I told my waitress I did not want to upgrade my meal when she asked, but I think she did it anyways. I normally get 1 chicken fried steak, but this time I had 2 and the bill seemed higher. There was a woman there before that would actually talk to me and treat me like I mattered, but not today...I was ignored. I don't want to pay $30 for a meal to be ignored especially when I only wanted 1 chicken fried steak. This was at the fossil creek location. I won't be back. You would think in a time where people are struggling, and I am not struggling, that management would want the women to be talking to customers vs each other... Nope... A group of us friends came here to have drinks and appetizers after a game. We ordered the Billionaire Bacon to start with and were appalled to find a fried fly attached to one of the bacon pieces. There were flies everywhere in the restaurant which indicates a problem. When we showed the waitress the food and fly, she literally had no reaction other than, "oh sorry" in a deadpan tone as if this happens all the time. They took the appetizer off our bill and we cancelled the rest of the appetizers on our order, paid the drinks we had and left. So disappointing since we use to come here frequently for happy hour. I should've left as soon as I walked in, the hostess sat us at a table of 4 and I let her know that it was 5 of us and she said "well you can move tables together" didn't help just walked off, cool. So between my kids and I we moved the table. Secondly our waitress SUCKED, it was so bad we left after she kept forgetting items that we asked for. My husband finally had enough and let the waitress know to Cancel our order and that we would be paying for our drink and appetizers and leaving. Today was my first and last time ever visiting this location. There was a full on fight right in front of my table with my children. We didn't even get to eat our food but we paid because of the server change. My family experienced violence and blood everywhere. My 4 year nephew was so scared that one the fight stopped I had to walk the children out. I wasted money on what was supposed to be a good family outing. I was a bit nervous coming to a Fort Worth/Dallas bar being a non-Cowboys fan LOL. The 49ers game was at 305 and cowboys as 330. I got here about 325 expecting it to be super busy.. but it wasn't bad at all. Was super excited I got a booth when I sat. The host was sweet when I walked in, and got me sat immediately. I drank a deep Eddies Lime and soda, then two blackberry bourbon sour thingies ... DELISH. Was a bit disappointed in the whiskey sour but you can't win them all. Normally frequent the one on Bryant Irvin, but a friend from Houston wanted to meet at this particular location. The building and parking lot seemed very clean and well-lit. Once inside, the host promptly greeted us and sat us at a table away from the hussle and bustle of those seated around us. Since we're low-maintenance, the server and trainee checked on us the right amount of times to never become a bother. Honestly, the food was mediocre at best, but the time of fellowship was sweet. My girlfriend ordered it Togo for me tonight and when I opened the container it literally looked like shredded slop dog food. Disgusting. We walked in this place wondering why someone would make a restaurant based on a David Lynch TV show from decades ago. We didn't understand the name at that point. Lol. The decor is like a hunter lodge and there are numerous TVs playing sports or fun internet shorts that are very entertaining. The food is delicious and the service is solicitous. My kids absolutely loved their desserts. The staff is able to make cocktails that are hard to come by for some reason in this part of the country. I think my Manhattan was the best I've ever had...even better than what I make myself at home! The waitstaff and bartenders are all very sweet and each one is prettier than the next. Their work uniform shows off their youthful beauty. I wondered aloud if the prettiest girls in Fort Worth work at this restaurant. Kaitlin was our server on 8/6/22 (I promised I'd mention you!) and she is the one who made that amazing Manhattan for me. We returned the next two nights along with our children based on that one visit. This is a great spot to grab a bite or a cocktail and we will definitely return the next time we're in Fort Worth. read more

I truly hate giving bad reviews, but I encountered some of the worst service I've had in a very long time while visiting on last weekend. Was it because there were more females than males at our table? Was it because there were mostly younger people at the table? I don't know....What I do know is that our waitress missed out on what could have been a lucrative table for herself as we hightailed it to the next spot after 2 drinks. We were seated on the patio immediately and service was initially quick. It slowed down after our first drink arrived. Instead of providing good service, our waitress sat at the table in front of us on her phone almost the entire time. We placed our second drink order and my SIL tried to get her attention to order some food but she didn't see/hear/ignored him. Most of us got our second drink and he ordered a burger. It was a good 15-20 minutes and the burger arrived but we were still waiting on a Michelada and silverware. I finally went the hostess stand where I think a manager was. I ask him for silverware and mentioned how long we had been waiting for my friend's drink. A few minutes later it arrived with the excuse that the keg was being changed. I guess our waitress thought we were all born yesterday. Even if there were issues with the kegs, she should have come to mention that to the table or ask if he'd like something else instead of waiting 20 minutes while we finished our drinks. Also, the burger was bland like there were no seasonings on the patty. I love the patio here, but more than likely won't return. read more

My 41yo grey haired husband forgot his ID since he isnt driving this evening and our waitress (Emma) and manager refused to serve him a beer. So... I ordered a beer then ordered another and was refused service. We asked for a manager and he tried to quote TX state law saying you had to have an ID to be served... FALSE! A minor can be served with a parent's consent... same for a spouse. When called out he crawfished but still refused service. Come one people have some brains and common sense.
