Why this place has less than 3 stars I do not know because at first I was hesitant just because of the low reviews. Decided to give this location a try anyway and it was great. I believe our server was named Rachel, and she was so attentive. Our food was quickly made, was so fresh, and exactly what I was hoping for it to be. The place itself is very clean as well which is always always important to me. The hostess was amazing (I even left a tip in the jar) however I got home snd opened up my surf and turf and found sitting on top a HUGE piece of someones glove. Big enough to where that cook/expo DEFINITELY noticed a piece of their glove missing. I am lucky that I noticed it or that this meal was not for a child because someone would of gotten seriously hurt, and Chilis sued. I infrequent this place, primarily bc I don't pass by it much. I went around 1:30 pm. Not many people yet & I almost ended up leaving bc it was so long for someone to notice me to seat me! I ordered the dinner portion of steak fajitas with a side of queso and wow was that side huge. The only issue is that the waitress brought out what's to the back left in the photo (tortillas, etc & the queso (to the right). And there it all sat. For eleven (11) minutes before she brought out the actual fajitas. I just do not understand why they were not brought out at the same time. Regardless, I still tipped well & it doesn't take but about 5 min for me to get full so I just brought the actual meat home with me & left the rest on the table. We arrived around 10 pm and apologized for coming in so late because we knew that they closed in about an hour. They were not bothered at all and sat us down. My husband ordered steak, mash potatoes and broccoli and he loved it! I got the bottomless chips, soup and salad and it all tasted delicious! I got the chicken tortilla soup and the caesar salad. I was VERY impressed by this chili's, only because i read mixed reviews before i went but this is by far the BEST chili's i have been to. We were seated less than a minute at our booth and waited less than 2 minutes to meet our waiter and get our drinks. Our waiter (i forgot his name because I'm pregnant lol but he was slightly tall with short curly hair) was VERY attentive and friendly the whole entire visit. I was very disappointed. They have 6 uncleaned tables an just told me they have a 15 minute wait. Yelp does not say there is a wait time at all. 2 ladies had been sitting here 10 minutes already. I said something to the hostess and she just rolled her eyes. Currently 2 tables are sitting un occupied and shes casually putting away menus.... girl hasnt met karen yet I will edit my review as service comes along... **after service review I was not happy at all with the rest of the service. I really this Chili's was going to be different than all the other ones in the surrounding areas including pace and the other one in Pensacola. It was overly Loud by a group of men watching football. Had a great time , really enjoyed it. There was one problem with my experience, the CONSTANT selling/up selling of the bartender was irritating. For example I said no to appetizers and she tried to talk me into them 3 more times after that. Then I said no to dessert and she badgered me about the lava cake 3 more times after I said no. I really love Chili's Texas Cheese Fries and decided to grab an order while downing a brew and watching some Monday Night Football. This stand alone restaurant is co-located at the mall so there's plenty of parking. Pandemic protocols are in place. Please note that numerous parking spots are marked for car pick up (you call in your order, you park, call in again to let them know which stall you're parked in, and they bring your order to you). I sat at the bar. The bartender took the order of the guy seated next to me and then took off. She came back after a few minutes and said she was sorry about the wait and that she would be back shortly. When she finally waited on me, I ordered a beer and the Cheese Fries. After a while, I noticed that she was apologizing to every one of her customers for one thing or another. I decided to give the issue more attention. It was obvious she was offerings a very shallow apology and there was no serious sincerity within her voice. It was actually starting to get annoying to listen to her constantly saying, "sorry for blah, blah, blah." In my opinion, she should have been addressing the cause instead of making excuses. So then my order came. Whoa! The cheese wasn't melted and some of the fries were burnt black on the tips. How is that possible! We all know that restaurants have little tricks to correct orders prepared incorrectly. Digging into my order, I did find melted cheeses under the unmelted cheese...again, that is not possible if this order were prepared and cooked correctly. I should have immediately sent the order back but decided to see if this might be a better way to cook this particular order. Since I decided not to send the order back, I felt that I had foregone the opportunity to reject the order once I started eating it. Well, the order wasn't nearly as hot as it should have been...not even close. Because some fries had burnt tips, it's obvious to me that the order was overcooked originally, that some of the overcooked fries were removed, that more fries were added, and that it was topped with more cheese but not put back into the oven. But again, I decided to give it a try. This was a huge mistake on my part. Because the bartender (my server) never checked to see if my food was OK, I'm positive she too knew the order was messed up. This is the only time I've ever had this order come this way. Management definitely needs to do a quality check on this particular bartender/server, cook, and or establishment. I know Chili's serves some pretty tasty food. But today's visit would definitely turn off a first time visitor from ever wanting to eat here again. read more

Our server, Rochelle, made this visit a disaster. I ordered the big mouth bites with no onion(they sauté it in the bacon so you can't just pull onion off) and it came with the onion. No big deal, I called the server over and told her I had ordered my burgers with no onion. Her response? "Well I put them in right" Rochelle, the correct response is "I'm sorry your order is incorrect, let me fix that for you" Then our drinks were not refilled until the end of the meal and when she did, she brought the drinks back, straws touching. Gross even if we aren't in the middle of a pandemic. Not to mention the bartender with her mask below her chin, that wiped her nose with her finger then did not wash her hands. I will not be back. So I will be honest, I haven't been to Chili's since they took Spinach and Artichoke Dip off of their menu just to put into perspective how long it has been. A friend and I met here for lunch on a Saturday and didn't have to wait. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly. Our food took a little longer than expected, so our waitress gave us some chips and dip for free for the longer wait. My pasta was very delicious and had an assortment of spices and cheeses. We came in to Chili's at 8:20 PM tonight. They told us it would take 20 minutes to be seated. We waited 30 minutes and then we were told it was gonna take another 10 minutes to be seated. Over six employees standing in the back not working. Just observing. We felt like they were Unintentionally trying to serve us. The absolute worst service I've ever had at a chili's. Food was good and hot but the server was inattentive, rude, sarcastic and slow. Never checked on us, couldn't be found to get check and to go boxes. Poor experience today at new location. Sat in bar area as I was a single. Server was friendly and greeted me. Ordered ice tea, chips and salsa and said in 5 minutes put in chickens fajita. Tea came out sweet. He forgot to ask. I don't drink sweet tea. 10 minutes later he came and gave me my check . Wait what - how about my meal first Finished chips. He changed out the tea. Then waited another 20 minutes for meal. He ran past me and said I ordered you the lunch portion.....maybe you should ask the customer what they wanted. Bottom line poor service. I watched 5 employees. 2 at the counter 3 in bar area and I was there almost 40 minutes for chips and salsa. Arrived 11:30 to beat the lunch crowd. Manager was nice. But explained my experience and poor and that I felt my experience was not what I expected. In today's world customers have choices. I wish I could give negative stars. I am visiting from out of town and my daughter begged to come for her birthday. Well we were told that we would need to wait 30 mins because "the waitress didn't want to serve another big party", we were a party of 7 . I would like to point out that there were 3 waitresses at 3:00P on a Tuesday, the restaurant was fairly empty. Furthermore, she proceeded to seat 2 other tables who arrived after me. It's a Chili's. Honestly, this newer location with the more open concept has somewhat of a sterile feel to it; i.e., it has lost some of the character that made Chili's a Chili's. Gone is the southwest feel, from the table tops to the chili-shaped door handle. Now it is just a restaurant like many others. This location also struggles to get help more than other places it seems. read more

My family and I evacuated from a hurricane in Louisiana and came to Pensacola this chili's didn't fail me everyone was nice and so kind well everyone who approached my car. I have recently eaten both in the restaurant and ordered delivery. In both cases the food was over cooked. At least in the restuarant I could send it back. Even then the meal came back not fully prepared. The bartender went back and pulled the missing items off of old plate and simply redelivered it. This location has gone downhill since moving to the new location, and this has nothing to do with COVID. It's just laziness and the inability to properly cook food read more
