We've come to this Chili's since it was built several years ago. Never really had trouble... until this evening. The place was barely 1/4 full. Less than that when we arrived. We had to chase down the server twice to get drinks and spent half the meal with empty glasses. Plus the Ziosk on the table was dead. She said they were all dying because they weren't being charged and not all tables had them. She took forever to get our meal out, especially given there were maybe 8 customers there when we arrived. We were the 4th table. And we only ordered one plate and shared it. So it isn't as if we were a huge order. The staff's complete and utter indifference meant the tip evaporated to the same extent they could not care less about doing anything. The place looked sticky. The table was. Good thing I carry wipes. Avoid this place from now on if it looks empty-ish. read more

It is rare for me to give anyone a 1-star rating. In this case, 1-star is GENEROUS!!! We ordered the $20 meal for 2 which includes an appetizer and two-entrees. For our appetizer, we ordered the Skillet Queso. Someone needs to explain to Chili's what "queso" means. I assumed they knew it was cheese. Wow. What they brought out was an iron skillet that was filled with the worst tasting stuff I've ever had at Chili's. It most definitely was NOT cheese. It was hot dog chili. Actually, I've had hot dog chili out of a can that tasted better. This wouldn't be good on a hot dog. Absolutely horrible. Save yourself. Don't order this appetizer. For our main entrees, I had the bacon burger and my son had the ribs. You know a burger is bad when bacon can't make it taste good. The meat had zero seasoning and no flavor whatsoever. The bacon wasn't that good either. My son has had the ribs before but even he stated they were not as good as in the past. He said they had no smoke flavor and very little flavor. Chili's management: Don't bother to reply. Don't offer a free gift card or a meal. It won't matter. As I left the parking lot, I told my son that I will not be coming back here. Another dinner out, we decided to try Chili's. We hadn't eating here in a long time. My husband and I shared the steak, chicken fajitas & shrimp with mash potatoes and corn on the cob. I also got a house salad and enchilada soup. I was surprised. The chicken fajitas and shrimp were very good. It was very flavorful. The mashed potatoes were okay nothing to special about them but the corn on the cob was awesome! As for my salad it was okay, the only thing was it had big chunks of the head of lettuce. The soup was great! My sister in law got the steak. She said it was good. The steak was medium-well and it was perfectly cooked. It had good flavor and was tender. Of course, we had to eat the chocolate molten which was the best! The waitress was attentive and nice. This visit was not too bad. read more

I was at this chilis last night after the fireworks , we had to wait a little bit for but didn't mind considering that when we got there about an hour ( or less) before they closed and they were at almost full capacity we didn't mind, our server and the other staff all helped to get our food and drinks out to us as quickly as possible everyone was friendly but very busy . Ah, good ol' Chili's. I could count on one hand the amount of good meals I've had at this location, but I don't think I could point out even two times that I had great service. That seems to be something all locations severely lack, to the point that I've questioned whether they specifically seek out people with terrible customer service skills for their teams. I couldn't even tell you how many times I've been here over the years and received awful service. I live about 10 minutes away and this is sometimes (what seems like) the best option for a late night meal when most other places are closing. I always regret it and wish I'd just made something at home, or even gone hungry. You're likely to get left with an empty drink for 10 or more minutes, have your food come out cold or completely wrong, or have something under or overcooked. The drinks are also lacking. I have yet to find an alcoholic drink here that wasn't disappointing, except maybe the premium margarita...and that's something I could get at any Mexican restaurant as their standard margarita, and those places do it even better (and probably cheaper). About the only good thing about Chili's is the skillet queso, which I think has become more nostalgic than anything else for me. The chips they serve are so thin they break each time you dip them, but I could eat a whole plate of that super salty stuff on my own. That is the only reason I gave two stars. Oh, and the potato soup, which is also yummy. Overall, if you're looking for a good place to eat, go to pretty much any other restaurant in the area (like Bada Bing, which is practically next door). You're unlikely to find good food, drinks, or service here. read more

After poor service, we hoped the food would make up for the wait and experience. It didn't. My Buffalo chicken sandwich tasted rancid and I took 2 bites. I told our waiter and his only reply was "I can't take it off your check, that's above my level." I didn't ask for it to be taken off, I just want to be able to eat! Y'all know I like Chili's and I like chains. if you're not a fan of either, then you probably won't agree with me about how great it is here! The first thing I LOVE about this place is that it is completely nonsmoking, unlike the one in Webster. That is almost a 5 start review right there! I'm a runner and I enjoy going to places that offer a complete nonsmoking environment. The staff was a little slow, so that's why I didn't give a full five stars, although it was nice to have time between the appetizer and the entree; waiting for the dessert made me realize how full I was though, which did not help. Hubby had to wait on his drink a couple of times but all in all it wasn't painfully slow, just enough to not brag about it and to get a little thirsty. We got the Two for $35 deal, which is a really good deal when you're super hungry! Which I was, having run a half marathon earlier that day. But for $35 you get two alcoholic drinks, an appetizer, two full size entrees and a dessert. So yeah. That's copious amounts of food, y'all. Plus, it was good. Really good. The mango margarita was good but really sweet, and not really strong, so not sure if I would get that again. It was rimmed in sugar too which just added to the sweet. I got cheese sticks for the appetizer and they were hot and fresh and cheesy; you know when you bite into it and the cheese just stretches and stretches? Mmm hmm. Good stuff! I got the Chicken Bacon ranch Quesadillas which is almost my favorite thing at Chili's. I mean, fried cheese and bacon and chicken wrapped up in yummy carbs? How can you go wrong? Hubby got the steak and it was cooked just right he said, so he was happy.Then we got the Skillet Chocolate Chip Cookie, which came out warm with vanilla ice cream and was DEELISH but man we were so full we couldn't even finish. I know...I know...it's just wrong to give up on a chocolate chip cookie, but I guess a half marathon isn't enough for all that food! I will be back. They do have a few "healthy" options, and we do like the two for $20 deal as well (no drinks, no dessert). Here's the thing..... Its no secret that being a vegetarian in Texas can be dangerous, especially with the surplus of charred and bbq-ed meat everywhere. After visiting Chili's to catch up with friends I realized that finding vegetarian food in Texas might be as simple as asking the waiter what vegetarian options are available.......who would have thought? I settled with vegetarian fajitas, the waiter went out of his way to make sure they arrived jam packed and sizzling with just about every type of veggie on the Chili's menu. While veggie fajitas aren't exactly rocket science they arrived to my table hot, well seasoned, and yummy in every way possible, add flour tortillas, guacamole, and rice and I was a happy girl. The chicken is amazing and they let you sub other sides for the rice and beans. This is my local Chili's and I go all the time! Never a bad experience with food or service. We sat here staring at several tables full of half eaten food the entire time we ate...on a Saturday night! Food took forever, three ketchups given to us were empty, all of the drinks tasted like rusty sink water and the entire staff seemed to have personal issues with each other and it made the environment terrible. I try to give all locations a fair shake but this is ridiculous. Shame on you ownership or management. Good food for a decent price. I got the texas fries as my appetizer, they were good and I love the ranch. I ordered a smokehouse burger which was good but a little greasy. My aunt got the chicken tenders with fish batter that was supposed to make the batter "fluffy". It wasnt that great, the chicken fried steak batter to make the batter extra crispy is way better. I always get a mango tea which I like but sometimes the waiter doesnt add much mango syrup. The waiter was friendly and did check up on our table. Overall this is a decent place. read more

Hm, not sure what happened to the bad reviews on here for this location but I had a few pick up orders from here without any hiccups. No attitudes, no issues, no hassles =/. I drove by this location quite frequently and they're ALWAYS crowded (thus I took my chance with this location and was not disappointed) So far, no bad food or any orders that didn't seem fit to their price. Make sure to read the * and the conditions of some items on the menu though so you won't be surprised for the extra charge cuz you didn't order the set like it supposed to be. For my case, I like the grilled corn they have, so on my second pick up order, I ordered an extra grilled corn thinking it's gonna be about a buck or so until I saw the bill and re-read the menu about A-la-cart items. Warning - DO NOT USE THIS CHILI"S LOCATION!!!!!!! Unbelievable... ordered a side of onion rings... there were 5.... for $2.99... This LOCATION of Chilis SUCKS!!!!!!! Called the manager - she said it was done with the weight of the product... just so happened that i have a scale for postage available - the onion rings were supposed to be 4.5 oz for $4.00... weighed them with the manager on the phone... they were 2oz.... REALLY???? Seriously.... the packaging with the box weighed 3 oz... Honestly, the food was horrible. I ordered the boss burger, it came out cold and hard as stone, I don't think that they even bothered to cook any of the meat in it. When I told the waitress that my food is stone cold, she offered me new burger buns instead of the original ones that where on the burger. I told her what about the meat and she told me "would you like a new burger or just new buns". That was the worst treatment I've ever had. They brought me a new burger, but by the time it came out all my friends had finished their meals, while I was waiting for mine. They gave me the first burger for free, but they charged me half for the second burger, and the burger wasn't even that good, the brisket was dry and flavorless, the lettuce had a very storing flavor that overpowered the entire flavors of the burger, the buns where soggy, it had one small slice of tomato, and the patty was well done, and very under seasoned. I noticed this location had opened back up after being closed I expect from Hurricane Harvey, so I decided to try them out for a lunch date. The menu has been revised, and for the most part, I like the new changes. There's flavored lemonades (one of my faves) and a lot of what appears to be healthier choices. I day that b because my date pointed out a salad on the menu that is featured in an article for having more calories than a Big Mac combo, but I digress... So, or server was pretty good. Very pleasant, but a bit unsure about the menu. That's okay; maybe she was new... However, I ordered the salmon and requested my Mexican rice be substituted for the grilled avocado I saw paired on another entree and when it arrived, it was just a half avocado sliced. I notified her if the mixup and she proceeds to tell me they do not offer such. Therefore, I found it on the menu and pointed it out; so they requested the chef prepare it. Definitely not what I expected... I also ordered sautéed tomatoes and garlic in which the garlic was cut in inedible and irregular shapes and the tomatoes... Well, not what I expected. I really think it was just a lack of skill from the chef on duty. Although my meal was average at best, I was very pleased with the continued attentiveness of our waitress as well as the pleasant attitude if the manager on duty. Decided to eat lunch at Chili's yesterday and after my visit I just needed to post a review. When we arrived we were promptly seated. The staff are wearing mask as well as customers upon entering. We ordered our chicken crispers, Presidente margaritas, hamburgers etc as usual. Our waitress was very sweet, attentive and no problems. When our food arrived we noticed that my husbands corn was a little over cooked, making for chewy corn, and I needed a refill. We looked for our waitress but couldn't find her. Now mind you at 2pm the restaurant wasn't very busy and we thought it unusual we couldn't find her as she had been so attentive. We can wait, not a big deal but like I said she was just nowhere in sight. Thinking maybe they cut hours, maybe she was helping in the kitchen we were just about to flag another person down when we saw our waitress rolling an elderly lady from the bathroom. My husband and I just looked at each other as we realized there was an elderly couple across from us. Our waitress had helped the elderly lady go to the bathroom. The husband tried to tip her, as it surely would've been a difficult task for him, but she refused. Once she made sure the couple was good she came over to us. As our hearts were beating and our eyes swelled with tears, suddenly a burnt corn and empty drink seemed so trivial. We thanked our waitress for being such a kind person. I just think it's so important to recognize the good we see. As Coronavirus dominates our lives and we live in a divided country it was so nice to see good. A selfless good. I hope Chili's recognizes the asset they have with Lexi part of their team. This person has great customer skills and she is exactly the type person that Chili's wants reflecting their values. We come here because it's so close to home. I have always had great service at the bar. EVERY time never fails, it's great. This time not so much. We decided to sit in a bar booth. We were greeted in a timely manner...ordered drinks...refills on our alcoholic beverages took FOREVER. I get it, I was a restaurant manager and it's Friday night, it's expected to be a little slower. I'm not picky about that. The one-star rating comes from the 45 MINUTE TICKET TIME for our food. We literally sat there forever. Not once did the server check on us or give us an explanation as to why it was taking so long. My boyfriend had to ask the hostess to speak to a manager, as I was explaining the situation before I could even finish the manager just walked away. I was sitting there with my jaw dropped not believing he just walked away. (All I said was would you mind checking on our food, it's been about 45 minutes since we have ordered.) This ticked my boyfriend off and they brought the food moments later. Finally fed up, we just asked to have it boxed up. Yes, they took care of our food...but, you guys need to slow down and listen to your guests when there's an issue such as a 45 minute ticket time. That's just unacceptable. Also, there was ZERO explanation. Definitely made me feel like a burden. read more
