For starters the woman gave me a sharpie to sign my receipt. They gave me rice as my side instead of fries but seemed to not forget the honey mustard or ketchup; yeah I love ketchup with my incorrect side of rice. The queso was brown mush that was well over seasoned and too spicey. The burrito wraps were stale and the meat was dry. I called to let them know of the mistakes and they seemed like I was wasting their time. Half ass job. Do yourself a favor and walk next door to liberty for some better food. read more

Last night after a horrible experience at another establishment, my family and I headed to Chili's. It was the evening before my little cousin left for a permanent foster family. Having a nice meal with my parents, sister, daughter, and little cousin was really important. Our server Jordan E. was AMAZING. He didn't know our situation, (shoot,we've had to fib about it to my daughter) he greeted our table of 6, with excitement in his voice and took our drink orders right away. When he arrived back at our table, he'd brought special blue drinks with fish candy floating in them for the kids. And apologized for having to wait, as they were short staffed. We didn't even notice the wait was a little long, but let me tell you. My daughter who was already feeling down, immediately light up with excitement! Amazing how a fizzy blue drink can turn a frown upside down. The chef came out and very apologetically, informed us they were out of something on the menu. It wasn't at all a big deal, and a simple switch to french fries was easy made. Jordan, stopped by to insure everything was okay, and it was. It was because good service is hard to come by. It was because, that night we needed a friendly face and extra attention. It was okay. As a vegetarian, I love that Chili's offers a black bean patty in place of any burger. The Swiss/mushroom burger with a black bean patty is to die for! I laughed, I cried, it became a part of me! read more

This location is always on point. Hardly have any trouble and they have been great with customer service. Keep up the good work! However, I would like to note that the table top order entry does take away from the experience with the servers and makes me feel less connected to the restaurant staff. I see where the company wants to go with convenience, but I like the idea of connecting with my waitress/waiter. read more

This was one of the most horrible dining experiences ever. We were seated immediately upon arrival and that was the only positive moment of the entire experience. It took about 10 minutes for our waiter to come to the table. Drink orders were mixed up, food took over 40 minutes to come out. Our table was never bussed. We preordered our desserts ourselves. Those took another 20 minutes to come out. We were there almost 2 hours. We won't be returning. Oh. And the food was mediocre! read more

This is a definite go-to for my family - especially if our daughter is with us. She has EXTREME dairy and gluten allergies and it can be difficult to find restaurants that make us feel comfortable. The general manager, Mike, is wonderful! We know that he not only remembers us when we come in, he personally puts together her order and delivers it flawlessly! This has got to be one of the worst chili's I have been to. Service is incredibly slow and waiters are not attentive. Food on the other hand, is always great. It may be 30 minutes before we receive it, but it's usually pretty good. Me and my boyfriend love the 2 for $20 deal, but it's not worth it for the sucky service we get :( read more

This was our third visit since 7-4 which means we had enjoyed our two previous visits. But todays visit is the last one. 20 minute wait when there were tables that were empty. Ordered the 2 for 20. Fried pickles were great and then no food for 40 minutes. It does not take that long to steam a piece of fish. Customers who were seated 20 minutes after us got their meal. We got up and left never to return. Hopefully this was not the fault of the wait staff. read more

Worst Chili's ever! Never go during lunch unless you have 2 hours to wait. Everyone in our office knows when you go at lunch it's an hour wait on your food but the food is usually good. Not the case anymore. We waited an hour after we placed our order and then the food was cold. When I asked our server to check on our order after half an hour wait the server got very nasty with me. I want to add there were only 5 tables including our 4 top on our entire side of the restaurant. That long of a wait for cold food served with attitude in an empty restaurant is crazy. My family and I was eager to find Chili's on our GPS, found it with no problem. Went inside the hostess ask 3 in yout party? Yes, can we be seated so the guys can see the TV (boxing match on) no we don't have any spots available. This was NOT TRUE, she cont. to take us to the right side fo the resturant and seated us, it is 7:30pm the sun is setting and it is hitting the right side of my face and then reflecting across my glasses making it hard to have eye contact while we talk. We set there 30 minutes and not one person ask us for our order or even offered to take our drink order. The other customer in the place were all up tight waiting on their food and the longer we set there the more hungry and upset we become, but the waitress woud just pass by like they didn't even see us. We were not even told her our waitress would be, so we could not ask for her or him. We finally got up to leave and as we past by the hostess she said "Good Bye, hope you enjoyed " I told her we could not even get a order of ice water........she stood there with her mouth open and let us walk right out the door. I don't get it, does the customer still pay the bills and the wages of the workers there? I'm confussed, I have no reason to go back to that location or refer it to anyone traveling through that area. I know I'm tired and hungry but my feels was also hurt that American workers wonder why we are losing so many jobs and business. But yet they only show up to work and feel that is enough, they don't actually have to do anything. If waiting on customers is beneath you then you need to change jobs. When my husband and I arrived we were seated close to he front door which proved interesting. The waitress seemed somewhat inexperienced as she had to make two trips to get drinks...one just for the straws. She took my order first then walked away from the table. My husband and I just sat there confused until she came back and apologized for forgetting his order. Now I blame the management for these kinds of errors. Since we had just eaten at a similarly priced place that had a fantastic waitstaff I know great service can be taught...and should be. My meal was just a side salad but the tomatoes were old so I can't recommend that. My husband ordered fajitas which were over-cooked and over-seasoned. Again he had recently had the same meal for half the price and twice the fresh ingredients at a local Mexican place. So I can't recommend that either. While we were sitting there, a large party of 10-12 came in but no one was there to greet them. They waited a few minutes but when no one showed up they left. That's not good. A couple of side notes: it was literally freezing in there. There was no handicap parking in front of the door. It's around the side which is not helpful when you have breathing issues. The only wheelchair "ramp" they had ended in a big fat curb. Not exactly sure how that's supposed to be used. This place is tired. It looks like they've given up. There is too much competition out there for them to be anyplace but the top of their game. read more

Disappointing lunch trip. Call chilies to see what the wait time would be for it to go order and was told 10 to 15 minutes because I only had three orders. I ordered 2 things off of their appetizer menu & a lunch combo. I called back 20 minutes later to place the order and was told again 10 to 15 minutes again as the wait time which was fine because I was about 10 minutes away. Place the order and when I got there I waited in the parking lot for a few minutes and then went on the inside. Have to pay for my order I was told it be just a few more minutes no more than five it was 20 more minutes and when I got my order it was wrong I'm missing a few items. The lady that took my payment and was gathering my order was very nice however not knowledgeable about the lunch menu. The kitchen staff had no idea of what went with the lunch combo that I ordered whichis a bit disturbing when I have a picture of it on my phone. I asked the waiter that was passing by and I could speak to the manager. He replied they're getting the order together I asked could I speak to a manager everyone makes mistakes is what he said. By then I was upset because that's not what I asked. The conversation I wanted to have with the manager was just to let her know that the lady that waited on me was very nice however she wasn't knowledgeable about the menu nor was the kitchen and it took 40 minutes for me to get something I was told repeatedly would only be 10 to 15. But because he wanted to go back-and-forth and not get a manager it went from bad to worse I raise my voice and I cursed, which is not something that I preferred to do to someone at any establishment. However this server continue to go back-and-forth instead of allowing me to just speak to a manager. Because he thought it would get one of his coworkers in trouble instead of just doing his job words were exchange and the manager comped my food and gave me 25 dollar gift card which was like a slap in the face I spent $30 on food to five dollar gift cards does't matter. It was about service and allowing someone to be able to speak their mind about the service they provide it especially after they've waited as long as I did when I was told it would be 10 to 15 minutes wow on my lunch hour. So much more I could add to this but very very disappointed in Chili's and I was also told that a general manager was on staff but I find that hard to believe with the server acting the way that he did and nothing being done about it very very disappointed at the high point location mall loop read more

Great place to eat. The atmosphere is very neighborhood and its great for a dinner for two or laughs with the whole family. Great drinks from the bar and the kitchen is ALWAYS on point. If your ever in High Point, NC hit up the Chilis by Oak Hollow Mall and you Will Not be disappointed! read more

The disappointing thing about the High Point Chili's is the service. The food is almost always good and a fairly good value. I recently used online ordering for a quick lunch pick up. I showed up when I was supposed to and there was a sign at the "To Go" desk telling me to go to the bartender. Problem...no bartender. I have found that the staff lacks focus and it's a fairly social atmosphere. I'm all for having a good time at work but not at the customer's expense. Managing people is difficult. Managing people effectively is even harder. This particular location could benefit from some training. read more

My GF and I rolled in for lunch today, not having been to any Chili's for quite a while. Before we could even settle into our seats were accosted by our server Zach, an overeager and undertrained young man if I've ever met one. He convinced my companion to order a special cocktail that she really didn't want or like. During the next 50 minutes he checked on us about 15 times - no kidding - each time interrupting our conversation. It became so irritating I quit responding to his questions. I'm from the South and I myself use Y'all as a pronoun, but this guy wore the word out. It was bizarre that another worker came by on one occasion about 30 seconds after Zach had checked on us, and did the same. My lady had the steak fajitas and didn't care for the flavoring, which was something unnatural that had been added to the dish. I had a burger which arrived overdone, and the fries with it were pretty bland. Oddly, the staff pounced on us to clear the dishes a little too soon, like they needed us to leave to make room for another party, but the restaurant was less than half full. The check was a surprising $50 which is pretty steep for a lunch at Chili's. My lady and I agreed that although we like their TV ads, our curiosity has been satisfied, and it will be a long time before we return to Chili's. read more
