I should start by saying I usually enjoy eating at Chili's. But the past few times that I have visited this location, I have been very disappointed. About a month ago, I was there at lunchtime and because we were in a hurry, we agreed to be seated in the bar area. The server who was responsible for us spent most of his time chatting up the 16 year old girls who were at another table. We had to wait 15 minutes to even get water and had to ask repeatedly for things like refills and a few lemon wedges for the water. The food was fine (I almost always get a salad). And then tonight we decided to go for dinner. Since it was Friday night, we knew we'd be in for a bit of a wait. I have to say this is the last time I will go there at dinnertime! We were told our wait would be about 30 minutes, which is not bad for 7pm on a Friday night. My frustration grew as table after table emptied but no one in the waiting area was being seated as they emptied. Five tables emptied, and one party was seated. Then another three tables emptied and one party was seated. At one point there were 6 parties of people (us included) waiting for a table while there were at least 10 empty and clean tables just sitting there. It has to be the most egregiously inefficient seating process that I have ever seen. In the interest of fairness, I will say that the server tonight was very helpful and attentive... a nice change from our last visit to this Chili's. I will avoid this restaurant at all costs for dinnertime; the food isn't nearly good enough to warrant putting up with such frustrating management. read more

Good food, good service. Nothing over the top, but I love this place. The chipotle chicken mex bowl is my favorite. Amazing burgers too.

Chili's recently has been introducing new things on the menu and most are very good. This is our go to restaurant in town. We are rarely disappointed. read more

Wish they had a no star button!!!10 minutes to have a waitress offer us drinks. They dropped us kid menus for our kids with no crayons. We ordered some adult drinks, skillet queso, and the kids food first. They brought the kids drinks fairly quick and we ordered our entrees. About another 10 minutes to get out drinks. The kids were served shortly after, then they finally brought our appetizer. The chips looked like the bottom of the bag mostly broken crumbs. We blazed through the chips pretty fast, we were starving. No on came by to check on us or refill our waters and chips. About another 30 minutes goes by with no entrees. I lost it, flagged another waitress down and asked her to find our server to bring us our bill. She came over and didn't apologize for our issue. She said "I hope everything was good". Uh yeah, we never got our food! Maybe if you checked in on us things would have got expedited! She then offered to take our entrees off or get them to go. Yeah, I had enough! Besides how could she take them off? They weren't on our bill. I think maybe she didn't ring them in. Either way kids were satisfied, drinks were ok, chips sucked,queso was ok. I wish a manger had come by. Oh almost forgot how filthy the floor was where we sat. I am sure a family with small kids were there before us. Crap everywhere! I used my foot as a broom so I wouldn't need to step in it. This probably goes down in my top 5 worst restaurant experience in my 40+ years of life. No way I will ever come close to this place or ever recommend this place. I would rather tell all my friends and family to avoid this place like the plague. As far as Chilis goes, maybe I will try another location. I will be extremely cautious. Thank GOD for Freddys Steakburgers drive thru. We got to eat after all!!!! read more

Decided to get some food to go for the Broncos game and couldn't be happier with our choice. Order some BBQ boneless wings and I guess they dont have those on the menu but they whipped some up for us anyways and they were great! read more

Went on Fri.and sat in the bar. It never fails, the menus are always sticky!! Is it possible to clean them? My husband's beers were warm and not in a frosted glass. Food was fair, not great. This is the same story every time we go, it certainly is a disappointment, Would be nice if management would do something to ironed these issues. read more

Absolutely the filthiest restaurant I've been at in a long time. We couldn't even eat dinner. Sat at bar, had to ask bartender to wipe our area. the entire bar had food crumbs and needed bussing! The floor was dirty, the bathroom was super dark (even the staff agreed as I walked out, I commented, they said- I know you can't see anything!) and dirty, no paper towels to dry hands.. The bartender was putting glasses away and the "clinking" was so loud I was sure some were chipping. We asked why he didn't have a bar-back to help, he said he refused to have anyone back there as he wanted the tips. The tv was on to a country top 20 station and the commercials were loud, there was a baseball game on another channel, why was that not on the speakers? .. An elderly gentlemen stayed even shorter time than we did, It was a bizarre experience. I've been going to Chili's since Tamarac Square, and we love the one in Southlands. HUGE kudos to Darlene the bartender at Southlands Chili's. Seriously if I were a GM I would put camera's up, secret customer, and watch what is going on here??? read more

If you want to witness one of the worst ran restaurants this is the place! Expect to wait 30 minutes with numerous tables open and watch the hostess stand there and not care. So far we have been waiting 20 minutes for our drinks and have yet to see our server again. Coming from someone who has previously worked in the service industry, this place is terrible and we will never return. read more

Ordered our favorite chips and salsa. The salsa was good. The chips were overcooked, tasted like they were fried in old oil, stale and not served warm like they usually are. We told the waitress and she brought us another order that was the same and said, "that's just how they are". They didn't try to cook a fresh batch or figure out what the problem was. Then our fajitas arrived. They were not sizzling, like usual. The steak was flavorless and barely warm. The shrimp were tiny excuses for what I would get at any restaurant that would served grilled shrimp fajitas. The fajita veggies were not seasoned or cooked, just looked like they put raw onions and peppers on the fajita plate before they added the meats. Before we left, we saw other tables served chips that looked much better that what we were served. Apparently, they wanted to finish the old batch on us. The whole meal was very disappointing. Service was lacking any enthusiasm or interest in ensuring a good meal. Why would we go back? In the past, the Chili's manager would visit tables to ask if your meal was good. This didn't happen. I suppose they already know the answer and don't want to hear the negative feedback. $45 wasted on this meal. read more

I live nearby, and this place is one of my reliable go-to spots for a good meal. They can get busy during the dinner hour, so there can be some understandable delays in seating and order-to-service time, but I've always found the food to be a good value for the price, and the wait staff has a good attitude overall. read more

Meh . I've had better burgers at other locations. We ordered a couple of burgers medium well and got them medium rare to medium. Mine wasn't hot, so I think I got a pre-cooked patty that was only partially reheated. Service was courteous. read more

We have gone to dinner at Chili's a few times. Each time the service was horrible, and the food took forever. The last time we were sat within minutes of arriving, yet after 30 minutes our server hadn't greeted us, so we left. I wouldn't recommend this Chili's read more

So after waiting for almost an hour for our food to arrive the waitress finally comes and says the kitchen is backed up and that the whole situation was "retarded" and that she would get her manager, even though we hadn't ask to speak to one. Shortly after that 4 of our ordered 5 meals arrived at the table and the waitress stated she would be right back with the fifth meal. Another 5 minutes go by before she returned and said the kitchen was once again "retarded" and it would be another 5 minutes for the last meal to arrive. She once again said she would get her manager. At which point I explained that I didn't want the meal as I was too disgusted with the service. A few minutes later a person who I assumed was the manager comes by to ask " what's going on"? Not offering an apology or a reason for not being able to make a simple meal in an hour, I explained that I didn't want the meal and to just bring the check ( for the 4 excuses for meals that amazing arrived at the table). She said ok and left. Needless to say there are many better options to spend my money in establishments that are not full of "retarded" staff. My advise to the moron representing herself as the manager is to learn a phrase similar to: I am sorry, we screwed up. How can I make this right, as I have no excuse for our failure. read more

The ONLY good thing about the experience was that the waitress tried! She was personable and upbeat. She remained so after we waited, and waited and waited and she went in twice to check on WHY we were still waiting.....three lemon-aide/ice tea refills later she announced that EUREKA - our food would be served. Well sort of. We were missing one dinner. Oh well. We could share a little and cope until it showed up. But wait - my order was incomplete - and cold. They forgot the dressing and avocado on my tacos. My husband's burger had obviously sat waiting a forelorn time because it was room temp, soggy and his fries were cold. Our friends fries were warm, but her tacos were the wrong kind of chicken - and again, no dressing. On all of the tacos the bacon that was supposed to be a part of the whole thing was also non-existent. The waitress, came back (promptly) with dressing and a few little slices of avocado. Still no dinner for our other friend. Ah - here it comes. Stone cold! Plus - she had specifically asked for the lettuce to be left off (allergies) and it was brimming with lettuce. The taco shells felt like they had just been removed from the refrigerator - and again - no dressing, bacon or avacado. By this time, the waitress is beside herself, apologizing and trying to make things right. Two other friends that were there had meals that were served correctly but were not good. They ate less than half of what they were served. The manager REFUSED to come out and talk to us. The Manager Refused to comp the meals. The waitress (try number 4) finally comped a small part of the bill and that was that. We left hungry, irratated and firm in our resolve that we would never again visit at Chili's. read more

Was a regular on take out. Yea it's not the best, but it's fast and decent. Now they've changed ownership and don't allow you take a drink in a bottle out. I've been lots of Chilli's and until this one changed the rule they have allowed allowed to buy a IBC root beer and go. Now I have to stop to get a root beer, and since I don't really want to stop twice I just will keep driving past Chilli's. read more

Worst Service on the Front Range. We have gone to this place a few times and most of the time the service is sub par at best. The latest trip prompted me to write this one up. We arrived at the restaurant and were seated. We sat there for 10-15 minutes and were never even greeted. At least 5 servers made eye contact with me and nothing. Finally, we put on our coats and walked out. On the way I spoke to the manager Brian and he offered to take care of us himself. He did not specify what was meant by "help us" was. At that point there was probably not much that would have gotten us to stay but certainly a vague offer to take care of us himself seemed a bit weak considering we were walking out of the building after being ignored. Skip Chili's and just go across the street to Texas Road House! You may have to wait but it is better than walking right in, sitting down, and being ignored by the servers and staff! read more

First time here since the remodel. Decor looked great, but went downhill from there. Food was terrible! Ordered the chicken fajitas, an old stand by. They came out of the kitchen and weren't even sizzling. The chicken looked like frozen reheated chicken strips and had a mesquite flavor. Yuck!! What about fajita seasoning?? The onions and peppers also looked like they were frozen and warmed up. No flavor, no color. Completely pale with no "char" marks on them from being seared on the skillet plate. Disappointing! One of my kids ordered chicken strips with french fries. There were perhaps seven french fries total with the order. We also got buffalo chicken wings as an appetizer. They were okay, but not as crispy as I like them. Not exactly undercooked as far as dangerously so, but definitely had that chewy gooey feel in your mouth that makes you almost gag. Sadly this was a meal for one of the kids' birthdays. Dropped around $100 on one of the worst meals of the year. And as a side note, our server was extremely slow. We waited nearly 15 minutes to get our bill and around 5 to get her to take the payment. Ugh! read more

Absolutely the worst service and awful food to match. I sat at a booth in the bar and ordered a beer rather than wait for a table. It took 15 minutes to get the beer (i'm sitting about 5 feet from the bar) and when a different waitress finally did bring it, she made up a lame excuse that the order went in but 'the system' messed it up. I ordered the chicken flatbread, what a mistake that was (or not, maybe the rest of the food is worse) as it was practically burnt to a crisp and everything including the chicken was cotton dry, could hardly choke it down. Then one of the waitress' came by after an eternity and gave me the perfunctory and empty "how is everything" and when I didn't lie and say it was great she got a hurt look and said the chicken flatbread was her favorite! Really? Is it because you're dating the cook or you just have no taste? Thumbs down on this place, I wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy. read more
