This was the worst experience. Don't bother. Find somewhere else to eat. We picked a chain because we are from out of town with picky kids. We thought we were picking the safe choice by choosing something they know. Waitress did her best, but there was no management presence and it showed. At our local Chili's in NC the manager walks around to each table at least once during the visit, which leads to great customer satisfaction. This location missed that memo, apparently. The bartender was incompetent. They made our margaritas wrong. We mentioned it and were informed we were wrong. The description on the website, menu, and our previous experiences ordering the exact same thing in NC prove the bartender wrong. They also overcharged us for said margaritas . We'll never return here when we come back to Lexington. Just save yourself the trouble. A vending machine at least gives me what I asked for ‍. It would have been the better option for the night. Best deal is the 2 for deals... best app is bottomless chips & salsa, yum. I've been to this Chilis a few times and the service, food, and cleanliness have been consistent. We've always gotten seated right away- though I will say we end up here at odd mealtimes. The bar area is great If you want to catch a game- huge tvs. The food is good, nothing out of this world crazy but I do love their chips and salsa and that chicken enchilada soup. The fajitas are good as well. This most recent visit I had a turkey sandwich which was great. Overall I'd say this is a great go to place if you want a good variety of options- kind of comfort food in that way, nothing too wild. I'm sure we will be back again soon. read more

You close at 10... not 9:30 or whenever you feel like 10 o clock is when you stop serving guests so you shouldn't be closing before this time I understand that you all want to get out as soon as you can but if you want money you work for it and you work until closing and then some if your job demands it such as staying until close and then cleaning after that but it's not even this chillis fault it's lazy workers who I don't like at this location. This is the second incident I have had with the curbside worker this time saying you all turned off all of your kitchen at 9:30 it takes not even 15 minutes to make witch is still not your closing time I'm sure I'll come back and I'm sure I'll write more bad reviews of this location read more

This was my second visit to this Lexington location. Both times I've gone have been for lunch and both times the restaurant has been nearly empty. On this most recent trip my guest and I ordered sandwiches and one of us ordered from their three for ten menu. This is a good value in my personal opinion. For $10 we got chips and salsa (which we shared), a double burger with fries and a mini molten cake which was also shared. Lots of food for ten bucks! Cleanliness of the restaurant was good and our server, despite being new, was very attentive. Good visit overall. read more

Great service are server was very personable we came because we had a coupon for a free appetizer from the email club not realizing it wasn't in date yet they still honored it and he white cheddar bite were great especially the sauce . Yuk. I rarely offer reviews but feel compelled to warn others about choosing this restaurant. The place is gross. Potholes and litter in the parking lot. An absolutely skanky women's bathroom, with broken tiles, filthy-looking stall doors and a rotten floor. The whole place needs to be gutted and remodeled, but at the very least a fresh coat of paint. Our server was okay, it appeared he got seated with several tables at once so we had to flag him down to acknowledge our arrival and offer us beverages, and then continue to flag him down for refills and other needs throughout our meal. I ordered the Fiesta Chicken Salad Explosion which is usually a safe bet: a bed of greens, corn & bean salsa, cheese, tortilla strips and quarters of a cheese quesadilla arranged around the plate. I began to cut what was supposed to be grilled chicken into smaller bites and realized it was like rubber, pale grey and lukewarm. It had not been fresh-grilled, but was instead something that had been pulled out of a refrigerator bag. UGH. I flagged down our waiter, told him about the problem for which he apologized & brought me a piece of fresh-grilled chicken about halfway after I'd finished my salad. We ordered the chips and salsa for an appetizer. The chips were reheated and not fresh. They have also changed their delicious salsa recipe. I ordered the bacon ranch quesadilla with chicken. It looked like it had been sitting under a warming lamp for awhile. The cheese was chewy and the pico was turning brown. I had to smother it in sour cream just to eat it. My mom order the mushroom Swiss burger. It was extremely over cooked and burnt on the edges. The fries were a mix of old fries and and new fries (stale and fresh). The only positive was the margarita. We were disappointed because our last experience at a chili's at a different location was great. We will not be back. read more

I will say we came in close to closing time. But we was seated. I understand that the staff was cleaning and I'm ok with that. We sat in the bar because I noticed the other side was being cleaned. Another good visit. Cleanliness of the table and restaurant was of diner quality, which is normal for all chilis I've been to. The 2 for $35 is a value. You get 2 presidente margaritas, an app, 2 entrees, and dessert. Chilis drinks are actually pretty decent, better than many other restaurants in Lexington. The food has good flavor as well. Great meeting place! I do all my business meetings here. Atmosphere is relaxed and not rushed. We can have a nice Margarita from the bar and there is a big variety of foods to fit your business partners needs. The food is always fresh,presentation is consistently appeasing!!. Slow night ordered steak and chicken fajitas the steak was over cooked and looked like it had been previously cooked and reheated and or cooked a second time sent back and was finished with chicken fajitas before I received my steak and this time I received s smaller portion and steak was not cut. I cannot remember a time that I have sent food back in a restaurant that a manager did not come by to check, but not here no apology and good luck getting a drink refill my recommendation is stay away. read more

So.... I used to say, "The reason chains get to be chains is because their food is consistently good." Unfortunately, chains keep proving me wrong. I needed a place to take a guy who was outside of China for the first time for fajitas because everyone should experience fajitas. We got there late for lunch, and were seated promptly in the uncrowded restaurant. Unfortunately, it was a LONG time before we saw a server, and then an even longer time before OUR server showed up. Nice for her that she had a chance to have a conversation about this and that with the hostess on her way to our table. I ordered the lunch chicken fajitas for him and the chipolte chicken fresh Mex bowl for me. Both came with soup or salad... which frankly feels like over kill with lunch fajitas. I ordered chili for my guest, because everyone should try chili too, and chicken tortilla soup for me. He liked the chili. My soup? It was OK. The chicken tasted very processed. My guest was appropriately impressed with the fajita presentation (China has similar dishes that are served on sizzling platters, so fajitas are familiar and exotic at the same time), and seemed to enjoy them. My bowl was unbelievably dry and bland tasting. Again, the chicken tasted processed, but really it was the dryness and general lack of flavor that was most striking. Service continued to be SLOW. One does not expect to spend more than 1 hour when ordering lunch specials at a chain. They get a two stars because my guest seemed to like his food, but my experience other than that was pretty bad. Next time I'll opt for the consistent chain next door: McDonald's. read more

I would give this place 0 stars if I could. We walked in and waited to be seated for 15 minutes. There was no host or any indication that it was a self-seating situation. None of the servers even acknowledged that we were there. I will not be returning. We went to Roosters instead and had a much better experience. Soooo, after I gave this place glowing reviews because eating at the restaurant was a good experience, I have to downgrade quite a bit based on the takeout/Lexeatin experience((nothing to do with Lexeatin btw) Last time the food I picked up was way over cooked. The two times we ordered through Lexeatin the food was well below average sadly. Even though this time my wife's quesadillas were good, our kids meals had maybe 8-10 fries with their TINY burger bites(and expensive for so little food they got) I spent $60 total and I got the ribeye(ordered it medium rare) and it was so overlooked it was, sadly, inedible....like eating sawdust(completely gray through and burned on the edges....I def will not order delivery/takeout again from them since it seems their quality control goes out the window with to go/delivery orders. It may even keep us from going back because we've wasted ALOT of money for pretty bad food. I don't make much and we can't eat out hardly ever so I will go where I at least know my money will be used to get better food I'm sorry to complain(not what I usually do)but I have to be honest here. read more

Today after church me and my family went to eat here. I worked at this exact location in 2001, and honestly it is one of my favorite chains. My how the standards have fallen. We were seated and were promptly greeted by a young male server. Ten minutes after placing our order we had still not received our appetizer, chips & salsa. When I asked our waiter if he could get us chips and salsa he acted like we hadn't ordered it in the first place. Skip ahead eight to ten minutes we hadn't received our food, and we all were in need of refills. Finally, a manager asked if we would like some refills and she delivered quickly. However, when our food arrived it was delivered by a different server and was short one person's order as well as being wrong on another. The one person never received her meal. Furthermore, we were never asked if everything was okay. I told the waiter my order was incorrect to which he replied "well I was just going to snag you some extra fries, that way you don't have to pay." It is Sunday morning, right after noon, why would anyone think that is the appropriate time to guess somebody wanted something stolen on their behalf? I didn't. The next bit is a mess of waiting on him to bring us our bill and his continued effort to make up absurd excuses for the delays: "there was entertainment charges on your game system and I took them off," the thing was in the window seal the entire time, or "the manager likes to talk all the time so that is why I couldn't get back fast enough." We did not receive any more refills or any more attention. However we did manage to spot him several times working really hard on his smartphone. Not on purpose mind you, just while walking to the restroom or looking for someone to help us. The last straw was when he charged us for a side salad that was suppose to be included in a meal, and when we tried to tell him he walked away and said "no, it is fixed read the bottom." He also initally charged us for the order we never recieved. We went to the front and asked for the GM who was able to fix the ticket in less than three, THREE MINUTES. We waited thirty minutes at least on our server to "fix" it. The food was good, and the server acted nice but it seem liked he just didn't care. I shouldn't be so hard, but honestly this was one of the worst experiences I've ever had. I know people have hard and bad days,but this guy just did not care and it was disgusting. We pay for the experience in places like this, the music, the atmosphere and service. At this rate, I won't come in anywhere if they can't offer better. read more

Tried complaining on the website and couldn't get it to go through. Depending on the time you go, this restaurant is okay. I was upset with the portion size of a chicken meal once and the manager was prompt to fix it. Been a somewhat regular for several years now, and have noticed a good change in quite a few areas. Best overall personal service for any similar chain. Especially in the bar area, where open seating is always available. Much cleaner in the last year, with constant attention to menus and surfaces. Friendly attitude beginning right at the door. If you like TexMex, this is the spot. Fajitas are sizzling hot and come with so much fresh add-on you can't possibly leave hungry. The steak & chicken duo is outstanding. The ribs have always been very good. Best margarita is the Presidente. Well worth the price. Explosion salads exceed expectations. Overall a favorite hangout or way to relax on a Friday after work. I like the atmosphere and the service. I ordered a steak and it was prepared correctly. For my side i had the loaded mashed potatoes and they were okay. The potatoes seemed barely above lukewarm. I played the gaming device on the table and i was unaware they charged you $1.99 for usage. Im sure it said something about it when the game started but it should be posted on the game board itself. To sum up the experience to chili's it would be Kick A**!!! Not once have I ever been to ANY Chili's around the country and been disappointed. From the sizzling entrees to the hearty baby back ribs, everything on this menu is made to order to make you smile. The 2 for $20 has been a real help on those days you want to go out without breaking the bank. But still coming in on the weekend and getting a full rack of ribs can't be beat. I realy tried to give this place a shot on two separate occasions. Both times the service was mediocre at best. Waitress made us wait for a table, when three were open, no one had called ahead in the 15 minutes we waited. Food tasted standard for chili's which is good, but cold, like the servers had left it sitting on the counters for way too long. The first time the waiter was visibly chatting with the other staff on the other side of the restaurant, never checked on us after the food came out.
