I'm just not a fan. Only reason I was here was bc my wife wanted to go (and you know how that is!) Food is overpriced...greatly. Was it good though? Meh...nothing special. Kudos for having calories on the menu, but calories are super high in most things anyway. Service was just OK...again, nothing special. Our "server" basically did nothing but take our order. Ambiance is boring..:again, nothing special. If I ever go back, it won't be bc I suggested it...I can promise you that. read more

The food was SO good and it is made from scratch, so fresh (finally). To make it even better, the hospitality is above and beyond. My husband and I were greeted by Dani and John, who instantly made us feel welcome. They went so far as to sit down with us and explain the business, the food, and the outreach. Amazing! It lives up to all expectations. We will be back soon! I visited this location for friends birthday. I ordered the don julio margarita and the chicken bacon ranch quesadilla. The food came out hot and was delicious, I took home the leftovers and they were good the next day. The environment was nice. Our waitress was very sweet and got what we needed in a timely manner. The only thing that irked me slightly was that I could tell the waitress wanted us to leave so she could turn over the table. Understandable, that means more money in tips but we still wanted time to gather and talk. Other than that it was a great experience! The wait was very short for a friday night. read more

The take out system needs work. I stood inside with another woman for ten minutes while our food was on a shelf. Multiple people walked by and I realize we weren't their responsibility but they could have told someone. I got the triple dipper and didn't get the avocado ranch, a fried mozzarella looked like it was run over, and the sliders were pink which grossed me out. No napkins or silverware. when you are looking for a great ribeye steak...skip the popular steakhouses. Chili's in Hanover, PA has the most awesome ribeye I have ever had.Believe it or not, yes Chile's! I have ordered (medium rare) their ribeye on a dozen of occasions and have never been even slightly disappointed. I just recently brought my uncle here who even butchers and cooks his own beef and he was amazed and quite surprised. The steak is super tender with amazing marbling and flavor. Whatever the cooks in Hanover do to purchase and cook these amazing steaks....well done and if you choose the loaded mashed potatoe as your side, be equally impressed! Amazing job Hanover Chile's! me and my family came in 5 of us, then they proceeded to tell us we were to wait 30 minutes because there were 5 of us and not 4. then the host and waitresses proceeded to talk about non work related things the entire time we waited. they told us they were low on cooks that why a party of 5 had to wait but the multiple parties of 4 that came in before and after us got seated! read more

I was not satisfy with my experience at this restaurant in October. Upon arriving to collect my takeout order, I waited 10 minutes before being acknowledged by the blonde server with glasses. She seemed distracted by her phone and was gossiping with a coworker. How RUDE of her! When I asked about my order, she casually mentioned it had been ready the entire time. Food is always great, servers are good but this location is horribly run. Hostess's clearly would be better suited to not have one on one initial customer contact. Always understaffed in what seems to be the kitchen. This time we tried online "call" ahead seating with a preference for booth. Status was 11-26 min wait. Got there in 25 mins, waited another 15 which appeared to be just the regular wait line. Sat us at a table in the middle with 7 booths empty in clear sight. From now on we will either not visit this location or only do takeout. 3rd time was not the charm! read more

This Chili's is usually the better one in the area for this chain restaurant. We had a decent visit for a quick dinner on a Friday night. Service was good and our server friendly throughout our meal. We started off with an order of bottomless tortilla chips. Unfortunately, it appeared we got the bottom of the container because our order had almost no full chips, were just pieces, which made dipping salsa difficult and were very salty.. The second order they brought us was significantly better, which makes me wonder why they would even serve the crumbles to customers. Overall a decent place to grab a meal. read more

This place is located in a very busy shopping plaza. However, there is still plenty of parking. They have a nice happy hour. We went there for a late lunch. The food was decent and tasty. The Bartender was very friendly and knew her menu. She was definitely on top of her customers and her side work as she was constantly moving about working on something. I would like to say that you should NOT come here. Last time I came I choked on a mozzarella stick because it was to greasy, like their hair. I can't believe how rude they were too, I was told to wait 15 minutes just for some sticks. They were also over-fried and the restaurant was NOT clean at all. I expected at least some cleanses but nope! I got greeted by messes everywhere and even when I went to the bathroom I saw a rat! A rat! I just can't believe you Chilis.. You disappointed me and you lost a VERY loyal customer. I won't be coming back and don't expect anything from me. read more

Personally my food was lovely. I ordered the 3-for-me with the cilantro-lime carne asada *chefs kiss*. My friends who ordered the quesadillas however did not have the same opinions. So disappointed... we got take out during the shut down. I ordered over the phone and picked it up. I live not even 5minutes away from this Chili's. I got our food and brought it home. Whenever we go to Chili's we always get the same exact thing: Loaded Boneless Wings tossed in Honey Chipotle. It always comes with bacon and green onions (my favorite) on top. ALWAYS. Well this was the first time we got them as take out. Please just look at the picture. No words needed. I am PISSED. It looks like they stirred it around. And why are they missing ingredients? Stopped in on a Friday evening and I figured it would be busy. There was 4 people standing in front of me waiting for their table. They told me for a party of 3 it would be about 10 mins. Okay, no big deal. We did wait almost 20 mins..still no big deal. They don't seem to have their pagers anymore and they asked for my cell number for them to contact me. Not sure I'm a huge fan of that idea. When we finally got seated, we saw there was about 5 empty tables. Not sure why they weren't seating people there. Our waiter Bryan was really nice and fast. I ordered for my 1 year old before we ordered our meals since he was hitting his hangry phase. The kids option was okay. I wished fruit was like a dessert instead of a side. The paper mats were a little more grown up for a little kid so he was bored with that quickly. I ordered the Chicken and Waffles. This was good! I would get this again. It had a good heat and a little bit of sweetness. The waffles were a little hard on the outside but I did enjoy it. I got the Strawberry Lemonade to drink. It was a little too sour for my taste. Of what I consider to be mid-tier chain restaurants, this is my favorite. Yes, there's occasionally bad service, but the food at this Chili's tends to be good for something that needs to be mass-engineered to assure consistency across all locations. The Tex-Mexish menu offers a lot of options. The Loaded White Queso is probably completely unhealthy, but it tastes good and is hearty enough to make it a meal. My family also likes the flatbreads. They also make a great meal option if you want something lighter. I have to be honest, the wings don't thrill me. I do, however, like the Chicken Enchilada Soup. My son is a fan of the burgers and the requisite fries. My son also likes the ribs but I don't think they're a good deal. I really like the Mango-chile Chicken entree. I avoided fajitas at Chili's for a very long time because I thought they'd be pretty blah. I broke down the last time we were there and split the 3 meat combo (about $18 for chicken, beef, and shrimp) with my daughter. I was completely impressed with the flavor. Here's how Chili's describes them: "Sizzling to the table with garlic butter, cilantro, bell peppers & onions. Served with Mexican rice, black beans, guacamole, sour cream, pico, salsa, shredded cheese, flour or all-natural corn tortillas." I also like the occasional two-for-$XX meal deals. My husband and I can eat there (drinks excluded) for under $25. read more

They leave out my side of ranch every single time I order to go, I even called to ensure there was ranch in the bag. They said they would do that. No ranch once again. Don't order to go and expect your dipping sauces to be in there. It's not hard to add a simple ranch on the side. This chilis has some lazy workers. No more to go orders for me from this chilis. Whoever was working to go on the night March 25th needs a different job. read more

The location downtown was much better managed, the food was better and the service. the restaurant wasn't that clean either compared, the previous experience we had dined was that much better. I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the service I received during a recent visit. The service worker, Riley, demonstrated unprofessional and careless behavior that significantly impacted my experience. When I arrived to pick up a to-go order, Riley was engaged on her personal phone and failed to acknowledge my presence for approximately 5-10 minutes. When I informed her of my order, she indicated she would check on it but instead engaged in an inappropriate conversation with a male coworker. The exchange was highly unprofessional, creating an uncomfortable environment that I would rather forget. Upon asking about my order again, she informed me that it had been ready the entire time. As a regular customer, I found this experience disappointing. My order was cold by the time it was handed to me, and the worker's behavior was both disrespectful and lacking in basic hygiene standards. I had not been to a Chili's in years, but my daughter asked to go there for her birthday, so we tried it out. I was delightfully surprised at how much better it was than I was expecting! We had so delicious sweet and spicy mozzarella sticks (which are more like squares) and both daughters enjoyed the cheese pull. I got ribs and chicken tenders, and both were great. As someone who is always looking for an excuse to celebrate literally anything (especially if it involves food), this immediately made its way onto my weekend agenda. My adventure buddy and I rolled in around 10:30am and walked straight into what can only be described as a St. Patrick's Day pregame party. The parking lot was full, the bar was packed, and the crowd was decked out in green, shamrocks, and questionable life choices. Despite the chaos, we somehow snagged a booth right away, which felt like a small personal victory. We got seated and... were handed the regular menu. Cue internal panic. Because I had done my homework. I had studied the brunch menu. I had a plan. Thankfully, our server swooped in like a hero, brought us the correct menu, and reassured me that yes, I could still live my best brunch life. Crisis averted. We started with drinks because obviously. My adventure buddy went with the Lucky Leprechaun Martini (Tito's vodka, melon liqueur, pineapple - $11), and I opted for the Jameson Orange Mimosa ($9). The martini absolutely stole the show -- bright green, sweet, refreshing, and aggressively on theme. No notes. Then came the hard part: deciding what to eat. TJ Rockwell's did not mess around with this menu -- it was stacked. We landed on the Breakfast Eggrolls ($13) and the Afternoon Delight ($17) because we believe in teamwork and over-ordering for the sake of "the full experience." Those eggrolls were elite -- crispy on the outside, loaded with sausage, egg, and cheese on the inside, and even better dipped in maple syrup (which I absolutely did, no regrets). Sweet, savory, and a little dangerous. And then the Afternoon Delight arrived... and this thing was not a sandwich, it was a commitment. Ground breakfast sausage smashed on the griddle, Irish cheddar, bacon, all stacked between slices of homemade French toast with a side of potatoes O'Brien. It was huge, indulgent, and exactly what you hope for when you commit to a holiday brunch event. My adventure buddy handled it like a champ and cleaned the plate. What really impressed me was how quickly everything came out despite the place being absolutely slammed. TJ Rockwell's clearly came prepared for the crowd, and it showed. Our server was fantastic -- attentive, friendly, and thoughtful down to the little things (like bringing me a lid for my maple syrup so it could safely make the journey home, which I deeply appreciated). Our total came to $51.80 before tip, which is a little up there for brunch, but honestly, it felt worth it for the food, the drinks, and the full-on festive experience. When we left around 11:45am, the lobby was packed with people waiting for tables, so we definitely nailed the timing and avoided the full post-church brunch chaos. I had built this event up in my head based on their social media hype, and I'm very happy to report that it delivered. TJ Rockwell's understood the assignment. If they bring back Kegs & Eggs next year, I'll absolutely be back -- probably wearing something green and making equally excellent life choices.

The server was pleasant and brought us our drinks, bread and plates quickly. The stack of plates were hot, wet and the plates had melted cheese stuck between the plates. The server apologized and brought out fresh plates that were still wet. I was annoyed but rather than be difficult, I used a napkin to dry off the plates. We ordered the mango margaritas. The drinks arrived quickly and were tasty. We ordered tater skins as an appetizer. The server removed the half full app plate from the table without asking if we were finished. I was mid conversation as she swiped it off the table like it was an empty glass. We were so shocked we were momentarily speechless as our half our apps were carried away. Everyone ordered steaks. We specifically requested four medium and one medium-rare. Three steaks contained no pink and were cooked well done. The other two steaks were cooked perfectly. That is a 40% on cooking execution. Our server disappeared so quickly we couldn't tell her that we received overcooked steaks. We waited for the server to return and after 15 minutes gave up and we ate them as served. The seasoning was good. Three plates were a combo with shrimp and it was delicious. The sides were adequate and nothing standout. Before leaving, I used the restroom and found it in disarray. The sink was not draining and had at least an inch of standing water in it and the paper towel dispenser was empty. I'm not a fan of using the air dryers so I left the bathroom with wet hands. I left wondering how Kent would feel about the experience- dirty plates, inattentive service, removing half consumed plates of food without asking, bathroom facilities in need of attention. I was disappointed. In a restaurant where the founder stood for quality, I felt the his legacy was tarnished. Restaurants should be clean, well trained servers, and have fully functional equipment. For these reasons I've knocked 3 stars off.
