The staff acted as though we were doing them a favor to be in there establishment. It took 15 minutes for anyone to acknowledge us at our table. Should have gotten up and left like the two other tables in our area did. And yes, they had enough wait staff. My wife and I went to this location on Sunday, August 20th for the first time. Never again will we go there. The food was decent and the wait staff was good. The problem is that the damn music is so loud it ruined the whole night for us. I should have never stayed after sitting for a few minutes. We will never, ever return to this restaurant. Food was good but cold. I used the take out ordering and after giving my email and phone number I expected some kind of call or text or email when my food was ready. Apparently you are just supposed to know. Maybe it said on the ordering page but once I closed out of that page I couldn't get back to it. Plus while you wait for the food people smoke outside and in neighboring cars. There should be a smoke free place to wait for food. Great restaurant, went in around 9. Had drinks right away, and food was ordered and served in about 12 minutes! Staff was on point! Ordered the salmon and it was amazing! Management walking around double checking everything was good, happy to see such leadership! read more

We love chili's but this one needs better training. When you are told 20 minute wait which turns into 45 minutes, it would be better that people leave because they don't want to wait than leave because the staff is inept. read more

Excellent value on the two for $22 meal deal. I stopped in with my aunt who lives in lake wales and sat down rather fast. The place was packed. It was Saturday night around 6:15pm. Once we sat down Veronica was our server. She was superior. We picked the two for $22 meal deal. I had chicken fajitas with a tossed garden salad. My aunt also had the toss garden salad which I must say was beautiful, fresh and huge. Only complaint no thousand island dressing. Oh well Blue Cheese dressing did the job. My fajitas could have been cooked a bit longer. They were kinda "fleshie and Gamey" but I ate half. Next time i'll go for the chicken with bacon quesadilla. Looked more well done. My aunt had the dry rub baby back ribs with naked mashed potatoes. She liked the ribs but didn't think were baby back ribs? They looked a bit large but I bet they were. The mashed potatoes were dry and unappealing. Chili's seems to have still not mastered the art of smashed skin mashed potatoes. Hopefully someone can correct this longstanding mistake. I have to agree with an earlier review about the waitress Amber. She's fabulous and really made us comfortable when we arrived. Service was quick, the food was wonderful and I swear she read my mind and altered my drink order to get exactly what I wanted. Any little thing we needed from extra napkins to a refill was either predicted or taken care of so quickly we didn't realize it in the moment. I've had lackluster experiences at this location in the past so I was ecstatic that this visit was so great. I think this is due to a great staff person who deserves kudos. read more

The check in process for a table is unorganized. Orders are repeatedly incorrect. Staff lacks professionalism not to mention my drink glass had a huge chip out of it and my drink was transferred from chipped glass to new glass. Not a fresh drink. Very slow service. Waitress tried blaming the kitchen for our appetizer coming out 10 mins after the meal which took quite some time. She must not have noticed that we were capable of seeing that the fried appetizer was room temperature and soggy, it obviously sat out for quite some time. The chicken tenders were microwaved, I couldn't even bite through them, and couldn't even get a knife through them, fries were soggy and cold. Overall a very poor experience. Ordered on line and then picked up. Order was ready as promised. I ordered two explosion salads that looked great, one problem was the little corn strips the put on for crunch were old tasting and no crunch also the corn used to be roasted corn but this taste like it was just out of a can. read more

If I could rate lower I would. First off we got stale chips, that's no big deal. Well our waiter took them but before he took them I had accidentally dropped a chip with queso on it in the rest of the chips. When the waiter came back he said they were fresh chips well let's just say that same chip with queso on it was in there.. when something was said the waiter constantly argued. So we left it alone. Well when our food finally came out I cut one of my chicken tenders to find nothing but hair! Needless to say we will not be returning. read more

When we walked in, no one was at the host/hostess stand, a bartender was watching us, made no attempt to say "someone will be right there" or anything. It was the weirdest welcome, well, it wasn't really welcoming. However, when the host came, he was very apologetic & sat us right away. We were there last night (6/14/17) at 6:30ish. Service wasn't slow, but our server wasn't incredibly friendly with me or my husband, but the next table of men slamming back some cold ones was a different story. She was attentive, but a genuine smile goes a long way & this is the second sub-par experience at this location. Sad part, I asked my husband en route to the mall if he was sure he wanted to go here & bless his heart, he said he had been looking forward to it all day. The food wasn't the best either, he got ribs & chicken crispers & the ribs were rough, he really had to pull at them like a caveman. I ordered boneless buffalo wings as my meal, I know it's an appetizer, but I don't eat much & I noticed in reading the menu over (lots of changes) that they now have different levels of heat for the buffalo sauce, so I wanted their traditional. When our server didn't ask, I assumed it would be the traditional sauce, but when them came, the first one I tried was so hot, I thought I was being a baby, but the second one was worse. I had my husband pause on his meal & try one, he was shocked by the heat, he even asked "are you going to be able to eat those?". I tried, trust me, I tried. I also ordered the new cheese bites, some were hot, most were cold (and they only give you like a tablespoon of the dipping sauce), but we just boxed my food. Our server never asked "anything wrong with the food?", I mean, in her defense, she did ask if everything looked right, which it did look right, but it wasn't. Neither of us complain & this was no exception because our bellies were full, and it wasn't the absolute worst, but it did put a stop to us returning to the Lake Wales location & I grew up in LW & love it. We live in Dundee, but will make the additional drive to the one in Winter Haven when we want Chili's moving forward. It was just disappointing. I'm rating it poor because they weren't busy and there is so much room for improvement. Let me also mention the bathrooms, they reminded me of a WalMart bathroom, I'm funny about bathrooms, I just want clean & no odors that you know didn't just happen. You could tell no staff member wanted to take on the responsibility of cleaning it either, paper towels everywhere. Horrible service. Went here after Legoland. My family of 5 was seated right away. Although, we waited almost 30mins until our waitress showed up. We have 3 kids (8-7-4) who were so hungry but didn't complain. I kept looking up at the waitresses to let them know hey we haven't been waited on. My husband said 1 more min and we are leaving. Of course that's when our waitress showed up. She asked if we were ready to order. I said "of course since we have been sitting here for almost 30 mins." She said "oh I didn't see you" Worse waitress I've ever encountered ! Got a margarita asked for a glass of water with it. I had to ask her twice, it took another waitress to finally get the ranch for my kids. I was going to complain but I was too tired from Legoland and so was my family. I was going to say something on the Kiosk but of course it didn't work. It wasn't even busy for goodness sake. This isn't the first time we experienced bad waitressing at this location. We always tip at least 20%. She was lucky we gave her 15%. Stay away from this location go to the Chili's on Cypress Garden. Better service. I've gotten food poisoning 2 out of the last 3 trips here. Food isn't even that great.

It was amazing me and my wife went there and the food was perfect (be sides there being to much sauce on my burger) when we got there we where seated right a way , the drinks came just as fast as we where seated, we had the two for twenty it took longer than expected for the apatizer( the Texas cheese frise )(but the place was full of people so they did it in good time for that) but me and why wife had time to catch up witch was good and with the apatizer came out it was nice and hot. It then took 9-11 minutes for the main course to come( we both had the bacon Burger and it was huge) the burger had two down sides 1. My wife couldn't fit it in here mouth ( it was very big) 2. Mine came with way too much sauce. But over all we had a great time the staff was amazing, it was clean (but not the bathroom the where dirty) but everything you could see when eating was nice, so in conclusion I would give this a 4-5 rating why not five? The bathroom had hair in the stall. And my burger was dripping with sauce( some might like it I didn't) that together took down a half star each. I hope you like my review.
