Three of my friends and I went to this particular Chili's around 1145am today. It has been awhile since I have been to Chili's, especially on this side of town. While it is convenient to other shopping areas, like Wal-Mart, the Chili's needs a make over and possibly an update as well. The woman's bathroom had shorter toilets, the paint was chipping on the floor, and the first bathroom stall had a feminine section with no bottom and no brown bag in there. Seeing that they first just opened, I would have thought they would have taken care of basic necessities. Our waiter was Wes, and while he was new, he was very kind. He stated that he was new and still learning the ropes. At one point, he accidentally dropped a straw on the floor and proceeded to place it in his apron; and I happened to see it in his apron for the rest of our meal. Thankfully he didn't give it to our table or any other table that I noticed; but he also never threw it away. Also, we received a lunch menu with TWO different prices. One said Lunch Break $9 Combos and the other one said Lunch Break $8 Combos. We mentioned our concern to our waiter, Wes; and he said he didn't realize it but would be back with the answer. He never came back with a clarification until we each received our receipt and found out what we each owed. My friend Maria got a Double Cheeseburger without any tomatoes. While the burger came lopsided, the burger meat was great, the cheese was the best and the burger bun was a little wet. Overall tho, she would have it again. I got the lunch Chicken Fajitas with no tortillas. Originally I asked for no sour cream and no guacamole. But when I received my cheese and pico, sour cream was included on it. I immediately stated my dissatisfaction and I received a new condiment section without any sour cream. The chicken was overall very moist and tasted great with a little cheese and pico added to it. The black beans tasted amazing with the added cilantro; while the rice tasted extremely spicy and was packed with grease. If I got the chicken fajitas again, I definitely wouldn't order the rice with the fajitas. My friend Janet decided to get the Lunch portion of soup and salad. She got the potato soup, to which she stated that she'd never had pimentos in her potato soup; and that the pimentos and green onions added color to her creamy potato soup. She was thankful that they put the blue cheese dressing on the side that she added lightly to her fresh salad. She loved the extra chips and salsa she got, stated the chips were VERY addicting, very little salt and had a light crunch. She would definitely get it again. My friend Beth decided to get the 2 piece Shrimp Tacos with Southwest Chicken Soup. She said that it was a little spicy but had an overall really good taste. She originally wanted the Enchilada soup, to which the waiter stated they were completely out of, and it was 12p on a Friday. But she enjoyed her shrimp tacos. Said it was the perfect amount of food for lunch and the tasty shrimp was grilled well. She loved the fresh avocado on the shrimp tacos; and she enjoyed the fresh chips on the side, as it added a little variety. Overall, it wasn't necessarily terrible food; but I would have to say that I would pick either a different Chili's or a different restuarant next time I am on this side of town.

We stopped in for a late night dinner. We had great service from our waitress, but I don't remember her name. Started off with their chips and salsa. Delicious thin fresh cooked chips and a very flavorful salsa. I had the Brisket Quesadilla. They were very tasty. I can't give a fair assessment of the brisket because it has cheese and jalapeños included (as all quesadillas do) but they were very flavorful and I would definitely get them again. My wife had the Old Timer Burger with cheese. Came with pickles, lettuce, tomatoes, red onion, mustard and cheddar cheese. The burger was very flavorful, but I would think it was prepared from frozen because the outer section of the burger was cooked to perfection while the center was medium rare as if it was still frozen in the middle while being prepared (which is why I gave 4 stars). Not a deal breaker, just an observation from how it was prepared. Fries were crispy and delicious. I saw a few desserts go by as we ate, but we were so full from the generous portions there was no room for dessert. But the people in the booth next to us devoured the Molten Chocolate Cake in no time flat! We will definitely visit again!

I dislike that I must edit a previous review in order to tell you how much I enjoyed today's Chili's meal. I wish Yelp allowed for multiple reviews of the same location by the same person, but alas, apparently the Yelp gods do not work that way. At any rate, hubby and I are still staying in as much as possible and ordering delivery. Today we chose Chili's at marketplace to make our dinner and Door Dash delivered it. I tried something new (to me anyway). I'm such a creature of habit but today, I ordered the chicken sandwich with the blue cheese dressing and blue cheese crumbles. Hubby got the tried and true chicken fajitas. Both were excellent. I love love love blue cheese. And did I mention I love blue cheese. I had them hold the avocado but even so this chicken sandwich was so delicious. This is not your run of the mill chicken sandwich -- this one is worth writing about and so I am. First, let's start with the size of this thing! Whoa! Better be hungry. But no matter how big Portions are it doesn't mean much if the food is not good and this was delicious. Delicious enough I came back here to add this post script to a review I did about a year or so ago. I highly recommend Chili's for dinner tonight. Yum! Way to go Chili's! Doing it right even in a pandemic! Stopped in after a busy Monday at the office. Wasn't crowded. Seated immediately very pleasant waitress. Knowledgeable about the menu and helped me make good decisions. I got the triple dipper. Lots of food for your buck. You get to choose THREE smaller portions from a list and that was way more food than I needed but can you say, "can I have a take home box?" I chose the extra crispy chicken and had the honey chipotle sauce on the the side and thank goodness I did cause it was way too spicy for my personal palette. But chicken was so good. Crunchy crispy outside and tender juicy inside. Onion petals and two small burger sliders rounded out my three. Yum. Yum. And Yum. A hit on all three. Hubby's 6 Oz sirloin was cooked just the way he ordered it and his fries and mushrooms hit the spot. Way to go, Chili's... nice way to dine on this rainy dreary Monday evening

This visit marked our third time at OBC Kitchen, and once again, it did not disappoint. This time we experimented with timing and booked an early reservation at 2:45 pm on a Saturday. We crossed over into the dinner menu and discovered something wonderful: the service and ambiance were even better than the busier evening hours after 6 pm. The staff was exceptionally attentive. Every dish and cocktail option was explained thoughtfully, which I appreciate, especially because I enjoy cocktails that come with a bit of theater. When drinks are presented with care, described well, and executed beautifully, the experience becomes part performance, part craft. Here, they delivered perfectly. The food, as always, was superb. We shared several chef selections including Beef Tallow Fries, Southern Grouper, Bacon in a Glass, and the Cola-Braised Short Ribs. Each dish was rich, flavorful, and confidently executed. Dessert continued the celebration with the Churro Cheesecake, and to our delight we were also gifted the Warm Buttermilk Donuts, which felt like a small act of culinary generosity. In a departure from my usual Manhattan and Old Fashioned flights, I tried a Bloody Mary and The Cure, both excellent and beautifully balanced. At this point I can confidently say OBC Kitchen is one of my favorite restaurants in the country. The consistency, creativity, and hospitality make every visit memorable. A special thank you to the team who took care of us on Saturday, March 7th, 2026. You elevated an already wonderful experience and made it even better than usual.

But the food was so good! I had been there once before, shortly after opening, and thought it was so-so. But the 2nd visit was a much better experience. Since we had a large group, we sampled each other's dishes and everything was delicious. The burrata appetizer was really good. I had the "make me something sweet" mocktail and it was pretty and tasted refreshing. Our server was top notch and explained every dish on the menu, and gave us recommendations. He really took his time with us, and you could tell he was a pro. More excited to return after this second visit than after the first! 11/26

For our appetizer, we had the beef tartare, it was also just okay. We didn't even finish half of it. The star of the dish was the rye crisp, unfortunately. For our entree we had the baked rigatoni and the pork tenderloin. The pork tenderloin dish was delicious and so was the rigatoni. That was a plus. It was extremely loud in the restaurant. Be prepared to yell at your table partner. Between the amount of people talking loudly (I assume to attempt to talk over the loud music) and the music, and being seated really near other people, having a conversation was difficult. So don't go with anyone who is hard of hearing with background noise (my husband lol). Food took a little longer than what I'd prefer to come out. The restaurant itself had a great vibe and decorations were cute.
