This particular location, La Habra: we always love it here (we can't say that for other Chili's locations, but that's another story.) Food, drinks and service are spot on here at La Habra Chili's. Today we stopped by for a late lunch for my wife's Bday. Our server's name was Logan and was attentive, quick and super pleasant. Drinks: My wife had the Captains Castaway with an extra shot of Captain Morgan and I had the Presidente Margarita. Both just right. Cheers! Of late, my choice for food is the Fajita Trio: Shrimp, Beef and Chicken. Comes with Rice, beans and choice of tortillas. I always get the flour. They are not "home made" flour tortillas but they are still legit. Oh boy, I only wish they were home made...but anyway. Wifey had the smoke house combo with dry rubbed baby back ribs, fried chicken tenders, corn on the cob, fries, loaded mashed potatoes, Texas toast and jalapeno sausage. Bomba!! She loved it. More service staff please! My hubby went to this Chili's for lunch and was attended to by a woman working at the bar area. Minutes later she left to attend to a party of 7-8 patrons and a gentleman sat at the bar waiting for lunch service. My husband said he saw the man leave after waiting for 10 minutes because the poor woman working there BY HERSELF, couldn't help them all. She did a great job, but come on Chili's, you need more than one person to help the lunchtime crowd. read more

This had been a go to place for several years.... NOT ANYMORE. I ordered a togo item for pickup and here is how it went. 1) order online- perfect 2) get message my foods ready - perfect 3) arrive and stand at togo pickup for 5mins with no help!! So many workers walk by the glass door, at least 4, and not a single person working comes out. I then saw my bag getting cold there so i walked in and got it myself. We ordered out and they got the order correct and it was ready when I arrived to pick it up. We had the baby back ribs with corn on the cob and fries and a cup of chicken enchilada soup. The corn was fresh and cooked perfectly it was perfect for the fries they were not really even touched the ribs were fantastic,cooked perfectly they were tender and the sauce was very good. His attention to detail was spot on and knew how to be speedy and efficient and yet still went above and beyond. This is my local Chili's restaurant and I really wanted to love what I ordered for takeout: a half rack of House BBQ ribs and a half rack of dry rub ribs, a side of Caesar salad, a kid's meal consisting of chicken tenders, french fries and Mexican rice. Unfortunately, I was not over the moon about the ribs. They were decent but not great. I was most disappointed in the Caesar salad; I paid an extra $3.95 and got a slightly sad looking Caesar salad. This street corn on a cob was incredible! I would definitely buy that again. I was a little surprised that the food was not ready for me to pick up at the time specified, and I came a little later, too. The service was nice. The individual putting together my order was very polite and nice, so that made things better. So overall, if I come back to Chili's, I will try different items on the menu. If you do order any ribs, I recommend getting just half a rack and definitely try out the street corn with it. read more

This afternoon we chose Chili's to have an early dinner. It was myself, my two kids, and my mother. We arrived around 4:30 and the waiter with the 777 tattoo on his neck seated us. Katie was our server. The whole experience was awful, which was shocking since when we arrived, the place was empty. For it being so empty, our server seemed extremely overwhelmed. From start to finish we were there for almost 2 hours, which half the time was spent trying to track down our server who spent most of the time MIA. She took our drink order, she left. She finally returned with our drinks and we put in the appetizer order. We ordered. Triple Dipper - mozzarella, egg rolls and chicken crispers Katie went MIA for a while after our drinks came and someone else brought out the appetizers. Katie took our order and then went MIA again. Katie never came back to check on us, she never brought our refills, she never asked if things were okay, nothing. I had to wave down other servers for refills. We ordered our dinners and then played the waiting game for awhile again. Our food came out and the fajitas that one of my kids ordered came out wrong. She repeatedly told Katie that she doesn't eat rice so she didn't want any. We had originally asked for beans with no rice and she offered us a double serving of beans in replace of the rice, we accepted. When the food came out, there were no beans, instead a plate of rice. We had to flag Katie down to bring this to her attention and she seemed confused as to how to rectify the situation and attempted to take the entire plate before we just asked her to bring out a side of beans instead. My other kid ordered a bacon cheeseburger and the bun was so soggy she ended up just eating half. Again during the meal, we had to flag down the other servers for refills as Katie was MIA and nowhere to be found. I actually waved over the server with the 777 tattoo, made eye contact and everything but he ignored me and went on about his business which was organizing the menus at that moment. I had to wait for another to flag down for another tea. We asked for containers and before we could add anything else, Katie was off and we had to wait for her to come back to ask for bags and the check. Katie brought over the check and we handed her two one hundred dollar bills. She had the audacity to ask if we wanted change, I feel as if she should have said "I will be right back with your change", I mean come on, she had to have known that she provided shotty service, but still had the audacity to think she was getting a $54 tip. I spoke up and said YES, we want our change. To top it off, after being MIA for almost our entire experience, having the audacity to think she wasn't going to bring us any change, she decided that now would be the right time to bring us all refills that no one asked for then asked if we wanted to-go cups for them???? FYI - the bags brought to the table were dirty and the cups as well, gross. We ended up leaving them there. FYI - the lids don't even stay on the cups making the to-go drinks a disaster waiting to happen. Just thought you should know that today's dinner was a horrific experience and Chili's definitely fell short today. Katie should not be on the floor. read more

My cousin and I had a late lunch at this Chili's location. We had a great meal which included a big cheeseburger fries, a salad, and a drink for $10.99. The burger was delicious...nice and juicy! The two of us ate for under $25 which is about the same price you would pay at McDonald's only much better quality ! Our server was Rebekah. She provided great customer service with a smile! We went for my wife's birthday and just so you know if you sign up you get a free dessert for your birthday, We did not have high expectations for service after hearing about the shortage of employees, but we were pleasantly surprised. Helen, our waitress on 9/24/19, was a sweetheart! Constantly checking in on us and refilling the husband's drink. I wasn't super hungry that day, so I ordered the Triple Dipper appetizer ($12.89) where you choose three from a variety of items. The only thing I didn't like at all were the "Awesome Blossom Petals" (i.e. fried onions). The Crispy Chicken Crispers and the Southwestern Eggrolls were good, though. I'd rather eat here that the local burger stand or Mickey D's. Those specials make it more affordable that those places. As much as I don't like chain restaurants, Chilis has got a pretty good burger. While the patty could have more flavor, the burger has the perfect bun, and fixings. I choose the Old timer since I like the standard burger toppings, LTOP. The fries are really good too. What I really like about this burger is that is doesn't fall all apart. The 1/2 rack of dry rub ribs, extra crispy chicken strips and the jalapeño and cheese sausage with a side of loaded mashed potatoes and street corn on the cob. The platter also came with fries and Texas toast which I didn't even touch because there was so much! Luckily they have containers to take home the rest. Such a delightful ambience. Today's visit was great. Jesse was are Server. We sat at the bar. Jesse was super cool and chill multitasking. He gave me and my boyfriend great vibes with great service. Our food came out great. Like always La Habra chili's restaurant is always on point with their food and service. I recommend the bar seating area if you don't wanna wait you can just walk right in have a seat and start ordering in the bar area. It's understood that the order will be brought out to the car. I was there but there was no phone number posted to call and let them know I had arrived. Therefore, i went in to pick up my order. A gentlemen (he looked like the boss) didn't even acknowledge me and walk to the back kitchen.
