They have not chabged the oil that they cook the steak in for chicken fry style in a lobg time...hopibg they also do not mix seafood in that oil...the taste remains in your mouth, nasty! My mom, my husband, 3 kids, and myself came to this location to try out since it's new and the closest one to us now. We love TR and we were excited for the steak, specifically. My husband's steak was supposed to be a medium and it was rare. Like mooing, rare. They did take it back and fix it, but by the time we got it back, we were just done with the entire experience, so he took a bite to see if it was good then and he took the rest home. His 17oz steak, with one bite taken out to try at the restaurant turned out to be a 7oz steak at home when he weighed it. At most, a steak will lose 30% of its weight through cooking depending on how much you cook it. In that case, he should have had at least a 12oz steak, minus a bite he took at the restaurant. There's no way you lose 10oz off a steak cooked to medium. Anyway, on top of that, my husband also had a shard of glass in his Long Island iced tea. He thought it was ice and nearly swallowed it. We understand mistakes happen. But the manager came to talk to us and claimed that the bartender "looked through the ice and didn't find any glass." I am absolutely horrified if that's the standard that was used to determine if there was glass in the ice. My husband's glass wasn't broken, we checked, so the glass came from elsewhere. Usually, it stems from lazy bartenders using the glass to scoop ice OR they broke a glass and then didn't completely empty and clean the ice bin. Either way, there is absolutely no world in which "looking through the ice" can determine whether there are shards of glass in it, simply due to the idea that glass looks like ice. Instead you have to empty it even if it's annoying and you're busy. I was a bartender for several years and there's no way I wouldn't have completely drained the ice bin if someone had complained of glass in their drink because of the harm and damage that can be done if someone were to swallow a shard of glass. This indicates a severe lack of accountability and responsibility for the lives of people you're serving. We will not be back to this location and I suggest that Texas Roadhouse do a lot more, much needed, manager training because this level of disregard for the safety of guests shows that we can't trust the judgement of those running that particular restaurant. read more

Stopped in for dinner with my mom and had a fantastic experience! We started with their famous fresh baked bread rolls warm, soft, and served with that addicting cinnamon butter. Honestly, we could've eaten a basket of just those! For dinner, I had the BBQ Grilled Chicken with mac & cheese and green beans. The chicken was juicy and full of bold BBQ flavor, the mac & cheese was creamy and cheesy, and the green beans had just the right amount of seasoning and snap. My mom ordered the Portobello Mushroom Chicken, which came smothered in a rich, savory mushroom sauce. She paired it with loaded mashed potatoes (bacon, cheese, the works!) and a fresh house salad. Everything came out hot and flavorful. She also had the Jamaican Cowboy frozen margarita fruity, smooth, and the perfect drink to kick back and relax with. The service was great attentive, friendly, and fast and the atmosphere was lively without being too loud. Classic Texas Roadhouse charm country music, great vibes, and that welcoming, down home feel. Having heard so much about Texas Roadhouse's steaks, ribs, and especially the bread, I finally decided to check it out on Mother's Day, after the initial grand opening buzz had died down. Knowing it was a holiday, my mom, brother, and I anticipated a wait, and the 30 minutes we spent before being seated was no surprise. We were lucky to have Isabella as our waitress. For my first-ever meal here, I ordered the 12 oz. prime rib, and it was cooked to a perfect medium-rare. The loaded baked potato was classic, and the fresh vegetables were a nice, crisp accompaniment. My mom and brother both enjoyed their 6 oz. sirloins with ribs, mentioning how tender the ribs were. Oh, and the warm rolls with cinnamon butter lived up to the hype! Isabella was attentive and friendly throughout our meal, making the experience even better. I really wanted to love the experience but it was meh. I called a day in advance to see if they take reservations and of course the answer was a no. Which I do understand that is a choice for a business especially if it's a corporate decision? Anyways no problem. The very nice worker on the phone told me that they did have an online waitlist I can sign in on the day of so it shouldn't be a problem. Awesome! Well fast forward to today (Wednesday evening), the online waitlist was not functioning so that was a bummer. We had a group of 11 individuals so bae and I decided to arrive early to get on the waitlist so our guests wouldn't have to wait too long. We got there at 5:50pm and were told that the wait would probably be around 35 minutes - 45 minutes. Additionally, they didn't have a large enough table to accommodate our group so it would be a table of 8 and a table of 4. Well it turned out to be an hour and 15 minutes wait and those tables were two booths (one with two extra chairs at the end). We asked if we could store our cake in the back and unfortunately there was no room for it so we just kept it at our booth. Our server was really nice and did a great job with only a couple of minor hiccups. It was only the birthday boys food that was messed up of all people but we didn't complain because we understood it was really busy. We got the combo appetizer with mozzarella sticks, fried pickles and rattlesnake bites (jalapeños and fried cheese) for the table to share. It was pretty decent, and the mozzarella sticks passed the cheese pull test. For entrees, I got the ribeye with smothered mushrooms, with a side of mac & cheese and house salad. Bae got the Dallas filet with smothered onions (but he was given smothered mushrooms) with a side of loaded sweet potato and corn (which they forgot and later brought out after we were able to flag down our server). Also pro tip - you can ask for the standard toppings for the loaded sweet potato instead of marshmallows. So make sure you specify! My Mac and cheese was pretty sad, it wasn't cheesy at all and needed salt. While on the other hand the mushrooms were too salty. I think I just got a bad cut because I know ribeye is supposed to be fatty but I think my cut was like 75% fat lol. Overall I think the majority of our party thought the food was okay but nothing that would make us want to come back. Nothing bad to say about the service, I think everyone was kind and did their best given how busy it was! But yay for checking off eating at Texas Roadhouse in Texas. Me and my husband visited this location yesterday I have been there before and I was quite happy with my service and my food but when I went yesterday, they was very busy short staffed I waited 15 minutes just for someone to bring drinks to the table and then I waited another 45 minutes just for food not trying to be a Karen I understand they was very busy but it seems like their staff was under a lot of pressure in I even overheard a manager arguing with a staff member I think everyone at this location is under trained in the managers does not know how to train their staff and when I did receive my food everything was cold so even though I didn't have a pleasant experience this time around, I will be going back because it is the cleanest location of Texas roadhouse read more

Went to this location with my family for the first time since it had opened. I noticed they did not have the fried okra on the menu that I've had at other locations so that was already odd to a bad start for me. But I ordered my usual grilled shrimp with rice, a baked potato and Caesar salad. Everything was good but the rice was mushy so I didn't eat it. Service was good at first but towards the end of our visit, the waitress seemed kind of preoccupied. She kept forgetting to bring us items that we had asked for. The location was clean and orderly despite it being prime dinner time. We were seated fairly quickly. Our server, Ashley was great! She was enthusiastic and helpful. There was also a manager I believe who came by our table and checked in on us occasionally. He was friendly and informative. The atmosphere and theming of this chain is great. There's always something new to look at and each booth feels well enclosed but still open enough to see the rest of the restaurant. I could see this place being overstimulating for some but, but for me, the music was at the right volume and nothing was too distracting from my experience. It was also nice to see the severs participate in a line dance randomly in the middle of the restaurant, as well as someone being celebrated for their birthday. I wasn't aware of traditions like that before visiting and it left a much more memorable experience than somewhere like Logan's Roadhouse. The food was excellent. Those rolls are to die for! I ordered the grilled salmon. While this is a steakhouse, I was impressed with the quality of the salmon. It had the perfect texture and combination of flavors. The lemon butter not so much. Wasn't my thing, I much prefer the one offered at Floyds Seafood. My side proportions were good and I was left full by the end. The restaurant uses a tablet for things like a digital menu, games, etc. like many other chain sit-downs. It did its job, though I do prefer the game selection on the one at Chilli's/Olive Garden. Our dining experience here was extremely disappointing from start to finish. First, our group was seated at a booth clearly meant for six people at most. Instead of properly accommodating our party, staff placed a folding chair at the end of the booth, leaving almost no room for anyone to eat comfortably. The food quality was also poor. The chili was almost entirely liquid and had very little cheese or onions. Service throughout the meal was disorganized. The server did not bring the kids' meals out with the first wave of food, which meant the children were waiting while others were served. She also seemed unsure of what dishes she was delivering and repeatedly handed out plates without knowing what they were. To make matters worse, she spoke so quietly that we couldn't hear her over the restaurant noise. When we asked her to speak louder, she just stared at us as if we were supposed to remember every item we ordered and identify each plate ourselves. A major mistake happened with the steaks. My 8 oz New York Strip was given to someone else at the table and the server told them it was their 8 oz sirloin. My sides arrived with the first wave of food, but my steak didn't arrive until the third wave -- and it was a 6 oz sirloin instead of the 8 oz sirloin we ordered. That's when we realized the New York Strip that had already been partially eaten by someone else was actually my steak. One of the kids' meals wasn't brought out with the first, second, or third wave of food. We eventually had to request it because it seemed like it had simply been forgotten. Our drinks were empty for much of the meal, and we had to ask more than twice for refills before getting them. When we asked for boxes for leftovers, we had to request them multiple times. We were also told there were no bags for the to-go boxes until we pointed out that the table next to us had just been given one. Suddenly bags were available. All of these issues were brought to the staff's attention during the meal, and a manager was eventually called to the table. Unfortunately, the only resolution offered was adjusting the bill from the 8 oz sirloin we ordered to the 6 oz sirloin that was mistakenly delivered. From the moment we sat down, the service was beyond disappointing. We had to constantly remind our server to bring basic things to the table, and it felt like we were being completely ignored. I ordered my steak medium well, and it came out rare. On top of that, there was a hair in my food. Completely unacceptable. When we brought it up to the staff, all they offered were two small coupons as if that would make up for the awful experience. It felt like they didn't even care. We came as a family hoping to enjoy a good meal, but instead left frustrated, disgusted, and still hungry. Our server, Christa, was excellent - good attitude, friendly, offered suggestions, answered questions, and took good care of us throughout our meal. The place was packed (Friday night) and there were still people waiting to get in when we left an hour and a half later. The music was fine until one song got super loud then then next song it was back down. It was our first time. Our server was great. The only think is the food was not hot. It was warm. Like when its put under a warmer for awhile until the rest of the food is ready. The kids were able to eat right away cause theirs was room temp already. It was Mother's Day and a party of 7 of us went. Got seated promptly. We got there at 10:30am and they opened at that time. Once seated Kade was our server. The rolls and butter were really good! I had the 8oz filet it was cooked perfectly with onions and mushrooms. Loaded baked potato and salad. My filet was so tender you could cut it with a fork. A couple of our party had the ribs. Fall off the bone! So tender and great flavor. My partner has the chicken fried sirloin and it was the best he's ever had. He had the Mac n cheese but it was a little dry and needed a little salt. But other than that it was good! My mom had the filet medallions. Very good except she likes her steaks very well done but it was too pink for her liking but sent it back to cook a little more. It came out and she was happy with it. Kade was a good server and our overall experience was very good! I will definitely go back. As busy as it was everything came out quickly and was fresh and hot!
