garlic butter, the wait person was miffed and insisted it was cooked with it. It definitely was not. Not a great experience and I would not be writing this had it not been the third time I have had a bad experience at Chili's in Bellingham. I will not go back. First time experience and most definitely last. My night started out being told there was a 30-40 min wait, understandable for a Saturday night. 1 hour and 20 mins later, after convincing the hostess we should be next we were seated. Waitress was nice the rare times we saw her. Food was a pile of over priced grease, and the beverages smelled as of the cups where dunked in a bleach bucket. Finally, when asking for a bill, a 5 min instruction presentation was given to us by the waitress on how to use the "z" table top tablet robot our bill. And poof, she is gone. When she finally re appeared, I was able to put cash. When I received my change, the actual coins were not present. I suppose the waitress took it upon herself to pad her tip. If you want poor service and food to match, make sure you go on the website or app and do call ahead seating or you will have to wait a long time for this disappointment. read more
