Every time we try and give this place another try we are dissatisfied. The chicken seems so rubbery, the flavor of the food is so bland. We do enjoy the burgers and the enchilada soup- but as far as anything else on the menu it's pretty much hit or miss for us. read more

My experience here went something like this: Friday night, had to wait on a table but it only took about 10 minutes. (Score!) Sit down and order appetizers right away while we're waiting on the rest of our dinner party to arrive. About 20 minutes passes and no appetizers but the server brings us some chips and salsa to tide us over. Okay, this makes up for the wait and the fact that he hasn't been by for refills a little bit. 10 more minutes passes and by now the rest of our party is there and we've ordered our food but still don't have our original appetizers. The server gets one refill but doesn't even check on the others. After waiting 40 minutes, one appetizer comes out and it's not even good and about 5 minutes later the other comes out. Great, can I have a refill? Please? Then the food arrives and it's what I expected but I'm still thirsty because I need a refill so eating it isn't all that enjoyable. One person I was with didn't even get the right food he ordered but he liked it so he ate it anyway and another who ordered the 'sizzling' fajitas definitely had no sizzle and they were edible but closer to cold than warm. A shift leader comes over and tells us that the appetizers have been taken off the bill. Cool, thank you. Yes, yes I would like a refill while you're here. We finish our food and we're ready to go but we're waiting on our check because our waiter is nowhere to be found again. I'd be okay with that if they seemed short staffed or where really busy but neither of those seemed to be an issue. At one point, I saw 4 servers standing together chatting. We get the checks, one appetizer is taken off and the other is still on but on the wrong check. *sigh* I explain that I don't want to pay for an appetizer it took 40 minutes to get, especially after I was told it would be taken off. Server goes to get the manager. I speak with the manager and he is really great. He genuinely seems like he cares that our experience (the first at this location,) was sub par and he says he'll see what he can do. When he comes back, he has taken all the food off and we just had to pay for the alcohol. Bottom line: The service sucked, the food was meh (and I always order the same thing because I usually like it a lot,) but Joe the manager was really great. Maybe this is why they weren't as busy as I'd expect them to be on a Friday night. Eventually I might give this Chili's another try but it won't be anytime soon. read more

Visited this Chili's on a whim b/c I was craving their tacos. Ended up attempting to park into a tight space (in a VERY dark, unsafe parking lot...) next to a guy driving his precious Corvette. He also decided to double park in their Chili's to-go spots, so yeah.....Merry Christmas? Jerk. Anyways, the food was decent but was cold upon delivery. My molten, fudgy dessert was cold. Usually when you step into a Chili's, you know exactly what to expect; this branch of the ubiquitous chain fits almost neatly into the mold; the tables, menus , general layout and assorted table displays call to mind anywhere-America Chili's. The only thing that seemed a bit out of place, is that it seemed a bit sparse on the wall decor compared to the norm. That, and it was near empty at 5:30 PM on a Monday. We were promptly greeted and seated, and our server quickly came to take our drink and appetizer order. Drinks arrived rapidly, and the food arrived in good time. it was hot, tasted good and our orders were all correct. The server (whose name I did not catch) was attentive, without being overly solicitous, and we lacked for nothing. This restaurant is equipped with the table-side tablets that allow you to order additional items, drinks or pay your bill, and we used it to pay our bill once we were wrapping up our meal, which greatly sped us on our way. Around 6:15 PM, when we were leaving the mostly empty restaurant had filled to about half-full, and appeared to be in the opening stages of becoming truly busy, so I'd recommend that diners perhaps opt for an early supper. There were absolutely no issues, but also nothing stood out as spectacular, and I easily say my family and I will be back from time to time to experience the comfort of a known quantity. read more

Stood at the door for 20 minutes and could count 6 open tables while I was standing there. Finally got seated then of course I see a good 5-6 more tables open on my way to my seat. Waitress was nice. Cook sucked. Ordered a Medium steak and it was fully done. So after 30 minute wait to be seated I just didn't complain because I was hungry and didn't want to wait any longer and the waitress was nice. Didn't want to give her a worse night then she is already having working in this shabby place. My husband and I have been here several times. It's your typical Chili's. The service is hit or miss. We like to go here on the weekend between government pay days because the restaurant is slower and we get much better service. If it is close to pay day I would advise people to stay away from here because the service will be horrible and your food will come out slow and cold. With that being said we have always enjoyed our food here. Good chips and salsa, margaritas, fajitas, quesadillas, and we love their light and fit menu. We have a few favorite servers who we will request to sit in their section and they always take care of us. We will keep coming back in between pay days for their 2 for $20 special. read more

If I could give a negative star rating I would.... Terrible service, food took forever and tasted disgusting....... Our restaurant visit at this establishment went like this: Arrived at 6pm with a party of 6 and were surprised that the place was half empty, regardless of that we still had to wait 10 minutes to be seated. Okay!? Ordered the drinks, a starter and the kids meals (our kids are 2 & 3 and they were hungry). 15 minutes later our drinks finally arrive - wow. Anyway we went to order our food but the waitress didn't have pen and paper on here but she said she'd be right back. Another 10 minutes later she finally shows up to take our order so I took the time to ask about the kids meals we had ordered almost 30 minutes ago. She said it would be right out. Okay?! Can I also please get a refill? Sure...........15 minutes later, no refill but our food arrives. Wow that was fast but one dish is missing (mine) and where the hell are the kids meals? Waitress looks all puzzled and takes off. She comes back shortly after with a kids pizza which was pretty gross, greasy and cold. The kids didn't like it at all but by then my food finally arrived (still no starter) so I figured I'd just share my chicken tenders. Gave the first bite to my children (don't bother trying to blow on it to cool it down because it's already just luke warm) but SURPRISE they spit it right back at me. Hmmmm. Interesting. I take a bite and I instantly start searching for the nearest napkin to throw up in. Can you say SALT?! I didn't eat a bite but - oh, wait - there comes the starter which I ordered like about an hour ago. Sure give me that because I am starving and can I PLEASE have that refill because all that salt made me really thirsty........... This went on for the rest of the night and after lots of complaining and talking to the manager we only had to pay for two entrees and our drinks. We were on our way back home and received an email from Chili's offering a free dessert so we thought why not. Our first clue should have been the empty parking lot. We were 1 of 3 tables. We decided on just nachos and dessert. My husband likes to get both chicken and beef. They thought this was the weirdest thing. He was charged for extra fajita meat for his weird nachos and I was charged for a bowl of beans because I asked for no meat on my nachos. I slid my card through the kiosk and to my surprise it didn't' have a way to take off the dessert. Our waiter said we were the first customers to use it and we would have to call corporate to get our money back and get points for the visit. Why aren't these franchises held responsible for being up to date? read more

This is a good Chili's location. I wasn't particularly impressed by anything, but I wasn't disappointed. The staff was attentive as they could be given the crowd and the food was decent. I ordered a Long Island Ice Tea with the expectations of it being flat and weak. It was neither. It was strong and actually tasted like a beverage and not rubbing alcohol. The wings were hot and and large. 4 and 5 stars are a little much from me, but I would revisit this Chili's if the opportunity presented itself. I recommend this place as a Medium level restaurant with High level potential. read more

Hey y'all I will tell ya if you go in a weekend starting on Thursday through Saturday ask for Ramona! This woman was nice, funny and an amazing server. We had a party of 11... not once did any of us have an empty glass to include alcoholic beverages, write anything down, and got NOTHING wrong. If I could give them no stars I would! Saturday October 24, MY BIRTHDAY, I decided I would order from Chili's and have my husband pick it up! I'm vegetarian and don't eat meat. My husband brought the food back home I realized there was meat on it! Even though I had stressed the issue of not wanting meat! I wasn't upset, everyone makes mistakes but because I was still hungry I called back & was promised by the manger hat she's make sure my food was prepared correctly! I go back this time and pick it up and after waiting for 20 minutes finally get my cold food! Ok, go back to the house and realize There's still meat on it! I'm super annoyed at this point because I'd looked the food over before I left and hadn't noticed the tiny pieces of bacon hiding beneath the cheese I call again and the manager is very polite and says she'll be giving a refund as well as sending a coupon in the mail! I was fine with that! We didn't get back around to chili's to pickup the refund until Wednesday morning hen we were told that they never said that they'd be issuing a refund! Show up to the chili's and after being told it will be a 20-30min wait, add my family's name to the waiting list where we will be texted due to not being able to wait in lobby. So we're waiting for approximately 30min and see ppl going in ahead of us. Enter to check our status only to be informed that our names were taken off the list! What kind of ridiculousness is that? What's even more infuriating is their insincerity and their lack of customer service in trying to see how to rectify the situation! The health inspection posted at the door states the business has an "A" rating, but with a grade of 90. Any business in food service should have zero discrepancies. What were the 10 percent of problems? Who wants to take the risk that their menu selection accounts for that 10 percent? Anyway, I have avoided Hinesville Chili's for the past two or three years because of their Yelp rating. After my visit today, it will be a few more. The waitress by herself is a solid five. Totally regret going here! It was Saturday night, after 9 p.m. and when my husband and I got inside, there was a server, a blond woman, who saw us from the other side of the entry, walked toward us, and kept walking past us to go to clean the glass windows that separated the bar section from the restaurant section. She didn't bother to seat us, or since she would rather clean windows, she didn't get anyone else to seat us, she didn't even trouble herself to greet us. Instead, this server began to clean the windows on the restaurant side. For several minutes, no one came to greet and seat us, and the entire time she was facing us, cleaning the windows, knowing we were standing there waiting to be seated. Finally, someone came from the back of the restaurant to seat us. How funny that that person took us to the booth where that server was still cleaning the window. I was really hoping she was not going to be our server, and thankfully she wasn't. The restaurant was not full, it was mostly empty, yet we didn't see our server for a while after being seated. Finally he comes to the table with several empty drink mugs and greeted us giving us the menus and taking our drink orders. He was actually a good server, had he not been so busy doing things other than serving his customers, his service would have been better. He seemed to be occupied bussing other servers' tables. Everything took longer than it needed to. I had the ribs with fries, my husband had the mixed fajitas. While my husband's fajitas were served hot and fresh, my dinner was quite the opposite. My ribs barely had any meat on them, they didn't taste fresh and they were cold. As if that wasn't enough, they were dry and chewy. The fries, they were luke warm, and appeared to be left over from another order. When are they going to change the oil in the fryer? On to dessert. My husband ordered the cheesecake with strawberry 'topping' and I, the chocolate molten cake with the ice cream on the top. My husband's slice of cheesecake was a little larger than I've seen at other restaurants, with the strawberry squirted on the plate and not placed on the cheesecake. My dessert was supposed to be at least warm, and well it was luke warm, much like my dinner, and the funny thing was that they served it to me on the side of the cake that it was too obvious that there was a chunk of cake missing. Awful dessert choice. Back to that blond server, the window cleaner. Two other tables in front of us belonged to our server, but for whatever reason, the window cleaning server kept watch over those two tables and attended to them and later the table behind us, and again completely ignored us. The manager did the same by asking the table behind us and in front of us how everything was, but not us. He put a lot of attention to the table that arrived a while after us, and did part of our server's job with that table, passing by us a few times but never once asking us if we needed anything or if our food was alright. Seriously, I believe the blond window cleaner is racist and possibly the manager, but it was clearly more evident in the server. Quality control (food): big fat 0 Service: 0/10 Food: 0/10 Friendliness of the staff: 0/10 Chili's management: big fat 0 Awful "restaurant" will NOT be back hope it goes out of business very soon! read more

This place is garbage and I have no idea why we've kept giving them chances. Last time I was here there was LITERALLY a dead bug in my drink and the service has progressively gotten worse and worse. Today we ordered an appetizer that never came out, when we asked about it a completely uninvolved waitress came over and gave us attitude about it. My country fried steak gravy was... Something very un gravy like. They reworked the gravy and sent me some less watery gravy on the side but when you add flour to gravy that's already hot it just sort of creates big balls of flour... So it tasted very much like warm flour. Valid attempt to correct the issue but it wasn't quite delish. The manager was very nice, and our waitress was polite, but apologizing after the fact doesn't make all the problems this place has worth coming back. They gave us a $5 chili buck for our next visit. Again the manager was very nice but too little too late. This place has been falling apart service wise for awhile. Another notable character along our chili adventure was the waiter who brought our food out. I came to Chili's for a delicious meal to celebrate my birthday. After being informed that the staff "never sings for birthdays" I settled for the promise of ice cream to follow my meal. My waitress was infatuated with her male customers seated next to us and did not make time to bring me ice cream or even refill my drink. Well I made the mistake of trying this place out aging and now I never go back. Went in wanting seating for 6 and the waitress walks around the place twice and tells us we have a high top will you take that. I said no I told you I had 2 small kids. She says under her breath well I guess I have to clean off a table. I said I guess you will have to do a little work today. So after that sat down order appetizers they came out cold like they got them from outside. Then upon my better judgment I order food it came out the same way but the iceing on the cake was that there was plastic wrapper in my mashed potatoes. The only thing this Chilis is good for in my opinion is going to the bar and having drinks! I will NEVER eat at this one again. After several times eating there I've came to terms they don't give a crap about there customers or the quality of food they put out. For a prime example I ordered a burger....asked for it to be cooked medium rare. Mine was bloody and medium RAW! Of course I couldn't eat it. The manager finally came to my table and asked how things were I mentioned my burger and my BFs ribs being horrible. He shrugged us off and walk away! This has to be the worst chain chilies I have ever eaten at! The host seated us right away (that was the only positive) then it room 15 minutes for a server to come great us. While waiting another server was just looking around and eating maybe she was on break? I'm not sure. So when the server finally decided to come see if we have been helped my husband and I were just so frustrated we decided to just order while she was at our table the first time. Cause who knows maybe it would have been another 20 minutes. 30 minutes goes by our food comes out like warm at best it was disgusting.
