Our server, Cesar, was very kind and took the time to small talk with our table. A+ on the customer service! I ordered the cheese fries, guacamole and chips, and a chicken salad. The cheese fries looked impressive but they only melted the cheese on top, so when it got to our table only the top layer was covered. The guacamole didnt have anything special going on with it. It tasted like store bought guacamole. The chicken was sweet and the chicken was cooked, but there wasn't anything that really stood out for my pallet. It had corn, beans and dry cheddar cheese. You'll see from the pictures that the presentation was really gorgeous, but sadly it didnt reflect the quality of the food. If it wasn't for the service, I would have rated this lower. I wouldn't recommend coming to chilies if you want comfort food. Better off going up the street to find a mom and pop owned resturant where they actually care about the quality of the food. read more

Plus if you join their rewards club, you get lots of specials through your email, and points everytime you dine at a Chillis that can be used to get free food items. Took advantage of their free delivery but didn't expect the food to come over an 1.5 from ordering! Order was placed at 5:50pm with an estimated time of delivery between 6:48-7:03. I would check status after the elapsed time and it went from 7:03 to 7:28 and then 7:34! I called and was placed on hold for 20min, and subsequently hung up. Delivery finally came @ 7:38! Well, we were tired of the same old food during this pandemic. I really wanted a crispy chicken sandwich and we ordered to go from Chili's. Wish I would have just saved my money and ate at home. We are huge chili's fans and go weekly. We had a great food experience and the waiter was great! BUT when it came time to pay the bill.... NOT COOL. On the bottom of our receipt it gave the gratuity recommendations.... with our bill only being about $26 I knew that those numbers were not adding up. 15%= $6? WHAT! No way. They have the tablet system where you can pay at your own convenience, but it doesn't have the function to call your server. I'm very surprised to give a Chili's a 4 star rating...generally every time I've eaten at one it's been awful. However, we are from out of town and my boyfriend was starving and this was the closest thing. We went in and were seated right away, the waitress was very friendly and attentive. The (I assume manager) was helping out the staff by delivering drinks, etc as well as someone else with delivering the food which was nice to see everyone being friendly and helping everyone out. I wasn't hungry so was just sharing some food, we got some chips and salsa, chicken wings, Mac n cheese for the kids and some Molton lava cake, all came out in a decent time and the food was actually hot...which generally doesn't happen at a chili's, lol. Don't recommend trying to take family to eat here on a school night (went tonight on a Thursday). It took 45 mins to be seated (we didn't mind waiting). We then we ordered all the food together (2 adult meals and 3 kids meals). The kids meals came out 1st within 30 mins of ordering but then after waiting an additional 30 mins for the adult meals (kids were done eating and ready for bed) we ended up having to leave because even after an hour from ordering our food (cheeseburger & bbq combo - nothing crazy) our food still wasn't ready! Never mind all the people sitting at the tables around us who arrived after us were all happily eating there meals with their families. So we had to pay way too much for the kids to eat and we didn't even get to have a meal with them. Let's start by saying something positive: the prices for happy hour are good prices. I had a $10 gift card that I wanted to use so we went to Chili's. We arrived at 8:45pm and the waitress ordered our drinks and food under the happy hour prices... great! The good quality is ok. Came out kind of fast. Wings came out with the ranch sauce licking on waitress hands. All over our dish, didn't take it back inside. The last time I visited here was good. But this time we've had a meetup group about 13 of us here, so we thought the Chili's nearby won't be so bad. Gee, the wait was super duper long, almost 1 hour until we sat at the table, two words, Bor and ing! When we ordered from a menu, our host said that we can have an entree and a drink for about $15, but a few of us kinda disagree, sorry! So first, we got Chips and Dip to start, it was tasty, only a bit pleasant. By then, I got the California Grilled Chicken Flatbread, and it was also good. I like on how the Chicken, Avocado, Bacon, Pico de gallo, and Sauce really connected to each other, but there was a little hair on my food, but I'm not so sure if it's mine, or somebody else's hair, Gross! But in the end, I did saved room for dessert, the Skillet Chocolate Chip Cookie, it was da BOMB when I putted the Ice Cream, Cookie, and Chocolate Syrup into my Mouth, Happy Dance!!! Sooo...I've never been much of a Chili's fan. I've only eaten there a couple times, and the food doesn't do much for me. Nonetheless, because it's conveniently down the street from my place, I decided to give it one more chance. The service was fine, nothing to write home about, but it didn't suck either. The same goes for the quality of food. I didn't hate what I ordered, but I didn't love it at the same time. Pretty mediocre. The portions are huge, which is good if you're a linebacker or someone who hasn't eaten in 3 days. It's bad for me, however, because I'm a person with a smaller appetite who refuses to bring home leftovers because I know I'll forget to eat it. I almost forgot to write this but this is way over due. We come here maybe once or twice a month with my parents. The usual Sunday bar food lunch grub after church. Our last visit was special because our waitress Reina or (Reyna) sorry for the spelling, took great care of us. She made sure everything was right with our orders and our drinks were always filled. We never had to look around for her, she was always ready. I had my back turned away from the bar tv to watch the football game. So she noticed I had to always turn around to see the action. She quickly asked what game I was following and had the nearest tv I was facing switched to that game. Great service makes a big difference. I am heart broken. What happened to this location? Came on Friday, October 30 around 8pm. A seat in the entry had a spill underneath with dirty papers on it and an empty mug with slush and a lipsticked straw. I would of left right then if I was alone. It was not busy, but we waited. A layer of dust all along the wood. The table we were shown had crumbs, so I asked that it be wiped. As I sat down, I noticed built up dirt on the table around the condiments and menu holders. I settled for the wiping down of the main parts of the table. Man, did I want to leave Deep fried pickles were bomb. My Ancho Salmon was excellent, the first cup of coffee gross, the second better. The rest of the party enjoyed their meal. When we left, the mess in the entryway was still there and dirtier. Until this place cleans up its act, I'll drive out to Otay Ranch for my next meal at Chili's. I can't wait to come back when it does read more

The Triple Dipper appetizer plate was excellent. We ordered chicken crispers, southwest eggrolls, and burger sliders. In the past, the southwest eggrolls have been my favorite; but the chicken crispers hit the spot - fresh moist juicy meat and crunchy coating. I haven't dined at ANY Chili's in a long time, I tend to avoid the big chain restaurants (though I have a few favorites that rarely let me down)... but it was a late after work dinner with my hubby and Chili's was the best choice. Our waiter "Shaun" was friendly, prompt, and professional. It's refreshing and nice to see that customer service is still a priority, along with some good grub. :-) By the way... the Watermelon Lemonade was delicious. Meh. On a whim yesterday, we went here for dinner. Service was great but food was gross. Everything we ordered was disgusting from the appetizers to the fajitas, rice and beans.
