This place never has enough help and we waited 30 mins and then the kitchen broke down or so they said and so we ended up leaving. There's always a 30 min to an hour wait with only 2 waiters. i do not recommend this location. We had out of town family come up for a family dinner and they refused to seat us at the same table. i understand they are still worried about the covid thing and want seat more than six at a table. We totally understood but, asked to be seated across from each other... they said no. They seated us a mile from each other. Keep in mind there was almost no one in the restaurant. They only had two servers but, the distance from where would could had sat and where they seated us was literally steps from each other. The chips and salsa are addicting. I ordered soup and it was awful and I sent it back. My daughter and I ended up sharing her chicken and bacon quesadilla which was delicious. A few people ordered shrimp fajitas and they got a pile of onions, a few shrimp, and a couple peppers, another friend ordered a shrimp bowl and was afraid to eat the shrimp because it didn't look or taste done. Very disappointed in our meals. Something has changed at the Chilis in Chattanooga off Gunbarrel Rd. We eaten there a lot but not since the COVID-19 started. We ventured out Saturday and looked forward to the chicken tenders and chips and salsa. The chicken was dense and fatty. Not even shaped like original chicken tenders we remember. Took my kids here for lunch one afternoon. The server and staff were very nice and quick. We ordered their tableside Guacamole for a starter and were told they weren't making it because the avocadoes were hard. I appreciated that. The fresh guacamole was the alternative so we ordered it. Bad choice; it was very salty. My son ordered the new Sweet & Smokey Burger. He couldn't stop talking about how good it was. My daughter had soft tacos that she said were too spicy. She never finished the first one. I had fajitas and was not impressed. I've had good fajitas at other Chili's locations. One complaint is how little condiments (Guacamole, sour cream, lettuce, etc) they give you with the fajitas. That's true no matter which location you go too. read more

It's late, and a lot of restaurants are closed at 10pm. However, Chili's of East Brainerd was able to pull through with good service, decent food, and okay everything else. Sweet tea was 4.5/5. Very good, super sweet, very southern. I liked it and I'm a sweet tea snob. Cajun chicken pasta was good! 4/5. It has good Alfredo sauce and good spices. It honestly isn't spicy whatsoever. Chicken was well seasoned and cooked. Nice choice. I recommend. Service was 5/5. Very nice servers. Very quick. No complaints here. Price was 3/5. Kind of pricy. My meal was $15. Eh. Pre meal: go to restroom to wash hands, there's no paper towels. I told a server on my way to my seat and he says oh I don't know what to do. Now, I eat Chili's often and have always had good experiences, however, today I did not. My server wasn't thrilled to have a party of 13, or so her attitude seemed. My entire order was wrong. From the appetizer to the dessert. I asked for no chives on dip. Comes out with chives. Ordered grilled shrimp as my entree with potatoes and corn...anyway after asking the manager to look into the situation, she was not very responsive or concerned. I'm not a Chili's fan, but ate here today with family. Unlike most experiences, the service was really great. Our waitress was always there when we needed, hooked my 5 year old up with her own queso, etc. Three of us had some variation of chicken fingers - very salty, but good. Kid's pizza looked tasty and my daughter ate most of it. Chips and salsa not as salty as soon locations (thankfully). Was able to get a table for 5 at noon with no wait on a Sunday - crowded when we left. We would return if in the area. read more

Welp this was the last trip to Chili's. Woulda preferred they just denied us service from the get go. Hostess told us 20 min sweet... We sat and waited an hour we were fixing to walk out and my little girl went and ask the hostess who then told us 1 min... the idea of waiting another 20 min at another restaurant persuaded us to stay. Shame on us 20 min later we got up to leave and buzzer rang to be seated. Sooo Shame on us twice... we were seated. We sat ordered drinks and queso, drinks came out chip and salsa came out we ate all the chips and salsa then the queso came out no chips. No refills. Apparently the waitress bailed another 30 or 40 min went by watching the guy at the bar and a lady behind the bar were chatting with the bar peoples. About to walk out again the bar man figured out we were dry came over asked what we needed I told him the check. Well right as i said that our food showed up Bar Man stepped it up got us some refills and chips to eat our cold Queso. Food was good and hot. Shame on us 3 times for actually staying... Ready to leave the stupid pay at the table kiosk was janked the table next to us paid our tab so we had to wait again while manager figured out how to fix it. Our tab was the full amount no apology or knock of 10% so I'm guessing Chili's on Gun-barrel rd felt like they did good customer service!!! Honestly, this is the best chili's around. Took a star just because it is a chain with pretty ho hum food. But it is dependable, service is good. Food is hot. My kids love coming here. The big mouth bites are really tasty and one of my favorites. Compared to other chili's, this one is a shining star. read more

Had a good experience, and it's not the first time. Only thing is the fries were a little too salty.

Had my husband and I not had a $25 gift card, we wouldn't have come here. That said....had we paid the initial bill (without gift card) of $55 we would have been extremely upset. I ordered the salmon and my husband ordered the ribeye. The salmon was good, just good not great, but the broccoli was severely over cooked (mush) and the rice was just plain. The ribeye was over cooked and the flavor was decent enough, but the mashed potatoes were cold, flavorless, and not creamy. The appetizer (the trio): western egg rolls were not crispy and were frankly under cooked, the fried pickles were absolutely fantastic and the crispy chicken crisps were also really good. Basically, this place is just alright and no where near the $55 we would have been charged. We'll definitely not ever go back. Sadly, it's so busy it's apparent the patrons had a limited taste pallet. read more

Yes its a chain but there is a reason it is popular. The food is pretty good and when they have specials, it well worth it. :)

I've picked up several large orders here - they are always missing something, dips, chips, plasticware, etc....and they can't seem to get the food ready on time despite ordering up to 1 hour in advance. My advice, don't use them for catering. This is not a jab at the food - it's good - it's the service. Not happy! read more

My favorite place Togo for a quick bite! Great prices and their menu keeps expanding! This is my 6 th time going there.

This restaurant really knows what people want. Also the service her is fast and efficient a perfect 4 stars in my book.

Food is usually good here .. every now and then it might be a little off but for the most part it's amazing !

I really enjoy Chili's, but this particular location needs a bit of work. First, the menus are almost always sticky, especially the menu dedicated to drinks and desserts. Second, every single time we've sat in the bar area the food service has been ridiculously slow. This happened to us 4 times before we finally gave up and decided to avoid the bar area altogether. Third, I have seen (on multiple occasions) wait staff caring out trays of food with the tray resting on their shoulder. This is fine, except when the staff members hair is touching the food that is on that side of the tray. It's nasty. Watch when your food is being delivered and hope your food isn't near the wait staff's head. Again, I really do like Chili's, but the Gunbarrel Road location can use a bit of help. read more
