The only reason I am giving this review one star is because the food was decent. Unfortunately, I cannot say anything good about the service at this particular restaurant. The server (Ernie) was either having a very bad night, or he was brand new at his job. His service was extremely poor and very disappointing. He was drenched with sweat when he first introduced himself to us. After we got our food, it took him FOREVER to come back to our table to check on us before we were able to ask him for a side of ranch dressing. My wife ordered a second drink and the drink took so long that she did not get it until after she finished her meal. When Ernie brought us the check, he placed it facedown on a small puddle of water, rendering the check soggy and hardly legible. To top it off, he forgot to return my credit card to me, which I did not realize until I left the restaurant. When I return to the restaurant to retrieve my credit card, Ernie had a bit of an attitude with me, even though it was his fault and not mine. Furthermore, Ernie said his manager (whom the hostess identified as "Mike") had the credit card, as Ernie walked to the kitchen to summon the manager to return my card. Moments later, Ernie came back with my card and handed it to me without saying a word of apology. I stood there expecting the manager to come and talk to me but he never showed up. I decided that it was a lost cause and left the establishment. If you're going to dine at a Chili's, go to a different one and not this one on Summit. Better yet, go to Applebee's on Sierra Lakes Parkway where the service is 10 times better. read more

Terrible to go experience! I ordered curbside pickup...I arrived a few minutes before my scheduled time and checked in. I waited about 10 minutes no one ever came out so I went in. My order was ready and had been sitting on the rack. I only live five minutes away... by the time I got home the ice had melted in two of the three drinks, the food was cold and the well done burger was really pink inside. The only positive with this order is they remembered the extra ranch. This isn't the first time the to go order was disappointing but it is the last time I'll order from this location. read more

WILL NEVER GO TO THIS CHILI'S EVER AGAIN. Horrible service. We had two servers helping me and my fiancé. The servers asked us if we are ready to order before we even peaked at the menu. We felt rushed to order. When we finally ordered an appetizer and two entrees, our entrees came first and the appetizer arrived when we were just about finished with our meal. The servers never asked us if we needed refills after passing by our table multiple times. The manager became involved with the late appetizer and comp it for us, and the manager offered us refills. The refills NEVER came. I hope this place goes out of business and they make it into more parking for the Stater Bro's and 5Guys. read more

Let me start by saying the bartender was ok... service was slow, but let's get to the food! We ordered the trio platter after waiting a long time to get our food when it came out it didn't have dipping sauces, I got the buffalo chicken, egg rolls, and awesome blossom ( wasn't all that awesome) and when I took one bite of the buffalo chicken it was still frozen in the middle, and all the rest of the chicken was cold... after sending it back and finally getting hot buffalo chicken we were already full and wasn't worth the wait... when we got the bill the manager Blake never tried to compensate the bill for the cold chicken or long wait so I had to say something... Blake thought it was great to take care of 50% of the no sauce having cold chicken trio... I would say this 1st chilies experience was not great and would not recommend this to my friends! read more

More than 4 other parties of at least four were seated AFTER us, served promptly and left BEFORE any of our food came. I'm really bummed with the service I received here. I came here for my birthday and our waitress took our order but never came back to check on us or offer refills after we received our drinks and food. We even had to stop a busboy and order more drinks and napkins from him which he provided to us promptly. Bravo to the busboy! I'm not coming back here. The water used to make the soda was the same nasty tasting crap. I didn't drink it after one sip. The appetizer, spinach and artichoke dip, was okay but the chips tasted like someone dipped the bucket of chips in a salt bath. It made us thirsty but we couldn't drink the water! The food finally arrived almost 50 mins later....I had enough. I spoke with the manager, Mike, about the issues. He acknowledged that they were having an issue with their water ALL DAY. Wtf. If you knew this, why expose your customers to it without compensating or offering bottled water?! For all I know, I could have been exposed to some nasty mold or God forbid E. coli in the water! Seriously, do businesses not give a shit anymore? Worst experience ever. The manager comped our dinner, but the damage was done. This place didn't squeeze a penny out of us, and for good reason. Some of the worst food ever made! At least the beers are good. Only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is the "regulars" who keep coming back to the bar. Alright, I concur with the majority of the other reviewers here, but I rarely give a One Star rating. This establishment should, perhaps, be rated with the lowest possible marks, but I'll give the waitress credit for the additional Star. I will say their Ribeye Steak is better than what you could normally find in the UK. But, that's really not saying much. The Brits do two things marginally well: Fish and Chips. Steaks in the UK are overcooked, cow biscuits. I was a bit surprised at how leathery and gristly their Ribeye was here. I was almost nostalgic and homesick. I thought I'd never find a steak quite as bad as the ones I get back home. Though I ordered it medium rare, and because it was so thin, it was essentially well-done. Hideous. It was the colour of dried dung with grill marks scored into it. And they didn't have any Bombay Sapphire gin for a proper martini. Again, I remind the good reader that I am well aware of where I was. This was Chili's. I knew it wasn't Morton's or Ruth's Chris or Flemings. My expectations were already low. I bumped into my friend at the gym, so after our workout we decided to eat dinner and catch up. I ordered the healthy chicken plate with black beans and brown rice. I didn't realized that I was that hungry to the point I finished my entire dish. There was no leftovers this time and it wasn't a small meal either. With that being said her timing was impeccable and she anticipated our every need before we had to ask. She is an asset to to store and sets the standards of what customers want in a server! Bad service, slow. This place makes the DMV look like a McDonald's drive thru. I do not know who is the manager nor the kitchen cook but some major issues here. If you read the Yelp reviews, the biggest and most consistent complaint is about bad service/slow food. Unfortunately, I agree. Chil's food is Chili's food, you know what you are getting. However, the service is very poor and needs some serious changes. My advice: Go elsewhere unless you feel like waiting 2 hours for mediocre food. read more

I came here for lunch on a Sunday. Order baby back ribs (half), fajitas (the mixed), and kid's cheese pizza. Baby back ribs were VERY VERY dry and over cooked. Barely had any meat on the ribs. It was mostly bone. The fajitas weren't too bad. Had few steak, chicken, and shrimp chunks but I wouldn't call it good either. There's not enough meat for the onions though. The cheese pizza, the dough was so thick! It was just like a thick dough with some pizza sauce and cheese on it. I'm not sure if that can even be consider a good pizza. Don't know how you can mess up on pizza anyway. Their free salsa and chips were the best. House salsa was really good If service was good, maybe it would've made up for the bad food and I would've given another star.. First, the food took forever to come out. Never had bad luck with the food here. Have been making my way through the Southwest Pairings portion of the menu. Last night had the green chile chicken enchilada and beef taco. Not disappointed. My wife had the grilled salmon and said it was cooked perfectly. I come to Chili's after church with my grandmother. I order a Santa Fe Chicken Salad, grilled. Something I get regularly at Chili's and when my meal arrives my chicken is questionable looking. My meat isn't grilled all the way, it looks pale and it's not all the way warm. My very observant waiter asks if there is a problem and suggest the crispy chicken instead. I agree to the crispy chicken but when I receive my 'New' salad it has crispy chicken on top but there is grilled chicken pieces still in it. I didn't receive a new salad at all, my grilled chicken was just replaced (poorly) with crispy chicken. I declined my salad all together and my grandma was embarrassed but I couldn't do that to myself. I couldn't eat food that I questioned.
