I've never felt so grossed out being somewhere. We walked in and we're greeted by the host who was falling asleep at the stand. I could not even see his face, his hair was covering it. It did not feel welcoming. The servers were kind but man! As we were sat, we noticed trash all over the floor and as our server came to take our order he kicked the dirty napkins under a booth. Everything seemed unclean and sticky. We thought hey, the kids are starving and so are we, let's just stay and try . The food was okay...my salad had old lettuce I had to pick through, my husbands burger was pressed and burnt and had mayo on it though it shouldnt have, and the avocado up charge is ridiculous considering he was given one slice. My husband informed our server who did promptly apologize and explained there should've been four slices and he went back to get more. He returned with two thinly sliced pieces of avocado that were browning and the second slice wasn't even a full slice it was like a half. The only person that seemed content was a baby because he was eating tortilla chips and obviously too young to realize even my six year old wasn't into his burger. We will not be returning and it was the kind of experience where you left nauseated and regretting walking in. McDonald's would have been better. read more

I guess I was the one who made a mistake by going when they were not busy. When I walked in I had to stand at the hostess area for literally 5 minutes looking for someone, finally someone came out and seated me. After I had ordered and waited for my food I watched this happened to the next 2 parties that come in. One gentleman got seated at the bar and nobody came to help him AT ALL. He ended up getting up and leaving. How mad would corporate be if they knew this terrible service was going on at this store. Someone would be losing this job for sure. This is by far the worst chilis I have been to, minus the one in Destin which is now permanently closed. Unfortunately we find ourselves here more often than we'd like since it's one of the cheaper places with a variety of things on the menu. 9 times out of 10 we have to wait for a table on a week night while staring at empty tables. Tonight there were literally 15+ empty tables and more than 6 groups of people waiting. This location has no idea how to properly operate. We left instead of waiting since prior dinners have shown that it is not worth waiting for. read more

Mediocre. Just mediocre. Let me begin. My husband and I walked into the restaurant. We weren't greeted and I didn't see a host within sight. We decided to sit ourselves at the bar. The server we had was nice, but didn't introduce herself. Didn't offer appetizers, didn't offer desserts, didn't check to see if our meals were good. Nada. Usually when a server doesn't introduce himself/herself, it makes me wanna take 2 bucks off your tip. You should always introduce yourself. She was on point with getting us refills though. I got the full rack of ribs with house BBQ sauce, steamed broccoli, and sweet corn on the cob. The steamed broccoli looked and tasted somewhat raw. The sweet corn on the cob was more salty than anything. And the ribs. A portion of my ribs was missing BBQ sauce and the ribs were saltier than I would have liked them. The presentation was decent. It wasn't a bad visit but it wasn't an amazing I have to rave about it visit. If I was a secret shopper, this restaurant definitely would have failed that thing. read more

My food honestly wasn't that bad. I get the soup and salad, and it's great. This time though, I had a less than ideal situation with one of the waitstaff: ally. She saw me walk in with my boyfriend and young son, and at one point I was walking my SIX YEAR OLD to the bathroom, I overhead her saying "I don't even know why the fuck she's here". She continued to give dirty looks my way, which was just uncomfortable, as I was there with my child and boyfriend and just wanted to eat and go home. I had specifically asked to be sat anywhere but here section, so I was hardly there to have any FaceTime but to hear her using expletives at work, around my son, was just really upsetting, immature and incredibly unprofessional. I know this Chili's is struggling, so maybe they should consider that it's who they hire, that is the issue? The entire experience was sub-par from the moment we arrived. We called ahead and reserved a table for our group, but they would not seat us until at least half the group arrived. We decided to wait in the bar and waited forever for the bartender to acknowledge us with her "charming personality." She was confused about our drink order (dry vodka martinis), which are pretty basic for most bartenders. She ended up giving us a glass of olive juice with a splash of vodka and had a very annoyed attitude. Then, we ordered two-for-one well drinks at the table, which finally arrived after 15 minutes. The waiter brought both the drinks at once, so the second ones were watered down by the time we got to them. As soon as we finished eating, the waiter returned and asked us to settle up our bill, basically rushing us out the door. In a word--AWFUL. Food was mediocre at best, lukewarm, over-cooked. Their wait staff are beyond rude. We asked the price of a particular drink and we're told by our server he didn't have a clue, so we asked if he could find out and he stated "were not a martini bar". After placing our food order, he had to come back twice because he kept forgetting what we ordered. Then a few minutes later another server walks up to our table, puts down an appetizer and two plates. We didn't order it and told her we thought she had the wrong table. She picks up the plates and food WITHOUT A WORD and just walks away. We were there around 3:30 and there were about a dozen other tables with customers, so they weren't slamming busy. No excuse. This is the second time I've had a bad experience at this Chili's, there won't be a third. read more

We recently Moved back to this area a few months ago and have visited this location a few times. Lastnight, my father in law was in town and we decided to go to Chilis to eat. We ordered our appetizer and it was brought at a fast pace which was nice. We waited what it seemed like foreve for my husband and father in laws beers and my long island. We were aware it was happy hour 2/1 but I honestly not sure why they bring both drinks at once. The beer got warm and the ice in my second drink was melting. The servers were nice enough but once again my 3 yr olds meal came when we were finished with our food. The past 3 times we have been there it has come when everyone else is done. Of course by that time he was full on chips and dip and our food so he wanted nothing to do with his meal. Its hard to explain to a 3 yr old why everyone else has their food and he does not. Also, i saw someone walking around sweeping but when i looked around to my left there were pieces of trash and food particles all under the booths in plain sight. It did not look the cleanest to me. I give this place one star hoping to catch someone's attention as our service was absolutely horrible. Went and ate there yesterday evening around 630pm on June 23 2016. Our server was a male, no idea was his name was as he didn't say. As someone who works in the service industry I was very disappointed in the service at this place!!! I had sweet tea which was empty majority of the time. The manager and our server passed us several times. The manager refilled another tables tea but just walked past our table while mine remained empty. When we finally told our server that I would like some more tea he didn't even put ice in it. It was hot sweet tea. I couldn't even drink it. He never checked on us not one time. Then he tried to apologize because he claimed he got "busy" umm 5 tables is not busy!!! That's slow. When you're running a dining room with 11+ tables and you're the only server then your busy. When he handed us back our card for us paying he didn't look at us, he slid it on the table and said have a good one as he was still walking. SOOOO unprofessional!!! I will never go back there. If I could give this place zero stars, I would. As soon as I walked through door, I noticed the floor was dirty. When the hostess was walking us to our booth there wasn't anything on the table, like it had just been cleared off to be cleaned--but it wasn't clean. It was disgustingly sticky & when my boyfriend asked our waitress for a tag to clean it off, she handed him the rag and I held up our chips and queso dip (was actually really good) as he cleaned our table. When salads came out, my boyfriend grabbed his knife to cut it up, and his knife was disgusting---clearly visibly dirty. The tomatoes in my salad tasted sour. After the first bite with a tomato I was done with my salad. I got the "Big Mouth Bites" & my burger was not cooked all the way, but since I was starving at this point, I decided it was cooked enough to eat. The only thing I probably had the most comfort in forgetting was the PBR I got that because it came in a can but I did end up pouring it in a glass so there's no telling how counter productive that was. Point blank this place is gross and dirty and it's too bad because our waitress was really cool and good at her job, I wish I could remember her name because I'd probably look her up on Facebook and advise her to look into working at a different restaurant. read more

My family met for lunch at Chili's on Mary Esther. The hostess was really nice, she made sure to include crayons for my niece, and offered us a large booth. Our servers were quick to offer beverages and starters. We ALWAYS order chips and salsa - it's a must! Just about the time we finished off the chips and salsa our orders arrived. Everything was hot, and looked wonderful. You know it's a great meal when the kids clean their plates! Service was great, food was delicious, and the restrooms were clean, all important factors for me when dining out. We will definitely be back! read more

I have only visited this restaurant one other time and it was years ago. I looked forward to this visit because I wanted a change from all of the other places I frequent. Our party dined on an early Saturday afternoon and the place was pretty packed. Having said that, it took quite a while for us to receive our food. This wouldn't have been so bad but all of the tables around us received their food before us, even the ones with the same amount of folks in their party as we had, and we'd even arrived and ordered before they did. I really think that our waitress, who was pretty nice, kind of forgot to put our order in initially. Anyway, our nice waitress' demeanor went downhill a bit after our orders arrived and here's why. One of the people in our party ordered (bone-in) wings and was brought boneless tenders. When the disappointed diner pointed this out to her, she seemed to become a bit miffed about it. Although she offered to send the order back for the correct food, we didn't have any more time to spare so the offer was refused. But the waitress' attitude stayed sour for the rest of the visit, which I found to be quite odd. But outside of that and the slow service this day I thoroughly enjoyed my food and would entertain returning. read more

If I'm going to go to one of these Fern Bar type places(Chili's..Friday's..Ruby's..Bennigan's etc) where all the food was prepared a 1000 miles away and it is just reheated on site,I have always preferred Chili's..What makes them better than the rest of the lot?..I think it's because they realize what they do well and don't try and get too fancy by serving 20 dollar plus steaks..seafood dishes..rib and chicken combos..etc. like others of this ilk try and do..Chili's just sticks to basics like all the normal appetizers..soups...salads..hamburgers...sandwiches...quesidillas..fajitas..and their famous baby back ribs....none of it raises the bar in food cuisine but it is always consistently pretty tasty which is all I expect here...Chili's Soups have always been a standout and some of the best are their Chicken Tortilla...Chicken Enchilada..and their Chili...but all the soups are pretty tasty....Chili's Lunch Menu flexibility these days is a real value as well as they will pretty much let you make a combination of any of their soups..salads..sandwiches and appetizers for under 8 bucks and give you a good portion of both...this particular store always seems to be crowded but the service is always pretty quick and friendly and another good option is just to sit in the bar where it's always 2 for 1 drinks and eat in there...I don't come here often but when I do I am usually happy with the meal as it's tasty and it's fairly inexpensive..definitely worth a stop if you are in the area read more

I'm not a big fan of chain restaurants. However, last week I decided to give it a try and was impressed by both the service and the food quality. Although I had to wait to be seated, the food came out less than 15mins after ordering and didn't taste thrown together. I ordered chicken fingers that were so tender they had to be eaten with a fork, however the french fries had a very distinctive freezer taste, but the cole slaw made up for it. The dessert was good but not something I would pay for again. Like I said, this isn't comparable to a privately owned hole in the wall, but I would definitely eat here again, which is something I can't say for any of it's competitors. read more

I went there with three other friends around 9 and we had this server that was bald and had a beard. He didn't refill our drinks until we asked and when our food came out there was two extra tacos ( two people ordered the chicken tacos ) he claimed they were his but pushed them to take them because he already brought them to the table. So we took them and the two people with tacos each took one. The next day they had food poisoning. When almost done with our food, we asked for a refill and we sat by the kitchen which has a reflector and I could see him making the drink. He filled the cup up, drank from it, then filled it back up and brought it to our table. The service was terrible and I would recommend not going. read more

Very horrible, the service was the worst ever received by anyone. We went to chili's because we had a ten dollar gift card and thought we would try it out for our anniversary and it just made the rest of the day horrible. First thing is the food, they cook her steak too rare and mine to well done, they forgot my shrimp and when I got it the little bowl was so hot like it was microwaved and not to mention the shrimp was like rubber and had to much spice that it seemed like they were trying to cover the fact that it was microwaved, the steak was amazing on the first bite and then lost flavor as I ate more, and the steak was more like a garnish for the ton of asparagus underneath it. Clearly the cook never had any culinary training. The waitress, who's name was as josh's wife on the bill when I looked at it when I left, also seated us close to the kitchen which is the worst seating ever in any place even though the place was almost empty. You are also suppose to remove plates before putting new ones down which created a very crowed table. When we tried to ask for a menu to chose a dessert the waitress pointed out that we could chose on little computer screen they at each table but my girlfriend wanted a real menu which why we asked, and once the waitress came back we asked again for a real menu and again she mentioned the computer screen and out of mild anger we ordered the what we thought was just plan cheesecake but was actually cheesecake with strawberry sauce on it, good thing neither of us was allergic to strawberry, which was really good and pretty sure was store bought. When we where just ready to leave we stood by the cash register as the waitresses just kept passing us again and again and 5 minutes later one of the waitresses finally asked if we needed anything, should have just walked out without paying-it was that bad, and I said I needed to pay my bill and she checked my out. I gave her the 10 dollar gift card and she swiped it fast, hard, and what seemed out of anger threw the card in the a basket they had, which is good because I guess I did not want put more money on it or anything, and handed me my ticket, the ticket I had to sign, and a pen. I signed the ticked, of course no tip which would have not mattered since the waitress left me there by myself after she gave me the pen and tickets leaving me like I guess I just leave this here then. We left making sure to leave our opinion out loud so the people there plus the people coming in can see how appalling that chili's is. This experience has made us want to never go to any chili's ever especially since it ruined our anniversary for the rest of the day. The waitresses need to be retrained in costumer service or replaced, the cook however just needs to taught the basics in culinary and throw the microwave out, still even after all that we will not be going back. The worst thing is I have not been to chili's in several years and when I was thinking this might be a nice change and I was so wrong. read more

Ordered the Spicy Shrimp Taco plate, and the third taco (covered by the two I had just eaten) had two symmetrical bites taken out of it when folded like a taco. Showed it to my waitress and she took it away, later the manager when approached said that he too saw it and it was probably because the use cut shrimp in their taco's. I told him unless you cut the shrimp with your teeth after you put it in the shell thats a lame answer. I don't know of a kitchen utensil that cuts in the shape of a bite on both sides of the flour tortilla as if it were folded to eat. I told him that he had some jokers in his kitchen, and he assured me that no bites were taken out of that taco in his kitchen. So first treats me like an idiot with the cut shrimp excuse, then tries to paint me as a liar. I told him he was full of it, and definately has some jokers in his kitchen. I informed him that 2 moths ago I ordered a rack of ribs that was warm on the end and still frozen in the middle, again verified by his waitress, it was taken off my bill, but I still had multiple bites of half cooked pork. Bottom line, I love Chilli's, but I hate this one. There are too many good places to eat in town to take a chance on this discusting joint. read more

This was our first time back in a year, the service was OK at best and the food was BAD! four meals at our table and none of them were right as we ordered and three meals had items that was Hot, warm and cold served and one with raw meat. sent the raw meat back and it took forever to get my meal back to the table. everyone else had time to eat dinner before I got my food back and then it was still rare and old looking peppers and onions. I sent it back and I went somewhere else to eat. I plan on driving by this place from now on to find some place to eat. The manager was the only bright spot on the evening, he did his best to make things right. he also needs to clean house in the kitchen with his employees. All this on our first trip back after the health inspector CLOSED the place down for kitchen conditions a year ago. there are too many good places to eat in town to put up with this place. same your time and money and go somewhere else to eat. read more
