I went here for dinner yesterday, the sirloin was delicious. I would recommend this chillis.

We were out visiting my brother. We decided to stop and get dinner at chili's. Always one of our favorite spots. However that didn't turn out to be a great idea. Gonna break this down into the Good, The Bad and The Ugly. The Good: They have good deals, we were seated promptly. The beverages came out quickly. We ordered easily and the appetizer ( Fried Pickles) came out pretty quick. The Bad: The first few pickles on top were good and crisp, then there were some stuck in clusters and then you could see that they weren't all the way done, could see uncooked batter on them. I mentioned it to the waitress as she passed, she apologized and took them back, they came back out and again similar issue, smaller ones seemed done where others didn't. No reason to send back again, entrees were on the way out. The Ugly: The entrees came out and looked good, my wife's Cajun pasta was on a very hot plate but the food was just warm. My chipotle chicken crispers, were like warm as was the fries and corn. At this point I'm over it and didn't wanna send it back. Fearing that they would only come out worse. Didn't ask for a manager, just ate the food and paid my bill and left. I don't think this is just this chili's, but I feel like what used to be a pretty darn good place for food has turned out to be one of the worst. This is likely the last time that we will go to chili's. Just not happy with the food they serve anymore. read more

What a waste of money. Got the the southwest egg rolls and they burned them and didn't even give you any sauce. The bacon burger only came with 1 strip of bacon on top of what I think is cheese. If you like to throw away money come here. read more

This chain is comparable to an Applebees, but the menu has a little more spice and flavor. In addition, the decor/design has a little more "spice and flavor" as well. At this location, I have experienced great service and good food. Note: I tried their Avocado Burger. I ordered it medium rare (that was the first time I was ever asked how I wanted the meat cooked on a burger) and it was one of the best tasting burgers I've ever had. UPDATE: I'm vegetarian now and I was afraid I would miss that great tasting Avocado Burger. Well, it turns out, any ground beef burger can be replaced with a grilled, black bean burger. I tried it and it was excellent. UPDATE: On my last visit, they added little touch screens at each table where you can pull up your check, add a tip if you like, and then swipe your own plastic. Typical restaurant bar. If you want a fairly quiet meal, choose the side opposite the bar. This place has some of the best chips and salsa around. And they are bottomless! They also have great burgers. My favorite is the oldtimer. Come for happy hour and get the bottomless chips for just $3. Let me start off by saying, if your already not signed up for Chili's rewards, sign up now!!! With Chili's rewards, you receive FREE chips and salsa or a non-alcoholic beverage with every visit! Chili's will also send you emails periodically for a free appetizer or dessert during midweek. Today, I visited midweek during lunch hours and ordered the $9.99 chicken fajita lunch special. I used my Chili's reward club to receive free chips and salsa and I had a coupon through my email for free cheese queso. Let's just say, I received plenty of food for a 10-buck lunch and even had plenty to take home for dinner! They add chili to their queso which takes some getting used to if your a cheese fan as I am, but, it is very tasty. Their chips are thin and crispy and served warm. Their salsa is on the spicy side, with just a little heat. The fajitas were flavorful with a sufficient amount of peppers and onions added. The toppings were good, but not as plentiful as I would have liked. The black beans included tomatoes and red onions for flavoring. In my opinion, they would have been better if they had added cilantro. I did have to wait about 5 minutes to be seated or even acknowledged by anyone; it seemed as though they did not have a hostess working. I've been to other Chilis around Louisville but this one is my fave. The staff are always friendly and make sure you have a great time. I love their chips and if you ask you can get a bag to go. The 2 for $25 is a great deal. You get an appetizer, two entrees and dessert. Their fajitas are the best and I can never finish mine. Their burgers are actually yummy as well. And my son got a smothered chicken burrito this last time and it was huge!!! I dont recommend the steak though. Always on the small side and there are so many other great options on their menu. To end any meal I highly suggest their skillet cookie. It's a deliciously chocolatey chip cookie cooked in a skillet pan. Its served warm with a gooey center and crunchy edges. And its topped with a huge scoop of vanilla icecream. Its perfect for sharing or eating all by yourself. read more

My boyfriend and I took the kids to chili's last night for dinner. The wait wasn't very long especially for a Friday night. We waited about 20 minutes. Our server was really nice and attentive. We ordered the chips and queso as an appetizer and it came out quickly. I feel like our food took a while. The kids ordered Mac and cheese and chicken tenders it was very standard kids menu food nothing super special. My boyfriend ordered the half rack ribs and Mexican street corn. He said the ribs were dry and the corn was cold. I ordered the chicken tacos and rice. My food was also a little cold but very flavorful. The restaurant is filled with television In the bar area. I feel like this would be a good spot to go for drink and appetizers maybe on a date night not so much a family restaurant. So I remembered that I had about $60 worth of gift cards for chili's a few weeks ago, that had been in my purse for months. I ordered dinner for me and my family and did curbside pickup. It's been a few years since I had eaten there. That food was the best food I had in a LONG time, like I almost licked my plate clean! Attempted a curbside order this past Saturday. Late day, up at 3am the next morning for work, kiddo asleep in the car seat. Easy curbside pick up hopefully and crash. Pick up time was 646 to 651pm. Chili's is a decent bar, and as a franchise I enjoy the food. However this location is terrible. It seems every time we try to give them a second chance, we end up disappointed. This latest visit was no different. We did curbside take out. Ordered chicken fingers two ways; given the wrong order. They were quick to correct the issue, so that is good. But biting into one of the chicken fingers I found a bone. With my teeth and cheek. A bone in a boneless piece of chicken. Contacted management on Wednesday and have not heard back. Wow! I have never had a great experience here and today was fantastic! The food was great! I had the Santa Fe salad with grilled chicken. Our server, Maria exceeded our expectations with her awesome attitude and personal recommendations! The quesadilla was a hit as well as the Caribbean and Margherita flatbread salads. Had a good dinner with the kids and was served by Jordan. I was a little skeptical when I saw the cheese fries, they looked a little over done, but weren't and turned out to be the best ones we ever had there. Jordan was his usual quite self, but messed with the kids. Food came out quickly and was good, did not have any complaints. Last time we ate at Chili's we had NO server and therefore no refills, only a food runner bring out our food, and had to grab someone and ask for a check. I work too hard for my money to spend $40 on such bad service and average food. Don't plan to return. read more

Working out where I do, there are tons of fast food, and chain food joints. Most are generally ok, I was very pleased with this Chili's locations. When you have limited amount of time for lunch at work, they have their curbside pick up, but we wanted to sit in and not be at work for a while. WE were quickly seated and our waitress took our orders quickly. Being a Wisconsin girl, I was very happy that one at our table ordered the cheese curds and they were delicious. Their menu had changed since I had last been to a Chili's but I like that they offer a lunch menu (soup or salad and main dish). Just had dinner there with my wife and another couple and it took 20 minutes to get our appetizer and then another 20 minutes to get our dinner. It was hard to sit waiting for all that time from ordering our food to receiving our dinner. Then a few minutes after our dinner was brought out another waitress brought out our dessert even though we had just gotten our dinner. My family Loves the food at Chilis; but unfortunately this visit was very disappointing. Our server, Hannah, was very inattentive to our needs and we had to ask over & over for the same things. Hostess was dressed like a customer, including still wearing a coat. Server was wearing a hat. Service was slow you could tell they were short staffed. Worked food service for years so I cut them slack. There was no excuse for the ice cold food, they really were not that busy. When we told server our food was cokd was he offered to fix it but we had been waiting for over 30 minutes for the food to get there the first time, so ate it anyway. Never saw a manager, he/ she never did a table touch and I'm guessing the server never mentioned the cold food. Asked for a to go box. Never got it. Then as usual they said card declined. It may not be the absolute best tex-mex, but it's above decent and firmly into good. I've had several meals here, the thin tortilla chips are my favorites from a restaurant and the salsa and guacamole are very good starters. Favorites are the southwest egg rolls, flat breads, margarita chicken, fajitas, corn, and southwest Mac and cheese. I don't let myself have the lava cakes often, but they never disappoint. To be fair I have been here twice before. The first time was great. Great server, fresh delicious food. The second time everything was "okay". The third time we came in at 815pm on a Wednesday night. We got seated and sat there for several minutes waiting to be greeted. This is typically a bad sign. Servers were cleaning their stations and basically ignoring us and the other 2 tables that got seated. Finally our server came. She greeted us very friendly and took our drink order. She brought them out to us quickly, took our food order and that came out quickly too. That was the end of the service for the evening. My order was incomplete and we needed refills but she never came back - not even once. She did show up in the dining room a little bit later but that was only to sit down at a table and talk with a customer, or maybe it was her boyfriend.
