Heading down from Big Bear with a group, we stopped here for a bite before the drive back home. The Yelp app lets you check in early and get on the wait list, which is nice. Probably the only misstep was that I went tot he bar to get some water and waited for at least 10 minutes before a bartender even showed up, and by then we were seated. The bar was pretty full, but no one was anywhere to be seen, so I thought that was odd. I like the food here. It isn't awe inspiring, but the menu is huge and there is a lot of variety, so you should be able to find something you like. I ended up with the 'upscale' taco plate, and it is tasty and relatively healthy, plus not too expensive. I also had a couple of margaritas, which I like here quite a bit. In fact, long ago I adopted the Presidente style (with brandy) as my home margarita style. Service was very friendly (apart from the missing bartender) so I have no complaints about the waitress. If you go with a group, the on-table payment system makes splitting a check really easy. You just opt to split it, and then each person ticks off what they ordered and then swipes a CC and puts in a tip. The waitress does not have to track charges, and there is no arguing over who owes what or trying to tell the waitress put X on this CC, Y on this CC and Z on the last one. read more

Had ordered curbside to go once last week, I was on my lunch break and drove down from highland. No one came to my car to greet me despite checking in. Waited 10 mins until I finally went inside where it was super busy in the to go area. There was only one girl working it looked like- after a few minutes I was able to get my order and leave. Having to go Inside defeats the purpose of curbside to go. I ordered curbside to go again today. I even showed up after my "ready" time in hopes the food would be ready this time. I check in and Nope still no one came out to greet me. I waited 12 mins then went inside. Again, looks like only one person working despite the dinner rush. I waited a few mins and got helped. She handed me a bag and items were missing. She came back from the kitchen and finally realized I had a second bag behind her. Still items missing. We get home and my husbands cup of beans were smooshed Into his rice. Food was awesome and quality was there my burger was cooked to order and good portion on the guac/salsa/chips however due to the horrible service and inconvenient service of the "to-go curbside" I'm only giving two stars. 3rd strike! This is the third time I've come to this location and they are out of something. Whoever does the ordering needs help. I ordered the 3 for $10. I was in the middle of eating my salad when the server tells me they are out of tortillas. So I needed to change my order. I didn't want anything else so I declined placing a different order.when my bill came I asked to remove the $10 since I didn't get my meal. They only adjusted it because I consumed part of the meal. As usual the music was LOUD and we had to ask it be turned down so we wouldn't have to shout at each other. This Chili's always has loud music and we always have to ask to have it turned down. After we asked it be turned down the 2nd time, the girls at the desk said they had turned it down and it had not, I do not appreciate being lied to. On the other hand, the fajitas were very good as usual except the beef was to tough to chew so we didn't eat the beef strips. Awful service this Mothers Day afternoon. Ordered and paid online for curbside service. I arrived on time, checked in but they never came after 30 minutes. Noticed a crowd of people by the door. No social distancing. Head waitress/manager kept saying its mothers day and she should be home. The worst part is that she was talking a lot, going up to customers, but NOT WEARING A MASK. Turns out all the workers were just calling out names, expecting those still in their cars to hear and come get their bags. Chilis should have hired more cooks, waitresses for this day. They kept saying they were 2 hrs behind in completing orders. After waiting 60 minutes, I requested a refund. The inept GM said he could not give me a refund receipt. I came to eat when they were not busy. I always come here since they are located near where I live. The moment my sister and I came in, an older lady stopped with her cleaning and greeted us immediately, which I thought was great because most places would just stare and wonder when another employee would greet the customers. Therefore, the greeting and seating us was fairly quick. I love the food. I always eat steak at this place. They always get the steak at the right temperature that I like, medium rare. My co-workers and I frequent Chili's often for lunch because it is affordable and close to work. Today I had the shrimp tacos, which I asked for without the pico de gallo. Although they arrived with pico, my order was rushed and they returned in less than five minutes. The only thing I haven't cared for is the "new" chili -- I believe they recently changed the style. I can definitely do without it. Please go back to the old one. Also, we've had many different servers over time and a few of them have become our favorites, Gordon being one. If I could give this location zero stars I would. Let me just start by say I have never felt so uncomfortable visiting ANY restaurant or received such terrible customer service in my life. I came out to lunch with a girl friend of mine after work and as soon as we both we're seated and greeted by our server (Jason) I automatically wanted to go to a different table for which he would not be serving. He was very rude and treated us as if he didn't want anything to do with us. I just assumed he had a bad day so I didn't bother asking for management. It wasn't until the table right behind us got seated where things got interesting. Jason was all laughs and smiles when it came to the table behind us and might I say providing excellent customer service. I don't want to make this a race issue I really don't but clearly that had to have been the case. My friend and I were the only ones of color seated in his section and we were the only ones treated as if he had a problem serving our table. We asked for the check and then asked to speak to management. That's when they sent over Tito, who we just saw getting coached by his manager while we were at our table. Tito was unfit to handle customer complaints as he did not show any empathy for our experience nor offering any apology or solution for what my friend and I had just felt with. So my boyfriend and I like to come here on Sunday and sit in tbe bar area for all day happy hour. We've never been on a Friday night as I really hate crowds. We've gotten closer to the end of waitstaff. One day, many waitstaff will be replaced by robots. At Chilis, they've put a touch screen monitor on every table. With this monitor, you can order drinks from the bar, order dessert, see an interactive menu, play games, and pay by credit card (you still have to order your first round of drinks and your appetizer and entrée from a human being). I bet one day, a robot will bring your order to your table for you while you stare into your phone. Eliminates all interpersonal interaction. I hate it that they put the caloric information on items. I didn't want to know that the bloomin' onion was 1,400 calories. I just want to stuff my face with delicious greasy goodness dripping with ranch dressing. To save my pants from bursting at the seams, I had the sirloin steak with steamed broccoli with only 250 calories. It was pretty darn good. The staff are well trained; they check on you and another one comes to let you know the first one is on break then yet another one comes to bring you your food.
