Chicken Crispers
Trent B.

Come here once and a while with my wife for lunch, the restaurant is usually clean and there's never really a wait. She enjoys getting the smothered burritos while I enjoy the chicken crispers or a burger. Prices are as one would except from a sit down chain restaurant and food is pretty good for the most part. The one main issue I always have with this place is the waitresses never like to write down your orders , because of this on more then 1 occasion they've messed up a simple order. This of course annoys the shit out of you and makes you want to continue on to another place. Not a bad place to visit once and a while.

Tostada chips!!

Once seated, waited more than 10 minutes for anyone to greet us, or take a drink order. Restaurant was less than half full.

I'm a big time fan of Chilli's and this was the first chilli's restaurant where I tried Mexican food.

I ordered the chicken fajitas with no peppers, only to be told that they coudn't accomodate that request. Apparently they don't cut their own onions & peppers anymore, it comes in as a mix. I'm sorry, but if someone orders no peppers, accomodate them. The fajitas came out not sizzling and stuck to the cast iron skillet. Chicken was lukewarm so it was sitting in the kitchen for a bit. The tortillas used to be in a basket wrapped in a napkin to keep them warm & soft. Not anymore. They came on the skillet with the lukewarm chicken & they were hard around the edges. More evidence of food just sitting around. I loved the chicken fajitas there, that place was what made me even like fajitas. Unfortunately, they have lost me as a customer. They've even changed the way the do the tortilla chips. I don't think they're homemade anymore. They taste like they were dumped out of a bag into a basket. I'm sure these decisions were made to save money. Well, in an attempt to save money, you have sacrificed the quality of the food. Horrible!!!!!

It's close to places like target and the mall, so it's a good stop if you need a quick bite and don't want mall pizza or a burger. You can Frankenstein a salad or bowl to fit whatever restriction you've devised for yourself, which worked for me: I had a salad with meat, beans, veggies and guacamole, and I didn't want a tortilla or rice. My wife's burrito was a sloppy affair, and is outclassed at every turn by authentic versions a few miles away. Service is basic fast food with some customizations available as you build your quasi-Mexican creation, and Moe's is happy to tack on a fee for some melted cheese goo to go with their chips. Ambience is basic fast food, and pretty noisy.

The older lady at the counter was extremely rude to me. She responded with a sigh and an eye roll. I asked (kindly) if I would have to pay for this one. I cannot afford to spend 30 dollars on lunch so I wanted to be sure she wasnt going to waste the product if it wasnt going to be complimentary, (since she didnt secure the lid anyway). She told me shed give it to me for free this time but gave me half the amount I got the first time. I thought that was petty. After she was done making it she slid it to me, and again, the lid wasnt secure. I guess im team chipotle now.
