I ordered the ribs and they were cold and seemed like old just heated in microwave. They were caked with rub on them most horrible ribs I ever have eaten. The other items ordered were like left-overs from days before and lacked taste and dry. The onion blossom served as an appetizer was greasy and was fried in old grease. Did chili's for family and everything came great. The food was warm and all containers were very tight. I got the chicken crispers and waffles because I love sweet and spicy. Decided to try out Chili's pick up. Ordered at 749 pm.!!was told almost a 30 minute wait. I only ordered two drinks and nachos. It is now 832pm and I am still waiting at curb side pick up. This is a good reminder of why I do not order or go to chilis. Called and spoke to someone that told me that it should be coming out soon and hung up. Extremely pitiful experience. Server was polite but as my wife and I ordered at the same time(lunch) her salad came first and was incomplete. I waited 25 more minutes for my side ceasar which was supposed to be accompanied by chili. Which came 20 minutes after that and couldn't possibly be what is normally served as chili. Consisted of a burger patty with some dark brown sauce mixture mixed in obviously in a crude hurry. A pitiful bowl of chili especially for a place named Chili's. Certainly not worth $10. I hope every location isn't as sloppily managed in the kitchen and I certainly will never return to this location, this experience will be in my mind every time I see a Chili's sign or commercial. I really hate to have to do this because I've always been satisfied with the food and service at Chilis, but today was just not the day. Today was Cinco De Mayo and I met up with a friend who lives out of town and I choose Chili's for our gathering. It seemed odd that the parking lot was pretty empty at 4:30 on a Saturday and on a holiday but regardless we sat in the bar area and ordered two of their special Margaritas, they came out in plastic cups and the margarita was horrible. We ordered appetizers and I am so sorry to say, but everything we ate tasted old, cold and so disappointing. The oldest person working looked to be about 25 and the entire personnel sat around talking to each other and I never saw anyone who resembled management taking care of the lack of customer service. Chili's is one of my favorite restaurants and has never disappointed me! Overall, the food always comes out hot and is made exactly how it's supposed to and the waitresses and waiters are always on top of their game making sure everyone has refills and is enjoying their time! Relatively clean restaurant, however, there are sometimes crumbs in the seating areas which is kind of icky. Cleaning should be a priority as people leave their seating! No one wearing gloves when handling the food, waited over an hour and a half for my food for it to come out cold. The waitress was getting bad remarks by every table by me every single last person had to speak to the manager. To top it off the table next to me found a fake fingernail in their drink and the server was complaining about her sections and fake gagging loud as hell very unprofessional. I dont understand the low rating but my review is all about their TO GO. Alda or Ada helped me and she was amazing. I was there around 5 PM yesterday and they were quite busy. I ordered the three combination entree and also my free queso with the chips. Well, I placed my order onsite so I knew that there was a long wait but it was worth it. I was given a huge bag of chips and salsa as well as another container of queso with meat, thinking that this was free. I heard her how she interacted with other guests and she did a very good job. I had a good experience dinning here on a Sunday afternoon. The food was served swiftly and cooked perfectly! The service staff was very nice and attentive. They did a really good job. Chili's has a great rewards program which is one reason I'm going to be a repeat customer, I was able to redeem a free serving of queso this visit! Their Kiosk tableside devices are handy if you want to place an order if your server is busy, or to play games, and to quickly and easily pay. They are an added benefit, and an advantage over competing restaurants. They also offer good happy hour specials during different days/times of the week! read more

Let me just say my food was amazing, perfectly cooked, and came out quick. I also love Chili's but the Killeen location I will not be dinning with anymore. This is due to the staff having issues with each other (cussing and swearing at each other). If i am dinning out I want to relax, not feel the stress and tension of the wait staff. TodaY, unfortunately I have to give you guys a one star rating. We ordered our food to go. Get to the place and check in and we get the notification that the food would be out in a few minutes. Well once the time arrives no one comes. After waiting for about 5-6 minutes I decide to go in and check on it. The order hadn't even been bagged and I don't think it was all made either because I waited another 10-15 min before I got the order. Get home and everything was good so far. Ate my egg rolls which were good, ate my Luke warm fries but they weren't completely cold but I could tell they'd been sitting up for awhile. I decided to save my burger for later. So I finally get into the burger and I get half way through and I bite something hard. I'm thinking one of my teeth fell out but that wasn't the case thankfully. Whenever I'm visiting the area I tend to gravitate towards Chili's... maybe it's partly because I never really get a chance to get out and see what else Killeen has to offer... maybe because I just like Chili's. Parking wasn't bad... plenty of spots. Host and hostess were both friendly and inviting. But the waitress... OMG could she get a freakin personality???!? I actually started to reminisce about Ferris Bueller's Day Off when all you hear is "Bueller.... bueller.... bueller..." That was the first time I'd ever had such a bad server at any given Chili's... here or S.A. or Corpus... wherever. I like this place to eat cheese fries, but I LOVE THE CHOCOLATE MOULTON LAVA CAKE. I will go there and just get that. The server will look at me funny and ask if I want an entre or a meal also. Nope I say. This cake is all I need. It is a chocolate cake with a big scoop of vanilla icecream dipped in chocolate on top of it. Haven't been to this Chilis in a while. Husband convinced me to give it another shot. Needless to say won't be returning. Food was sub par, sloppy and didn't look fresh in any way. Watched the bartender scrape food off of a glass with his finger then fill it with ice and soda for another guest. Watched the other bartender open a chocolate syrup bottle with his mouth to pull the seal off and then proceed to pour into a glass. Three compartment sink was stagnant while bartender was cleaning dishes. Overall I would barely give this Chilis 1 star and I now remember why I waited 2 years to return. read more
