Our server was proactive in grouping our orders so when checks were given it was already done. My order was the last to arrive (came out 5-7 minutes later than everyone else's), and the waitress was very apologetic. I have not any bad experiences at this Chili's, it's close to me so it's safe to say.. I'm here quite often! Service has been good, food has been good.. it gets busy on the weekend days between 5-9, but not hours and hours of busy. You may wait about 30-40 minutes. This location is closest to my home but I frequent the one by work more often for lunch. I've only been here twice for late night bites with friends, usually after the dinner rush so I can't speak for the service here during peak times. It was however pretty decent afterwards the couple of times I've gone. I'm sure the servers are tired by then so that speaks a lot for them. Chili's is always trying to expand and update their menu, but I always come for the classics. I love their chips and salsa. The chips are thin and crispy and the salsa tastes fresh and light. I get the triple dipper app as my meal because I like variety. The chicken fajitas are not the best but better than most, aside from a good mexican restaurant. Their soups are pretty delicious, especially the baked potato soup. There's really something for everyone. I can always find something when I'm eating low carb as well. Oh speaking of diets, they have awesome desserts. The famous molten chocolate cake! As the menu says, it's big enough to share but you won't really want to. Warm chocolate cake with a gooey chocolate center, topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream covered in a chocolate shell, and then drizzled with chocolate and caramel sauce. Dude! The skillet chocolate chip is a second favorite. The only thing I don't like about Chili's is their cocktails. I am a light drinker and I get red in the face after a few sips of alcohol very easily. Needed a table of six and was refused by hostess to seat us. Our arrival was at 7pm; no where near to closing time. Restaurant had a few customers on one side of the restaurant so there was plenty of room to accommodate 6 people. The hostess told us they couldn't put together two tables because it was against fire code! What a joke. I spoke to the hostess again and she told a staff member that we were not leaving. This very nice man (who ended up being our waiter) pushed two tables together to seat us. He told us she (hostess) was having a bad night and had "issues" going on. She definitely needs a lesson in proper customer service. I have never ever been to a restaurant that refused to serve us and not take our money! Next time; will rethink visiting this location again. My family sat down at a table inside for the first time, as we normally order to go/pickup.... we regretted it within minutes. I am assuming there were quite a few call outs because the cook was running around taking orders! He was one of the only ones doing so. It was chaos. The food took quite a while to receive and needless to say, we were sharing each other's drink because we couldn't grab anyone's attention for refills. The food itself was awesome though! NEEDS A NEW MANAGER! Do yourself a favor and drive on I-35W North 4 more exits and go to the Alliance Town Center location. Here's the glaring difference: When we were seated at this location we sat for 10 minutes while 5 servers and a hostess were all standing around talking literally 15 feet from our table, and no one could be bothered to come over even just to take our drink order or say Hi. Yes, there was a large party seated next to us, BUT: We went to Alliance Town Center and the server was there in less than two minutes, the managers were on the floor WORKING (not in the back being a "boss") bussing tables and helping the workers...and that professionalism permeated through the rest of the staff who were always moving and working, in spite of the homecoming party of 20 or so (roughly the same size of the party at the Far North location). Notice they could handle a large party because the staff and management were all busy making things happen instead of the workers gathering around the podium talking about what they were wearing or whatever, while the manager was asleep in the back. For me, this Chili's was surprisingly average. Nothing bad, yet nothing over the top fabulous either. Your regular bacon hamburgers with a side of BBQ sauce tasted just like any other Chili's that I've had across the US. For this visit, it was at the end of the lunch hour, and just prior to dinner. The draft brew and other mixed drinks were just ho-hum, had it before. Service was fine, and meet expectations. Plenty of parking outside, as well as within the to-go area. While there is still ongoing construction just outside of the exit by the highway, the parking lot is remarkably clean of construction debris. The restaurant is dirty, the food took a long time, is expensive, and was not very good. We had a big party, 14, but the food was served over the period of 15 minutes. The burgers were bland overcooked. We ordered a cookie with ice cream for desert, and the cookie was almost a hockey puck. I want my babyback babyback babyback. Chili's babyback ribs. Barbecue sauce (I WAS REALLY CONSIDERING TO GET IT). At first, I was unsure whether this Chili's would be good or not. I mean, Pops Simon and I have been to a Chili's before, at a mall, and it was packed full of people. The one we went for this review seemed hidden from other restaurants and not lively at all. But we went in anyway. When we walked in, Popson thought it was closed. There was no staff, at least from which we were standing. Furthermore, we stood near the hostess desk for a good five minutes and were about to leave. Fortunately, a waitress came along in the last second and guided us to a booth, I thought that this place was not gonna be good. But I was wrong, dead wrong, when we tasted our food. Popson got the Just Bacon burger while I got the Crispers dinner with a 2 for $25 deal. What a bargain! We had fried pickles as our appetizer, it was not too salty and tasted great with ranch. Popson liked his burger; there was plenty of bacon, cheese, and the meat was juicy and filling. He liked his fries too. My crispers were delicious, and not too greasy. I got the honey mustard kind and kept wanting more. For the first time and a long time, Popson and I had dessert. A generous cookie skillet with ice cream. Absolutely fantastic, and really ended the dinner experience nicely. The atmosphere was alright. The tables were clean, and the environment gave off a sports bar sort of feel. We had noticed that Chili's had recently been pushing their Fajitas on TV a lot. Since I generally have had very good service and food at this location, my wife and I decided to give them a try. While they were very busy with the after church crowd, we were still seated very quickly. The waiter was most attentive and informative since the TV Fajita special was not on the menu or any inserts. After about 6 or 7 minutes, the server arrives with our order. That's the last of the good news. You should hear properly prepared Fajitas approaching before they ever arrive at your table. The 'sizzling' sound of the meat and vegie's on the cast iron hot plates should announce their approach long before they arrive. When I looked up to see the server standing beside our table without any advance warning I knew there was a problem. When my wife and I inspected our plates, we saw what 'looked' like nice fajitas but that impression soon faded. Apparently, Chili's idea of grilling the onions and peppers was to put the raw veggies on the hot plate, put the pre-grilled chicken on top of those and bring them to the table. The onions and peppers were almost completely raw, not even translucent, much less grilled. No char on either the onions or peppers. The chicken strips were obviously pre-grilled but were barely warm while sitting on top of the raw veggies. If Chili's is serving fajitas like these everywhere, they may get away with it where their customers don't know how fajitas are properly prepared and served but if they are going to sell them here in the Southwest or anywhere that real fajitas are sold, they are really going to have to do a much better job. FYI, we brought the fajitas home where we plan to finish grilling the onions and peppers properly, add the chicken just before they are done and then enjoy our fajitas after we have finished what Chilis started. read more

Decided to have lunch there yesterday, Got seated and ordered, got our hors d'oeuvre right away but after that we waited over 45 mins and wondered what is taking so long. Then Rebecca,the Mgr came to our table and explained some orders never got entered into the system. We were frustrated and said ok, but at that point I sort of told my wife I wanted to go if it took much longer. The kitchen seemed to be in chaos. We waited another 15 mins until we finally got our food,total time was almost 1 hour. This shouldn't have happened if a restaurant is run efficiently. Probably not completely fair to take it out on Chilis but I feel they bear a lot of the blame. I ordered togo food from their app, app told me the food was ready so I made my way down to Chilis(I dont live but a few minutes so I waited). I arrived and did the checkin, waited around 10 minutes with no signs of activity. So I decided to go inside to check on my order that was supposed to be already available for pickup. They keep all the togo orders on a metal shelving unit at togo entrance and my food was not there. When I asked the employees about my order I was met with the realization that someone must have walked in and grabbed my food. So I had to wait over a half hour for them to remake my food. I say this is mostly their fault due to the fact they leave all the togo food out where anyone can just grab whatever without showing any proof the order belongs to them. I appreciate them remaking my order but having to wait after ordering through the app to avoid waiting is extremely annoying. Chilis please fix this problem. read more

Placed on order here online on a Saturday and went to the restaurant to pick it up - come to find out, they're closed. Somehow the app didn't know..? Anyways, I called another Chili's to ask if I could simply transfer the order to that Chili's on the way to my destination (trying to be polite still but also hungry and already late to something and just trying to get my food) but they said there was no way to transfer the order and I'd have to make ANOTHER order to the other Chili's. At this point I'm tired, frustrated and so hungry so I just ask for a refund. But apparently, they also can't give me a refund because they have to be at the Chili's I placed the order at to issue me a refund. Of course. So, to recap, I have wasted half an hour at LEAST being on the phone with three different people I had to tell all this to, I have no food and I'm out $20. The guy on the phone says he's so sorry and says he'll call me by 4pm the next day to get me my refund. And I, of course, don't get a call. I not only don't get a call that day but I then have to call THEM on Wednesday because they still haven't called me and I want my money back. The only reason for two stars and not one is they did eventually give me my money back (except WAIT I won't get the gift card back for 3 days so now this whole thing has taken a week) which actually just seems like the bare minimum. And, parts of this do seem like corporate's fault rather than this individual restaurant, however they also could've handled the whole situation so much better. read more

29th December: Stopped by for lunch and waited and waited. Server took drinks order and that was the last we saw of her for 15 minutes or more. Actually I'm still here waiting again. I had called her over when I saw her and asked when we could expect the food. She said she would check and that was 5 minutes ago. Food finally came but the egg on top of the sunrise burger was just this side of liquid. I guess it's on us on how the egg should be cooked. I asked the waitress why service was so slow and she said they were short of staff.
