Our whole group ordered the Three for Me special, which includes a starter (salad, chips and salsa, or soup) and a drink, which I upgraded mine to the margarita of the month, plus an entrée. I went with the Smasher Burger, and it was delicious. Our server, Kevin, went above and beyond for our party of seven. He had waters ready for us as soon as we sat down, was patient, and walked those of us unfamiliar with the Chili's menu through all the options. Our food came out quickly, tasted great, and matched exactly what we ordered. Kevin continued to check on us throughout the meal and brought refills for both sodas and waters without us even having to ask, which made it so easy for us to keep enjoying our time together. My friend took us here for a Thank You dinner. We were a party of 9, fun. It wasn't busy, pretty quiet. We all ordered something different from the menu, appetizers, along with drinks and dessert. It took a while for the food, that's fine a lot a people in our group. But, when it did come out, some of the food was lukewarm warm and others too hot to touch. Then we started eating, blah, I felt like mine was bland, I was expecting a spark of flavor, but nothing, also, the chicken was over cooked (something's you can't hide with sauce). Some of the other ladies said similar statements. We will go one more time, but sadly, if it's the same, that will be the last time. Except for the service I'd say my granddaughter & I had a very mediocre experience at this Chili's. I had heard kids eat free with an adult and thought we'd check it out. I think this is a cool spot to go if you are balling on a budget. I normally get there three for 1 deal. I really like their soups. I have normally gotten their chicken enchilada soup, as well as the potato one. This last time I got their burger off of the menu and honestly it was not that great. I will admit. I normally do their Cajun shrimp pasta or the steak for the three for one deal. However, I was feeling a burger this last time and it was a bit disappointing to be honest. However, service here is always good they give you refills basically without even asking. The spot is always packed, but they always find a way to serve you, which is nice. I've come to this Chili's a few times and the food is pretty good. Most of the time service is wonderful as well. We went yesterday (Sunday) for a birthday and it was quite frankly insane. It was very busy, so wait time for 6 people was almost an hour and when we were placing app orders the waitress confirmed that it's typically busy on Sundays. Everything started smoothly, the drinks and apps were good. That's when things quickly devolved. There was a specific blonde female food runner that kept trying to bring plates to tables asking if they had ordered it, I watched her ask the table to our left if they ordered an app (they said no) then ask us (we said no) then give it to the people on the left she just asked saying "whelp, here". From there I watched her haphazardly give food to random tables. The table to the right got what I think was our tables food, spicy when they asked for not spicy as I heard them complain about it later, the table on our left was talking about never getting X food while everyone else had eaten (which was forewarning for us and despite both right and left tables being seated after us, left before us). One of our guest never got their food and we waited 30 more minutes for them to bring it. Half of us had to leave after 1.45 hours being there because it was just too loud and frustrating. The two that remained waited another 20-30 min for the bill after asking 4 times and received a discount on the bill. One thing, the waitress and other staff were nice although obviously stressed. It really sucks her night was ruined bc of that food runner who seemed to be training. Second thing, why train what seems to be a new employee on a night that is ALWAYS busy? Nor have someone shadowing her if she wasn't an experienced runner and give her the tables with only large parties? Honestly I think that's a huge sign of management failure. I don't fault the waitress and depending if the runner was honest on their resume, I wouldn't fault her. This was a very disappointing end to what was a great day and soured the birthday person's day. Service was slow, it felt as if our server frequently checked in on everyone else but us. We stuck to apps over entrees, the mozzarella sticks presented were undercooked. Since our server really didn't check on us we were unable to send them back. They never took them off the tab nor did I push to get them taken off the tab. I got a half apology and offer to remake them well after we were done dining. I paid for an untouched app which went wasted. Customer service could be much better.... I have not eaten here in a long time. We were in the area and decided to check it out for lunch. There were not very many cars in the parking lot and I thought it was closed. We went in and they were open so we waited to be seated. It took a while but once an employee saw up, we were taken to a table and ordered drinks. We looked at the lunch specials menu and it looked great. We opted for the lunch specials that were only $10. I ordered the double cheeseburger with fries and a small Caesar salad and my wife had the chicken sandwich with just a salad. There were three wait staff and the service was great. Even if they did not have our table a wait staff would come by and check on us. I don't even really know who was our waiter. The burger came and it was cooked medium and the meat was the thickness of a double cheeseburger from McDonald's but the bun was bigger and had more add-ons. The fries were delicious and the salad was fresh and tasted great. I have NOT eaten at a restaurant with this much food for $10 in a while. Well worth the money. It's not the best burger I have had but the value of the meal with what you received was great! My wife liked her chicken sandwich as well and we were both happy. Chili's in Rohnert has always been really good. Not so much today. My normal or is a full rack and whatever came as sides, PLUS 2or three street corns and maybe loaded mashed potatoes. Dry rub on the ribs (server never asked my preference - so my ribs were slatherd in sauce, which is all I could taste). Today, also, I was disappointed to learn the street corn is off the menu. When I asked why, my server didn't know, but said they had always been good sellers. So, no street corn. Rather than a full rack and no sparkling corn flavor, I got a half rack and quesadillas, brisket and chicken. Nothing special. Bottom line, I go for the ribs and look forward to the corn.
