We met our grand daughter here for a late lunch yesterday. When we entered, the server asked us if we could sit in the bar area as she was the only server. We did, no problem. The food was done right and the service was excellent! Robyn, our server, could be called rockin Robyn as she was on top of it all. Working in the customers, keeping up with our needs like refills on drinks and clearing our table as we finished. It is not very often you see a server handle multiple tables and keep it all right with a smile and she should be commended and maybe evaluate her hourly as she is worth more than you are paying here Chili's! Where do I start? It's been a long time since I visited a Chili's so I decided to try Chili's "3 for Me" to get reacquainted. To my surprise, the food and service were good. We hit a pothole when it was time to pay. The $10.99 meal came to over $15.00 before adding a gratuity. My math shows that the bills should have been just over $12. Even with a 25% tip, it would barely reach $15. At this Pleasanton, California location, the kiosk on the table did not provide details so we paid and left. Several weeks later we returned for lunch and asked about the additional charges. We were told, "We may have selected PLAY on the kiosk and it charges you $1.99". WTH? As for the food, it was not as good as this second visit. But we were properly charged for our meals. I'm going on another Chili's hiatus. You almost had me back. read more

I've always come to Chili's with low expectations, and those expectations are typically met. But this recent visit made me delete the app off my phone. The tone of this visit was set by the drunkard (at noon?!?!) at the bar screaming about Cryptocurrency and telling everyone how money is fake because it belongs to whoever signed it (WHAT?!?). Ordered chips and salsa to hold me over until the drunk passed out. Chips made on site, but if you don't separate the tortillas as you put them in the fryer, they're just big clumps of greasy masa. Ordered a full rack of ribs, which is usually what Chili's is known for (you know the song?). These ribs were so dry, I'm sure someone thought to put them in a dehydrator to make jerky. No quantity of sauce could help. This dish came with white cheddar mac n' cheese. Usually good because it's premade and just needs to be reheated, but I think whoever prepared this for me just cut open the plastic bag and dropped them into the bowl because they were ice cold. Finally, the french fries, which are typically pretty decent, were completely freezer burned. How many times are they taking the bag of fries out of the freezer, letting them mostly thaw, then throwing them back into the freezer to get them this freezer burned? My mom's freezer has fries in it that are probably a year old that aren't this freezer burnt. This was hands down, the worst, most embarrassing, completely revolting, visit to ANY fast casual restaurant I've had. This Chili's makes Applebee's seem like Michelin star material. read more

I went in person to order takeout for the first time and they actually have a to-go area on the left side of their main door. The inside was pretty big and the service was ok. The cashier was quite confused when I asked for the sides option as I ordered a 3 for me set takeout. I saw that online have the option to choose corn instead of fries but they told me I couldn't. It wasn't a big deal and I just ended up getting a 3 for me with the big smasher burger, fries, chips and salsa, and a soda. There was a bit of wait time since it took almost 30 minutes for my order even though there wasn't anyone but it could be also because I went when they just opened. The burger was my favorite of this meal! It's juicy and really flavorful with all the toppings. The fries and salsa were decent and they gave me a huge bag of chips! Did I come here just for the triple dipper? YES. Those mozzarella sticks are sooo good. Probably one of the better ones I've ever had. It had such a nice cheese pull to it and was so good with the marinara sauce. I came with my bf on a Saturday because they have happy hour all day, but to my disappointment you need to be seated at the bar, which they didn't tell us. In addition the mozzarella sticks, we got the sliders and the Nashville hot chicken. The sliders were pretty average, there wasn't anything special about them but they weren't bad either. The chicken tenders were extremely salty though. I would probably order something else the next time I come . They also seemed to be have some sort of staffing issue since I couldn't tell who our server was and they were constantly behind on providing basic utensils and condiments.The portion sizes are huge and we definitely didn't need a side of fries but you can also never go wrong with fries! read more

I will start by saying the Livermore location is absolutely MID and made me give up on chilis restaurants. However, this Pleasanton spot keeps people in line because the food is much better, comes out much faster, and the service and servers are way more cool and on top of it. Hey GM Brenda, this was a brutal experience. I specifically downloaded the app and placed a to-go order for efficiency. Order placed at 11am sharp for an estimated 11:26-11:31am pick-up. I arrived promptly at the Chili's To-Go entrance at 11:26am and 8-10 employees were sitting down, partying with food, drinks, and pie. I was greeted by an employee who told me it'd be a couple minutes. It ended-up being a 20 minute wait because THE ORDER WASN'T EVEN STARTED UNTIL I ARRIVED. This is completely unacceptable. I went to Chili's over the weekend with some friends, and ordered a drink listed on their menu (Texas ranch water). I attached a photo of what was brought to the table! Chili's is criminally underrated. The 3 for me deal for $11 is incredible and dare I say it, better value than even In n Out. The smash burger is huge and has crispy edges on a large and juicy patty and comes with fries! The appetizers whether you choose a soup or chips n salsa is good value as well. Chips were light, fresh, and crispy. The soup is pretty good as well with the chicken enchilada or cheesy baked potato. On top of it all you get a drink with it. I highly recommend the mango ice tea. Service is also very good. Our server kept checking on us and asked us for refills on our drinks. I almost don't want to write this good review to keep it a secret. Watch out though, I am going to get so fat eating here! read more

It was fairly quiet on a Friday afternoon, so my coworkers and I all met here for a drink after our meeting at work. It wasn't too busy or crazy, so we all enjoyed drinks and appetizers. The drinks are strong and the food is decent, yet underwhelming. You know what you are getting here, and like with any chain restaurant, the service can vary from day-to-day. Our server was pretty nice and attentive, we had a large group and he got all of our drinks right! I would definitely come back here for drinks, but not necessarily food. First off I wanted to say I wanted to try a new happy hour so had gone to Faz to try them because I had heard they were good but unfortunately we decided not to stay there because they don't do mixed drinks only wine and beer. At this time it was already past 6 so most places their happy hour ends by 6. Decided to go to chili's nearby by this time it was 6:30.
