I come here very, very often! And every single time I am, it's always a pleasing experience. Drinks are always being refilled, check ins from the staff, and the food has always been very yummy! I haven't been to Chili's in forever, so when I passed by this location, I decided to try their Ultimate Cajun Pasta (grilled chicken, shrimp, penne in Alfredo sauce, topped with chile spices, Parmesan, tomatoes, and green onions), along with garlic bread and extra Alfredo sauce. Ordering it to-go, I was pleased with how quickly the meal was prepared, which is always a plus. Unfortunately, my experience took a downturn when I opened the packaging. To my dismay, the container of extra Alfredo sauce and the garlic bread (wrapped in aluminum foil) were placed inside the main food container and directly on top of my food. The pasta itself was a bit bland to be labeled "Cajun," but it had that classic Chili's flavor. The extra Alfredo sauce helped balance the dish, but the poor packaging overshadowed the meal's taste, and I didn't end up eating much of it. The garlic bread, placed on top of the pasta, became soggy and unappealing -- inedible. The food was just okay overall, and I probably won't return. Chili's could greatly improve their to-go packaging practices. A separate bag or compartment for additional sauces and side items like garlic bread would go a long way in ensuring the meal arrives as intended. Convenience doesn't have to come at the cost of presentation and quality. This was a waste of $27. read more

This is one of our favorite local restaurants. I probably wouldn't order a steak from there again, but everything else has been great since the new owners have taken over. Very good service too. It does get crowded at times, so I'm not sure where these negative reviews are coming from. Maybe from before it was bought out because it was not great back then. This is one of our favorite local restaurants in the Lincoln Way community. Considering the inflation, Chilis is still one of the cheapest restaurants to take your whole family! The food has always been excellent and we went there for national fajita day! The service is pretty good but when you are seated in the bar area at a table the bartender is your server. That can sometime mean you have to wait longer because they are making alcoholic drinks for the whole restaurant! They have a monthly drink special and it's usually a featured margarita. The waitress we had was very attentive and welcoming, we felt like we were included in the Chili's family. Unfortunately for her, the food was only adequate. Our appetizer, the chips, came out already significantly cooled. When we order the chips, we want them to be warm. I got the big mouth bites with fries as the side, they were also cooled and that really impacted the taste and the experience. My grandma got the mac and cheese as one of her sides. It was made very clear to us that no substitutions were allowed. We weren't offered substitutions. If it says on the menu that you get fries and mac and cheese, then that's what you get. Initially, my grandma was excited to try the mac and cheese. But that excitement quickly turned to shock, then outrage. She said it was the worst thing she's ever tasted. I'm just worried for the people who might have dietary restrictions to not know that they can have substitutes. If I have relatives that for some reason can't have dairy products, or products with gluten, then they can't be included. The communication could be more clear. For the record, I wasn't upset, because her additional side (the french fries) went to me. I almost felt bad for the poor waitress. She was incredibly patient, personable, and kind-hearted. It's not her fault that the food offerings were subpar. The ambiance was nice. Though you could barely hear yourself think over the music. On the whole, the staff were friendly. Chili's has a special place in my heart. It's like a comfort food for me. We've been coming to this location several times since we moved out to the area. I don't know if it's the covid thing or what but they have open tables they don't sit customers at and a 30+wait for 2. You have to sit at the bar if you want to get seated quick. I don't mind that since it's just my husband and I. Seriously though Chili's needs to get their crap together. I'm sure this is franchise wide. They need to hire more people or just fix this issue. Coopers Hawk across the street has better food for a longer wait but at least they sit customers at the amount of tables they have. I hate to be that guy. My waitress was so messed up Or something... She straight up gaslighted me. I asked her if there was meet in the queso. She said no. The menu said there was beef. I am VEGETARIAN. I am sick. Placed an online order for Old timer with American cheese plain well done and a Santa Fe Burger with everything at 3:30 PM, requested a pick up for 4:00 o'clock. At 3:47 received a text that order was ready. I arrived at 4:00 and stood in the pick up area for four or five minutes before I could get anybody's attention. A 6 or 7 minute ride home to extreme disappointment. The Old Timer was not an Old Timer it was a smash burger. This burger was cool and extremely greasy. The fries were cold and the quantity was sparingly. The Santa Fe burger was also cool and also greasy. Both burger lacked any flavor. Fries cold and a small amount. It appears that the order was done in haste or burgers were cooked previously and slapped together. All of this for $30.83. We have ordered several times and had excellent food. Chilis is now selling wings under the guise of " it's just wings" -- lemme tell you for $30 I am PISSED. The soda was flat and didn't taste right. The chocolate pie dessert was COLD and tasted like it was cooked in chicken grease. The wings were hard, dry, flavorless. The lemon pepper was salty with no flavor. The "secret fry sauce " is a knock off of Chick-fil-A sauce but nasty. The whole situation was disappointing and a huge waste of $30 and now I still have to go out and get food for the family! Yum. Had the honey pepper chipotle chicken tenders. It came with two sides. I picked the loaded mashed potato and corn on the cob. All I can say is yum. They had a special 3 for $10. We came this weekend with a few friends. I'm not a chain person at all, but I've always had good experiences at Chili's so I obliged. It was a ghost town on Saturday afternoon, but that just meant we got friendly, quick service from the host and server. We ordered the 2 for $20 and I got the chicken fajitas (add rice and beans for 99 cents) and my husband went with the Chicken Bacon quesadillas (with a side of Southwest Mac and Cheese for $2.99) We also got the guac and chips as the appetizer included in the 2 for $20. The fajitas are the best thing they have on the menu and this time was no different. They were piping hot and served with tons of condiments. However, I only got 3 tortillas, when I could have made this stretch for at least 5-6. The quesadillas were REALLY good too. I was expecting them to be underwhelming, but they were flavorful and were served with sour cream and rice&beans. We also ordered two $5 margaritas. They were served in a super small glass, but tasted really good. Our server was friendly and attentive and we had no complaints about it overall. We have not been to Chili's in years. We were excited to try it again. Unfortunately we decided we would never eat at a Chili's again. The food was mediocre. The rice with fajitas was hard. Black beans were watery and flavor was average. The corn tortillas were hard and rubbery. Difficult to bite. Portion size was amazing though. Staff was very friendly but it took forever to get refills and then bill. There were maybe 20 people in whole restaurant but the staff all hung out visiting. We will never be back! read more

Order 2 margarita grilled chicken dinners for takeout. When we started to eat our dinners they were completely wrong. They did have chicken but one dinner did not have the rice and beans but both dinners had corn on the Cobb and French fries! Don't know where that came from plus the dinner were borderline cold.
