I am so sad to be writing this review but it's been on my mind for a few days. On Saturday May 8th we popped into our local favorite Chili's for a late lunch. Not noon, not 5:30 pm, 2:30 ish. We walked into the bar like always and found an absolute mess. Dirty tables, sticky floors, supplies and extra tables piled around and it just smelled bad. Now I realize that these are unusual circumstances, but let's be real. This isn't necessary. Yes, you're short staffed. Yes you have to take out tables and chairs. Yes, you may have to close the bar top. But you can still clean tables, mop floors and tidy up areas not being used. On top of all this, the bartender ignored us until we asked if the bar area was open (not one guest was in there). He snapped at us and told us to check in with the hostess. I walked straight out the front door while hubby tried to located said hostess. After 5 or 6 minutes he gave up and came to find me outside. Sadly, we just left. I miss my local hangout. I miss the funny, friendly banter in the bar. I hope this review gets someone's attention because you won't survive if you stay like this. read more

Grilled tacos to go Black Beans Mac & Cheese and salad side of Chile Lime Rice, way over rate. You get very little fish on the tacos and just a little sliver of what they call avocado. The rice taste more of like sage rice than Chile Lime.The Mac & Cheese sauce should be a little more dense. Cheesy fries while go flavor if you get it to go it sticks real bad to the foil, better of if it was in a cup Not one of favorite places to go. read more

I came to Chillies for dinner, not expecting too much of the food, since it's a chain restaurant. I started out with chips and salsa. Both where smothered in salt. I asked for less salted chips and they came out the same. I tried asking for unsalted chips and what I got was a basket of chips so shiny from oil, they made MrClean's forehead look dull. Yuck. For the main course I ordered the sirloin steak. The mashed potatoes on the side where cold and the steak was so dull and tasteless, I had airplane food that tasted better. One of the worst experiences I have had. Went in with the family. When our food came out, all of our veggies were raw and not cooked. Ordered a medium well steak and it came out medium rare. The chicken tasty like rubbery dough. My sons burger was okay but again his veggies were raw. They brought a new plate for the steak. Asked for a new dish for the chicken. Ordered a black bean burger with fries. I'm not even kidding you, they brought us a regular burger with fries! I don't know how you can mess up so much stuff during a dining experience. The other night my sons and I ate dinner here. Service was excellent, I don't remember my server's name, but wish I did because she was so good! She brought refills for our table without us having to ask, we were abiut 3/4 of a ways down and she'd have a refill for us! She had checked up on us multiple times throughout our visit. I really appreiated her. Our food also came out great, no complaints! The visit went so smooth! Anyways, I had ordered food to go for my husband when we had finished our meal. I had forgotten I did so, and left. Drove all the way back to our hometown, about 25 mins away, and was doing some shopping when I had realized I forgot my husband's food that I'd already paid for! It was about 8:30 pm when I had left the store and called from the store parking lot to see how late they were open, and speak to the to go person. She was wonderful too. They got another order going for me, we drove out to get it..and while we were waiting, I found out the manager was taking care of our order. She had come out and verified it was me that they were making the new order for.. I asked her for extea ranch and bleu cheese because my husband is particular, and she was so kind about it and did just that. My husband was very happy with the amount he got. The manager even offered for us to sit in our vehicle and she'd bring it out to us. I'm the one inconveniencing them, yet they were so service oriented and kind about it. Such a great experience. It's chili's, me and the wife went here to get dinner together. Sat us rather quick, which is nice however my wife asked for 2 different sides and the waitress said not a problem it will be extra so we said that's fine, she didn't feel like corn on the cob or fries so paying a little extra for what you want is always expected. Welp we got our food and they didn't chance her sides, I asked for ranch and it never came out. We didn't see our waitress again for a while ask for the right sides so my wife said screw it and ended up eating the fries. Well the bill came and they still tried to charge us for the changed sides. The waitress did fix it but it was annoying which is why I took away stars. Hopefully they can get it right next time if there is one. We always have a problem here. Might not go back. read more

There's always an issue at this location. Unfortunately this is the closest location from my house so I make the mistake of returning hoping they'll get it together. Save your time and visit the location off the 210 freeway & campus, you'll have way better service. read more

Arrived at noon...not busy @ all. Unlike most eateries, they had plenty of staff. My OG Hipnotized Car Club sisters met for our annual Christmas gift exchange. Our waiter Anthony *only 3 months in* was theeeeee best! He was so patient *different tickets* because some of us (ok mostly me) were quite specific in their ordering. He was so nice and HAPPY which was a shock. We were there for 4 hours and he still had an attitude of service!!! No mistakes were made! All of our food was correctly prepared. I even spoke with the manager (Brandon (?)) also new to the store, to let him know how pleased we were. Now on the $$$ portion of this visit: 3 for $10 is now $10.99. El Presidente is normally $5, now its $6. And it appears that everything has gone up a buck or two (didn't really pay attention lol I was hungry. I was so hungry I didn't even take pictures of my food. Smh and because I was hungry. Ohhhhh and I can't skip this little portion of "tea" ...they no longer carry THOUSAND ISLAND salad dressings. I almost perished right there in my chair! Needless to say, I still loved my salad. Food quality was good. Food temp and taste was good. Quantity of food was nicely proportion. I'm very disappointed in the food I ordered from Chili's! First off we picked up our food , we got home washed our hands we immediately started to eat cold food.I go to stir my loaded potatoes and I notice something in the middle, so I thing what is this ice. I'm very dissatisfied thinking wow this is not fresh food , I start trying to break it and it's a huge piece of plastic. I immediately call to let them know to check there kitchen so nobody else gets it in there food. I never got a call back or even an apology. I paid 69 for a Easter meal my family didn't even enjoy. I I'm usually happy with there food , but I will never order curbside from them again! It was definitely not to standard! Fast food would've tasted better and a whole lot cheaper! The rewards program is a scam, received notification that I had earned free chips and salsa with my meal. Upon finishing our meal we were presented with the bill and charged for the chips and salsa, we were told that our meals didn't qualify for this reward and should have read the fine print that was not visible on the offer, but had to scroll to another page to see it. Very disappointed that the server didn't make us aware of the limitations of this free offer. Don't plan on returning due this bad experience. read more

Approximately 10 years ago I stopped going to Chili's, and I started going back about two months ago. Last month an employee answered, and I explained I wanted to order a To Go order. After being placed on hold for approximately 11 minutes , a different employee came on the line and took my order. Yesterday, I placed an order the electricity went out and my order was lost. This evening I waited 6.54 minutes before my To Go order was taken. According to the restaurant manager, Sophia, she is ALWAYS at work, but I am uncertain what she is doing. On average it takes over five minutes to place a To Go order. Also, the floor of the restaurant and the To Go area is extremely dirty. The floors of this restaurant need to be pressure wash. I told the manager I was going to give the restaurant the review they have earned, she gave me about a $3.00 discount off the bill. My husband and I and another couple went to this location on Valentines day and had excellent service from Adrian he was our server that night and went above and beyond to make sure we were tooken care of he is very polite very professional and has a great sense of humor i will definitely be back and because of this experience and hopefully get Adrian as our server again. HAIR IN FOOD!! I live down the street and would come here all the time for drinks and today me and a friend came for lunch and there was two long hairs in his food. The manager Blake was so rude and wouldn't even comp his meal. I stopped going to Chilis a few years back after a few bad experiences. My adult daughter talked me into going tonight (it's her favorite) so I did it for her. We did the curbside pickup, which generally doesn't lend itself to bonding with the "server" but the young lady helping us, Kirsten, was fantastic. She was helpful, funny, smart and so nice! I was back to being a fan of Chilis before I even got it home and had a taste of the food. The food was fine, but the service was amazing. read more

Ordering off their app was easy, I was going to have Door Dash deliver but they said I live too far away (12 mins ???), it was a nice evening so I elected pickup..... Pasta was really good, chips were really salty. Burgers was good. Problem I have is how cold the food was, I dont live far from here, and food must have been seating a bit. They should work on timing more. They said about 20 mins, we were there in 15 mins waited I parking lot. Food must have been seating a bit before it was given to us. Watery soda also. Should I start with the good or the bad!? GOOD: Our server was fantastic! Personable, attentive and considerate of me dining with three children under age 7. He did a wonderful job of keeping me informed of our order's status, and once we had our food he kept checking back to make sure I didn't need anything. BAD: The food was terrible in every way imaginable. Not fresh, not pleasing to the eye; French fries were cold and looked like they had been sitting around all afternoon - we were dining at 5:25pm on a Saturday; the kid's meal pasta was cold, as well. My sandwich could not even be picked up because the bread was complete mush, and the lettuce was barely recognizable from being so wilted. I could go on, but you get the idea. The Chili's chain is usually one of my go-to places when I'm traveling around California, and I rarely have a bad experience, but this location was a huge disappointment. My previous review was because my my guacamole & salsa containers were half full. No one reached out to me. My current problem was not addressed eventhough I emailed the company directly. They literally gave me like 15 fries & a burger that wasnt even warm enough to melt the cheese. Prior to this my daughter & I ate there & requested a booth that was empty & was told they needed it for a larger party but watched as 3 different parties of 2 got the booth. I spend way to much money to get questionably service. Seriously, JUST OK! Sadly, we've visited this spot several times, and it is nearly always a complete HIT or an absolute MISS! For a while there, I dreaded coming here because of a clueless hostess who had the entire restaurant in a state of utter confusion. Someway or another, we'd always end up "forgotten" when this hostess was the one seating us. Fortunately, she is no longer working here, but the service is, sadly, not as consistent as it should be. The food has never been an issue (hence the OKness). I really enjoy their chips and guacamole, and they have several entrees that I am a fan of. I like the tex-mex pairing menu, as well as the fajitas. Can't go wrong with those. They also used to have this amazingly delicious watermelon lemonade, but I'm not sure where that went. The place itself can be really dirty at times. Tables not clean for a while, etc. You never really know what you're going to get on any given day. My best advice, cross your fingers before you walk in and hope it's a good visit! On that note, I'll probably be back, eventually, when the bad experiences aren't so clear in my memory and I am sick of Applebees. The end. read more
