Came to this Chili's after work for a girls night of catching up. It's probably about 15 years since I have been to any Chili's. I got the triple dipper that had different options. I HAD to try the big mozzo block! Oh my goodness, it did not disappoint! I got the flavor honey chipotle for the mozzo and the Nashville Hot chicken crispers... the sauces are sooooooo good!!! I also got the bug mouth bites which I was very impressed that they were juicy with sauce and not plain. The service was good, no complaints. The prices were great and the drinks were also tasty! I would definitely go back again! OH! AND THE SIDE OF CORN ON THE COB, SUPERB!

Monthly Margarita Specials

Our server was very kind but the restaurant was super busy so service was slow at times. Glindarita was fire though

Plastic tag baked into chicken crisper.

The WORST chilis experience ever! Terrible service. We were a table of 5 ppl. The server brought two plates with the apps and said they would be back with more plates; he didn't come back. Then all of food was wrong (some were missing a whole tender, sides were wrong, sauces wrong) server was not attentive. They would leave before we could ask for something, like "need anything?" "Yeah a diet co-" you couldn't finish the words and they were gone. AND THEN my friend found PLASTIC in her chicken crisper. Manager took care of the bill because of our experience but it doesn't excuse the lack of hospitality.

Happy hour hours

Food tasted great! Seasoned fries and the smash burger was amazing! Ambiance was good and the staff was very attentive. Our server Dan was on point. The managers stopped by a couple of times asking if we needed anything and asked if everything was OK. I would come back and enjoy the all day happy hour on Saturday and Sunday. I was very impressed as it's been years since I've been to a Chili's. I would come back here over Applebee's any day!

If you set your expectations low upon entering, you will not be disappointed. It's Chilis- it's a chain restaurant that serves Mexican food and good frozen margaritas! I've been here a few times and I've always found the restaurant to be clean. There's a small bar area, several large tables, and tons of booths all around. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and are never hard to find. The food is consistently piping hot, and served quickly! We almost always start off with chips and queso or salsa which is always a hit! I've had several items from the menu and they've all be delicious. This restaurant is 100% kid friendly which is a plus!! The prices here are fair. There's normally some type of promotion going on so be on there look out for that! This is no 5 star restaurant but it's still good nonetheless! You will leave satisfied and full and your wallet will be happy, too!

Ribs with the rub

I hadn't visited a Chili's in a long time but I must say that I was pleasantly surprised . The ribs were juicy with a really good rub that had a hint of sweetness to it. My blackberry margarita was perfect. The plan is to go again tonight.

Chili's, baby back

I can't remember a single bad experience with the possible exception of when they were first figuring out how to serve to go orders during COVID and they forgot part of our order. Parking: Plenty of parking available…read more Service: There was about a 20 minute wait when we went at 6:30pm on a Saturday. My husband put our name in for a party of four and gave his phone number for the text notification but the hostess accidentally entered us as a party of two. Thankfully, the table that was ready was large enough for four but it could have caused an issue. As a note, she remembered and realized she mistyped it and apologized immediately. Our waiter was friendly, though the service had a few hiccups. My chicken quesadilla (which I ordered as my entrée) came out well before everyone else's meals. When boxing leftovers, he asked whether I wanted the sides, sour cream, and salsa included. I said no, but when I opened the container the next day, everything had been packed together anyway. Food: The chicken quesadilla was delicious and generously filled with shredded chicken. Drinks: The frozen strawberry margarita was excellent. It was filled to the brim and stronger than what you typically get at a restaurant. Overall, I'm chalking the service issues up to it being a busy Saturday night. We'd still happily return to Jose Tejas whenever we're in the area.

The food came out pretty quickly. The server/bartender was really nice and helpful. I asked her what SHE likes here, and she mentioned fajitas. So I got the Mexican Corn Fajita. When I got up to my room with it, I was kind of disappointed that there was no meat in there, but I realize that the menu didn't say squat about meat. My mistake. HOWEVER... that was an amazing dish. Every single part of the meal, from the rice, the black beans, to the small included side of guacamole and the fajita meal... wow. I ate almost everything. I couldn't stop. It was really, really good, and I would absolutely get it again. The mexican corn was flavored in a really authentic way, along with peppers, onion, tomato. I'm really impressed. I should go down and try a frozen drink but I'm too damned full.

After being seated, I walked around the premises and saw a large room for private events, a vast area for outdoor seating, very nice wall artistry, and even a good-sized individual room for a private meal. Shyam was an exceptional Server. He took very good care of us and contributed to an enjoyable meal. I started with a Classic Margarita and it was served in a LARGE glass. So large, that I had to hand over the car keys, afterwards. The Fat Cactus complimentary chips and salsa was AMAZING. First, the salsa had chunks of tomato, onions, and lots of basil. It was so throughly enjoyed, that we asked for a second helping, which they gladly obliged. Our selections were: Chicken Tortilla Soup (Rich chicken broth flavored with onions, tomatoes, corn, black beans, finished with a dash of cream, crispy tortilla chips, avocado, sour cream, and cheese). This soup was served in a deep bowl, had a very nice presentation, and every spoonful was flavorful. The next item was the Burrito Michoacano (Shredded chicken seasoned with authentic Mexican spices, Mexican rice, black beans, pico de gallo, cheese, and chili arbol sauce). This Burrito was huge, all of the ingredients were well seasoned, and I took some home to enjoy during the NFL playoffs. The final item was the Tamales Chicken Pastor (Homemade masa tamales, stuffed with Chicken Al Pastor, served with red enchilada sauce, and topped with creamy sour cream). I'm glad, that I discovered Fat Cactus and will definitely revisit and/or dine at their New Brunswick location.

They weren't playing the game on all the screens and above everything else it was way too hot in there!!!! the AC must've been off or damaged because everybody was sweating and it was intolerable how hot it was! And then the food came out really really fast which makes me believe that. Maybe it was just sitting there because there's no way that I ordered shrimp and then literally 2 1/2 minutes later it came out. The other thing was I ordered enchiladas bandejas and it was out under five minutes!! Makes me cautious for next time. But even if the food was good, I wouldn't go back because it was just too darn hot!
