Absolutely terrible service! Went to the bar to watch Warriors game and have dinner. After a long time of watching the bartender chat with friends she finally came over. Upon ordering we requested that one of the 20 TVs in the area could maybe show us the Warriors game which they have done for us before. We were informed that there was a lock on the TVs anytime there's a Kings game on. Absolutely poor service and terrible customer service. Glad this is local, close enough to be able to walk over. Today got dinner. Able to sit inside (no outdoor seating) and it appears Take Out with curbside pick up is still going very well and busy. Parking is close but not a lot next to building (except the back) as most of the closest spots are allocated to curbside pickup, which is okay. Had Margarita Chicken and it was really good. The chicken cut into slices was cooked well and not dry at all. It is placed over tortilla strips and rice, with black beans on the perimeter. Oh, and the Mango ice tea is soooo good. Had two. I went to Chili's with my family and this one is the best one yet. Starting off with the food, FIRE! I'll start off with appetizers, the Triple Dipper. I totally recommend it, the 2 sliders/mini-burgers are , 10/10. I don't know what they put in it put it was bomb . Also in the Triple Dipper there is 2 humongous Mozzarella Sticks, they are a 12/10, wanna know why I said 12? Loaded with mozzarella and fried perfectly. Also, (1 last thing in the Triple Dipper.) the South Western Egg roll, I didn't try it but my family said it was really tasty. This came separate but you get unlimited chips with salsa, it was amazing so 10/10. Our waiter Abraham was so kind and enthusiastic, anything we told him he would do like, "Can we get napkins please?" for example. When we tipped him he really appreciated it, unlike other waiters they don't appreciate it much then I told him to do a the Fortnite Floss Dance and he did it . It was so funny. Unfortunately, I didn't even get an opportunity to taste the food. I walked in with someone and specifically asked to be sat at a booth (2 were open) and for the happy hour menu. Understandably, one side of the restaurant was happy hour, and the other was not. I'm 6'3, 260 lbs, and the host directed me to a small 2 seater table in the corner. When I walked over there, I noticed the space was way too small for me and informed the host. I asked for the larger booth that was open when I arrived, and he said that he had already given it to someone else. I asked why he would sit me at such a small table. I mentioned that I would not be able to eat there comfortably. He then apologized for the inconvenience and sat me on the restaurant side. I asked if I would still be given the happy hour menu, and he said No. At that point, I asked to speak to the manager because I was completely uncomfortable and felt that I was being treated unfairly. When the manager arrived, he stated that he didn't know why the host sat me when the happy hour side was all open seating, first come, first served. They offered a different space. However, I was in a time crunch, and by this time, at least 30 minutes had passed. I had to leave with this very unpleasant experience. This experience not only bothered me because of how I was mistreated but also because I felt that it was done maliciously. There were only 3 other African Americans in the restaurant, and the majority of the other guests were Caucasian. I was looking forward to having a great dining experience, but instead received this terrible service. I will never return to this particular location, and honestly, I am thinking of never returning to any other Chili's restaurants in the future. Went to this Chili's after a long weekend working at the Capital Air Show. We were offered a booth in the bar....we took it. It was a bit busy...20 min wait. Some confusion as to who was going to serve us, but resolved quickly. The server while pleasant must've been really busy, she made errors, but nothing critical. My two friends liked their burgers very much. Here's my gripe...I ordered NACHOS...we all know what nachos are, these were individually dressed chips that were soggy with sauce, tasted ok, but a horrible appetizer for the money....Nachos are a heaped plate a of chips with good stuff all over them and hot....this was some senior center version of nachos. Score 2/10. Next .....Brisket Quesadilla. I thought I was going to get tender savory, smoked brisket meat in between two toasted tortillas.....kinda. How about Soggy meat and the only flavors were overbearing BBQ Sauce and Cheese.......BBQ Sauce and Cheese.....that's all I tasted, the meat really didn't even need to be there. It was pretty disgusting. If my taste buds were dead from chronic smoking and drinking and I was drunk and starving, this would probably taste ok.....but I'm not and it didn't....I ate it, I was hungry, tired and in a hurry. Whoever the head corporate chef is that came up with this needs to revisit his "Chef" title and not ever make this crap again. It's an insult to chefs and a waste of money. Never Again. We walked in a couple of weeks ago 10 minutes before closing and they graciously sat us. They let us know the kitchen was closing in 10 minutes, so we quickly make our selections and placed our order. The food came out fast and was good. My boyfriend and I came to this restaurant for a quick bite after a day of work. We were greeted right away, but don't let that fool you. Once we initially put in our drink order, there were two other tables that walked in after. They were also greeted right away and asked about their drinks. She dropped off the drinks, walked away for 10 minutes talking to the 5 other coworkers who were standing by the kiosk at the bar. They were talking about taking a shift tomorrow morning and how they actually like working with the opening manager and how one of the other servers is off for a week so they can take the shift because of that. Also "Jake didn't close out" and "he was being a dick". Other profanities were also used along with talking crap about customers in front of other customers! What is professionalism? While we were still waiting to place an order after 15 minutes she pulls out her phone to show one of her coworkers something. About 2 minutes later she feels my eyes on the back of her neck and decides to not take our order, but start the order of the people who walked in after us. She then finally decided to grace us with her presence. She proceeded to take our order, but forgot to bring my drink after I had to remind her, twice!! She also has the tendency to call the customers "hun or honey" as if that's going to make up for the lack luster service she is currently giving. We got here at 8 and it is now 8:30, it's not busy we're actually 4 of 5 tables in the entire restaurant. As we were about to leave, my boyfriend needed to use the restroom and he mentioned it to be in pretty bad shape. Paper towels were scattered on the floor and it smelled like urine. On his way back to the table, there was a broom that was laid across a booth. He almost tripped and fell over it. Luckily, he noticed at the last possible moment and caught himself. So not only do we have a service issue, but now safety and cleanliness? What's going on? This is by far the worst experience I've ever had here. I HIGHLY recommend you go here. We have been coming here since we moved to Rancho Cordova in 2017. I have always loved Chili's and this one being so close to our house was a dream. It's one of the few places that I can afford to go on my fixed income because you really get a good value for your dollar. The food has always been good any time we came and not tiny portions either. The staff are very friendly (not just because they know us so well there) and attentive to any of the odd/silly requests we make of them. A few times our order has been messed up a bit (very busy times are always hard for any restaurant) They have always been able to fix whatever was wrong without making me feel (like they'd spit in my food for asking..lol) like a fool. I love the way they have changed the inside BUT wish they had kept the green window awnings, I really liked them. So I ordered the pick 3 for 10 bucks thinking it might take a lil long to get our food... the crispy chicken strips came with corn on the cob and fries, chips and salad and ice tea. While the food is pretty much the same at every location, this review will solely be based on the customer service. Group of us came in last night to celebrate National Margarita Day. Our server Karen, was super sweet (and patient) since our table was probably the loudest and rowdiest on the backside of the restaurant. Here's what I won't recommend you to order: El Niño Margarita! This margarita had wayyyyyyy to much margarita mix, not enough tequila. It's overly sweet and the after taste is just disgusting. If you're going to order a margarita, go straight for the El Presidente. This is served from a shaken cup and the presentation is classy! Here's my go-to menu item that I highly recommend: *Cajun chicken penne pasta! I've tried making this and it never turns out the same, *tears. The food is good, but if you get curbside to-go, I recommend calling when you get there in addition to checking in on the text message link. I sat out in my hot car with my dog panting, for 10 minutes and nobody showed up. I finally called, and they came right away. The young lady who brought out my food, told me that sometimes the check-in system works, and sometimes it doesn't. That is extremely annoying and frustrating. Came here for dinner. Great place for family with kids. Kids got crayons along with the menu that had games on it. Kept the kiddos busy. Got chicken strips , Mac and cheese and fries for the kids. My niece and I got the trio deal. You pick a drink (margaritas for us), an appetizer. We got chips and salsa along with queso (so good) and guacamole and she got potatoes soup. She loves the soup.
