Rather then stare at hotel walls, I went next door to chilis. jump ahead, so beers(very affordable), Great staff, everybody was welcoming and friendly, especially since i had never been, felt comfortable. The place was halfway empty, and we saw SEVERAL seats and tables that were open. Even with all of this, the wait was 20-30 minutes. First red flag. Then they wanted to download an app to see my wait time. Fine, but there's better ways. Then, on the app, there was several small parties still waiting while they were WAITING to seat a party of 12 and another party of 11. At first log in the app said our seat time was going to be 7:40 pm. When it past the 20 minute mark our wait time wash pushed to 8:35 pm. This is Chili's. Not a trendy uptown restaurant. My husband and I went to Chili's off of Sardis Rd (our first time at this location) for a midweek dinner to enjoy some drinks and a bite without breaking the bank and it totally delivered. The place was clean, not too busy, and had TVs all around, definitely a good spot to catch a game next time. We were seated right away, and the service was super friendly. We shared the Triple Dipper with southwestern egg rolls, crispy chicken crispers, and two big mouth bites. My husband ordered the $6 margarita of the month, and I got a 22 oz Modelo. The food came out warm, tasted great, and we each had two drinks, all for under $50. A solid casual date night spot with good food, good vibes, and great value. We'll be back! read more

It has been YEARS since I've been inside a chilis and I only live 5min away from this one. I remember many years ago they had a bad rap for a horrible grade and even worst customer service. However pleased to see it's much better now, I assume different management came in and changed it around. Staff were friendly and attentive, and food was piping hot, fresh and delish. I got the triple dipper option with the viral nashville hot cheese sticks. They were very good, but my personal preference would definitely be a slimmer block of cheese. We decided to have a casual birthday lunch at Chili's Grill & Bar, since we usually go to the Northlake location and always have a great experience. Unfortunately, this time at this locationwas very different. Our server, Sergio, was excellent, attentive, professional, and genuinely tried to make things right for him I give 5/5. When my partner's food came out, his sandwich looked great, but the portion of fries was noticeably small. When we asked if we could get a few more, Sergio immediately went to the kitchen to help. That's where the issue started. He came back and explained that Heidi, refused. He even went back a second time to advocate for us, which we truly appreciated. Eventually, Heidi came out herself and, with an attitude, explained "portion control" as the reason we couldn't get a few extra fries. We weren't asking for a new meal or anything for free, just a small addition to what was clearly an unusually small portion. The way it was handled felt dismissive and unnecessary, especially considering how minor the request was. It turned what should have been a relaxed birthday lunch into an uncomfortable experience. It's disappointing because Sergio's service was genuinely great, and he absolutely earned his tip,and more, for how hard he tried to help us. Unfortunately, the management's response completely overshadowed that. It may seem like a small issue, but moments like this make a difference. Ordered food to be delivered. Showed up 40min past when it was supposed to. My delivery driver waited forever for it. I called in multiple times to check on the food and was assured it was coming out then, but I waited and waited. If you cannot handle take out orders, simply stop taking them. The waitress was great. The food was good but That atmosphere was OK. The booth needs to be repaired. I sat behind a giant child that shook the booth the entire time like he was having a seizure. Because the booths need to be repaired, possibly or because the host sat us on top of each other and they had an entire dining room empty.. The fajita trio included shrimp, steak, and chicken It was served with black beans and the amount of cheese and pico de gallo and sour cream was lacking for the amount of food. Went to sit at the bar. There was a couple at far end of bar and about 8-10 empty seats. Went to sit down, but every spot either had an empty glass with leftover citris, napkins and paper garbage or a white liquid that had not been cleaned. Came for a late Saturday lunch with my son. Regular Chili's located right off independence, easy to locate and with plenty of parking spaces. We arrived around 2pmish and were seated immediately. Service was fast and efficient and had no issues with our food. We ordered chips & salsa, a Cesar salad, bacon burger with fries, and honey chipotle crispers with fries. The Cesear salad was not the best. The lettuce I got looked basically wilted and did not taste fresh. Other than that, everything we received was delicious and had no complaints. It did start getting a bit busy by the time we were finishing up, and I was waiting for our server to return as I wanted to place a to go order and it did take a while for her to return. Food is just ok. Service has gone downhill. Waitstaff is not very familiar with the menu. Chips were so greasy that they were inedible. How does the waitress not look at that and decide not to serve it? Then, someone else from the kitchen delivers your food then you may not see your waitperson for 10 mins later or later. When we came in we were greeted pretty quickly and sat down. we received our drinks rather quickly as well we did order an appetizer, the cheese curds, and they were drenched in seasoning salt. We ordered the chicken pasta on the three for $10 lunch menu and although presentation was beautifully done they flavors were very odd..as if there was some sort of cross contamination. I can say the chicken enchilada soup was delicious but the chicken avocado my spouse ordered was not only less then satisfactory but the rice was hard and dry. We waited for 18 minutes for our waitress so we could request the check and then 20 minutes for the check... Chili's has had a streak of dissatisfaction no matter the location I visit so I think I'm giving up on this branch of restaurants. All in all, I recommend the soup. read more

Stood at the front waiting to be seated for a solid 5 minutes while some wait staff looked at us and thought it was someone else's problem. They were out of the chips and salsa because they ran out of salsa. Ordered burgers. 5 minutes go by and we overhear our waiter talking to the family RIGHT next to us about how they ran out of burgers and wants to know if they want to change their orders. Same waiter never comes to tell us the same, 10 more minutes go by and a separate waitress comes to tell us their grill has broken. Worst chili's experience ever. First off it was doordash delivery, but this review has nothing to do with the delivery or items not recieved hot, I expect that with delivery apps. First I ordered the skillet queso, which I have ordered at least a dozen times, what I got was a cup of ground beef, horribly flavored, with almost zero cheese. This is supposed to be a cheese dip with beef, not a beef dip with a little bit of cheese, it was inedible. Then ordered the brisket quesadilla, almost next to no meat what so ever, just tortilla and shredded cheese, and the flavor again was terrible. My girlfriend and I ate here tonight about 7pm. We saw our waiter a total of 2 times the whole meal. My tea remained empty most of the meal. There was only one server for the entire restaurant who also happened to be the bartender's while the manager (blue hair) and hosts just sat and watched her struggle with their heads up their rear end. Speaking of hair, there was hair in my food. The tv's and music were on high volume the entire time and the floors are sticky. I spent a long time avoiding Chili's and this was a great reminder why. When I brought up the hair my server seemed defeated. Super dissatisfied and definitely will not be coming back. Also Chili's is no longer an affordable family dinner. My quesadilla came out to $18 after tax. That's outrageous even for inflation prices, especially for it to have hair baked into it. Take your money up the street to Texas Roadhouse or cookout for actually affordable food and decent service. Jill was a TREMENDOUS server, running the entire restaurant by herself. I stood at the host stand for several minutes with multiple servers passing me without acknowledgment. Finally someone from the back seats me. I wait for over 10 minutes for a server to come to my table. At that point I order everything. I also noticed every one that sat after me had the same treatment. It was almost planned by the server to make them sit for a long period of time so they could place the whole order at once vs actually waiting on a table. My food was brought out to the table next to me. I noticed it was my food and the server picks the food up and walks to the back. A minute tops goes by and she drops my food off without acknowledgement. I also know this because the table leaned over to confirm my thoughts and told me it was the same food. I don't say anything because I saw they never touched the food and at that point I have been in there for 45 minutes. I didn't get a single refill and I was told to close out on the tablet instead of asking how everything went. You can tell they are short staffed and overworked.
