We had the 6 oz sirloin with salsa and chips. One thing that is important. The coke was coke and good. Not always the case with fountain drinks. We got the chips and salsa and I must say it was good. The customer service was good despite that it looks like a bad working environment. Food was great with exception of the sauces. The white sauce, I believe was ranch it was disgusting, like water. It looks like the actual sauce was diluted with either water or milk. Waste of money for the Owners. Even the ketchup has a weird taste. That's bad Ownership. But food was good. The fajita steak tasted boiled, no more complementary chips and salsa,mediocre at best. We were sat down after standing at the podium for a few minutes. We were sat down and no server showed up for over 10 minutes. Manager finally came by and took our order. Once we got our order, we only received tortillas for one person, had to ask for more. No plates were provided until we asked, then the server only brings one plate because the other ones are being washed. Meanwhile food is getting cold. Meal came with black beans but no spoons. Poor server was overwhelmed, floors were sticky, gross and full of random garbage, used utensils and restrooms was disgusting. Ordered online to-go and the appetizer sampler was disgusting, they southwest rolls were not even cut, they literally gave me a freaking whole roll. The ranch sauce container caps were not even on but in the ranch... They're very disorganized and only have a bunch of kids working the kitchen and the front counter. The order was placed through the Chili's website and upon arriving to the restaurant my order was never honored so I had to wait over 30 minutes to be told that my order was going to be made at that moment. I must admit, the food quality has gone down a bit to where it feels like it's all frozen food that they reheat in the kitchen but we still continue to give them the business lol. I've been coming to this chilli's for many years now and never had a bad experience here. The food has gotten better! My boyfriend and I ordered the 2 for $25 special. Chips and Salsa for the Appetizer, 6oz sirloin steak with Mexican rice and broccoli and some black beans. For dessert we ordered the strawberry cheesecake! All this food is $25 for two it can't get any better than that let me tell you. My husband and I just had lunch at Chilis on 119th and Kendall Drive (88 street). Pedro, who I can only assume was the manager, greeted us as we entered. He was extremely attentive, friendly, and made us feel like we were entering his home!!! He checked on us throughout our meal and even brought us extra sauce when we couldn't find our server and he saw us looking for him. Thank you Pedro for a great experience today! There was a time when I loved coming to Chili's to get fajitas. Sadly, that time has passed. After not having eaten here in quite some time, and my last few visits being take-out, I decided to come for drinks and fajitas. We were first seated at a booth in the bar area, and within a minute or two, we asked to be moved to a different table because the tables at the bar are clausterphobia-inducingly close to the seats. I'm a small person and I usually like to be seated close to the table, but I felt like I was stuck in there. A larger adult might not even fit. When we were moved to another booth, it was much better, though still smaller than typical booths which could be a problem for some people. The service was ok. Our server was helpful, but reluctantly so. Meaning, he answered all the questions with accurate information, but just seemed like he was in a rush to move on. We came at a non-peak hour and the restaurant was nowhere near capacity, so there wasn't an apparent reason for this. He also neglected to tell us that we are supposed to use a little machine at our table to order more drinks, dessert, and to pay our bill. The screen faced away from us, so we had no idea. That's probably also why he didn't come back much. They seem to be outsourcing service to machines here. And dirty, fingerprint-filled, germ laden machines at that. Why would I want to touch that while eating when I can just talk to a waiter? The drinks are tasty but extremely sweet. Take that into consideration when you order. The most disappointing aspect of this visit were the fajitas, though. Among the toppings, the cheese tasted like rubber. I ended up not even using it. The veggies from the grill were good, but the chicken itself tasted like it was pre-cooked and reheated in a microwave. It did not look like it was ever on a grill, and just had an artificial smoke taste to it. I didn't finish it, nor did I take home the leftovers. I hate wasting food, so it has to be pretty bad before I opt to just have it thrown away. Chili's used to be a place that I enjoyed coming to for reasonably priced food that was satisfying. It may not have been fine dining, but it was always decent quality and enjoyable. Now, however, the food just tastes cheap and packaged. read more

The dinning area is pretty large and you can also sit at the bar if you wish. It's a 360 table at the bar so you can get attended for drinks and food. Im never one to sit down and write a review on horrible service... Who has the time for that? But this time I must... since I got there, the wait for items we ordered was unacceptable. Things as simple as salt or more water, left us waiting till our food got cold. Our waiter Caesar looked overwhelmed, understandably, I guess, they looked under staffed, but when a rude waitress came near us, we asked politely: "Excuse me", she completely ignored us & kept walking, my brother in law said it even louder: "Excuse me" & she stopped for a split second but decided to ignored us too. I went to the lady that receives people, told her what just happened & that I would like to speak to the manager, she had nothing to say back... when I went back to our table we told our waiter Caesar, we would like to speak to the manager, he said he was the manager... OBVIOUSLY he was lying to our faces coz when a different server came to gathered empty plates, we asked who was the manager? he told us who it was (& was NOT Caesar). Then she said that maybe I didn't get it and because we didn't come in, she could have deleted the name. My niece asked if they call outside. She said no, only inside. My niece told her that it was a bad system as they say to the customers to wait outside when it's full inside. The food was horrible. Salty!!!! No flavor just salty. Took forever to be served.
