What I received was a sad, lukewarm excuse for a beverage that tasted like regret and broken promises. If this was "cold," then my patience was absolute zero by the time I finished one sip. Stop by on a Friday night around 9:30 PM. There was no line, and we got seated really quickly. The restaurant was fairly loud inside and extremely chilly. So many good things to say about this place. So we love to go have a good meal , but the truth is going out can be expensive and let me tell you, we are never ever disappointed with the food. It is so good every single time , we haven't been in a while but we often sit at the bar , this time I walked in while my hubby parked and let me just say they were packed and I walked in and we love sitting at the bar and the hostess was like I think there are seats she directed me right to the bar and I sat , hubby took a few minutes to find parking ( I mean it was packed ) we were treated like royalty at the bar. Lots of regulars and I noticed that as soon as the regulars sat down , the bartenders knew exactly what they wanted .. one of them had his own coaster , "Santa " because he looked like Santa and a couple that was sitting next to us said that they loved sitting at the bar and having dinner. It was like cheers the staff was coming by to see them and they all knew each other. They had done some remodeling and what got my eyes is that had added some nice new decorations. As usual on a Friday evening, the Endicott location was extremely busy but we were waitlisted and were seated very promptly. Our server, Stephanie, was outstanding, friendly & served us quickly. She came back several times to make certain we didn't need anything. The only complaint I had was that the salmon was greatly overcooked instead of the med rare as ordered. When we brought this to the attention of the restaurant manager, Travis, he was very quick to apologize & have another one prepared. However, when the 2nd one came out it was a little less overcooked but still not med rare as requested. I realize salmon can be a tricky fish to cook, especially in a steakhouse but I expected a better outcome than I got. When Travis came back to check on me he agreed that the salmon was still overcooked & comped the cost of the salmon which I thought was very kind & professional of him. The other 4 diners in our party were all very pleased with their meals & agreed we will return in the future. I will, however, NOT order the salmon. read more

I went to Texas Roadhouse to celebrate my birthday, and unfortunately, it ended up being a pretty disappointing experience. The steak I ordered looked off and was just as chewy as bubble gum. Despite this, I gave it a try because I was really just trying to have a nice night. I only took one bite and couldn't eat the rest. My friend was left waiting a long time for the items she asked for, including a water refill that never came. Our server barely checked on us, and we waited around 15 minutes before we could flag someone down and ask to speak to the manager. I understand it gets busy here but I should note this was before the rush. There were parking spots right in front of the restaurant (which never happen) for reference to how not busy they were. When the manager came over, my friend explained what the issue was with our server. The manager was very understanding which was great. While she was providing resolution for my friend's frustration, she also noticed my plate and determined the steak didn't look good. She kindly offered to replace it, I objected because I genuinely was just going to pay for it and leave. I'm not one to complain to wait staff as I truly understand how time can slip away from you when traffic picks up. But even though I wasn't planning to complain, she insisted on replacing it and I accepted but asked for it to-go. She brought out the new meal with some rolls, which I appreciated. Later that night, though, I ended up getting really sick -- vomiting, sweating, and dealing with stomach issues starting around 4 a.m. The only thing I had eaten all day was that meal, so I'm confident it caused the food poisoning. Whether it was from the first bite of the original steak or the replacement, I'm not sure -- but either way, it made for a miserable night and definitely ruined what was supposed to be a nice birthday dinner. First and foremost, Texas Roadhouse is my FAVORITE restaurant. Typically, the experience cannot be topped. This location was absolutely disgusting upon arrival last night. The floors were so dirty, trash all over the floor. The restroom had toilet paper and paper towels strewed all over the floor and two of the toilets had waste in them, so I can only assume nobody on staff was assigned to check the restrooms. Host was super rude, kept rolling her eyes and sighing very loudly as if we were the problem when we walked in. Service was okay at best. Extremely rushed, even though the restaurant itself was not busy. We ordered an appetizer and before we could even take two bites, our entrees hit the table forcing us to box up the app. My boyfriend's ribeye came out blue instead of medium rare. We sent it back and the server mentioned the manager would be by to drop off the food. When the service manager finally stopped gossiping with her staff by the server station, she literally ran by the table and said, "all good?" And before we could utter yes, she was gone. *Extremely* dissatisfied with our most recent trip to TXRH! I decided to order pick-up for the first time, thinking it'd be a seamless process. I arrived about 15 minutes before my order was said to be ready, so I hung around until then. When 7:14p hit, I went to the window to let them know I was there, and they told me my meal wasn't ready yet. Totally fine, I was happy with waiting. About 23 minutes later, I get a text saying my order was ready, followed by an immediate text saying that it actually wasn't ready at all. I waited another 30 minutes, and finally went to the pick-up window to check back in and see if there was a timeline of when my order would be ready. Turns out my food had been ready, and was just waiting in there. Upon picking my meal up, I could tell immediately from the cold box that the food was stone cold. I'd waited nearly an hour for my dinner at this point, so I resolved I'd just zap it in the microwave when I got home (not really great after you've paid $30 for a meal, but I digress). I get home, open my food, and was APPALLED at the dried up piece of well done jerky in place of my medium well filet. It was the toughest piece of meat I've ever had the displeasure of eating. The mac and cheese was frigid, and it seems like they just poured cheese sauce haphazardly on the top, leaving bare noodles at the bottom of the cup. The mashed potatoes were freezing and there was an appetizing cold film on top of the gravy. The rolls were cold and doughy. Definitely a disappointing sight after waiting dang near 50 minutes for my $30 meal, so we decided to give them a call just to be like "hey, so, this kinda sucks" lol. After a while on hold, we finally got in touch with who we thought was a manager. She was SO lovely, sympathizing, empathetic, and willing to do whatever she could to fix it (re-make the food, give us a refund, etc). We'd decided on receiving a refund, and she put us on hold for a second. The person who took us off hold was apparently the *real* manager, who upon hearing our story, immediately said "WHO offered you a REFUND?!" We didn't remember the girls name, but honestly even if we did, we'd've still refused to tell the manager out of fear that the poor girl would get ripped to shreds just for being kind to us. The manager continued to have a poor attitude with us, and eventually said "i'll refund you the filet portion." before hanging up without so much as a "i'm sorry for your experience/how can we make this up to you?." Truly the worst experience we've ever had at ANY Texas Roadhouse, and we left that phone call highly debating to boycott the place forever because of that manager. Texas Roadhouse, y'all better make the first employee we talked to the new manager! The current manager in charge there was horrible, and treated us with such disdain that you'd think we ran her over with our car. Thanks for the refunded filet part, I guess. But it honestly seems like this place just gives you the gross rejected food from the dine-in customers when you order something for pickup and pawns it off as "fresh." TLDR; spend your money elsewhere. I ordered 100$ worth of food for my family. It is obvious that the food quality of the dine in experience and the take out experience are worlds apart! I am so disappointed with the food we received. The ribs were dry and overcooked. The bread was burned and hard. I feel like they gave my family the "rejected" food that would have been sent back had it been delivered to a family who decided to dine in. Making the decision to order take out from TR was made due to the inflexibility of our collective schedules and the inability of all of us to get to the restaurant at a particular time so we decided to meet at home and have a family member pick the food up for everyone.
